Sagi, will have to come back and read tomorrow night... have guests at home, so did not come here in the last two days. And now I have to sleep, have to wake up early

Nice, short and crisp end! Turned out to be a case of 'Much ado about nothing' in an anti-climax sor of way 😛 Everything was set-up by the watchman, who incidentally turned out to be the brightest of them all! 😆

The first trio and their so-called escape or rather descent down the stairs was funny to read... could almost visualize a situation right out of a slapstick comedy. 😛 the HM couple were left unharmed and totally unaffected in this mess. And the instigator Ghanshyamdas met his match or rather matches and ended up as the biggest loser...

Only question... did the watchman patiently work here all along waiting for the perfect opportunity like this one to arise wherein he can set-up this elaborate scheme to draw people in, make his money and disappear off the face of the earth?

I think I will answer it by a small addition in the story. The watchman started planning this the day Ghanshyamdas asked him about the property. And even before that, he had just walked in the cottage with nobody to account for.

Ghanshyamdas took a bar from the treasure chest to the goldsmith, who after testing cheerfully informed him that the gold bars were actually copper bars coated with gold.

😆 Rightly put by Aarti.. Much ado about Nothing !

Good most cultivated ending ! 👏 Well narrated the events in every room of dark.. slowly coming out in the light of reality !!!

Liked the way the things shaped up in the end ! Most likely loved Nidhi's guts to go all alone to find out the rest in the house ! ⭐️ Lovable character, even emerged cooly in dangers !

Sukhram did it all.. the rumour is over n he is well slipped in his armchair. 😛

Mallika is out of danger cos of her father's influence.. Ashni are at a safer service station, with so much of tomato pulp in the car engine.. hehe.. the mysterious sack was full of tomatoes.. 😛 Poor or rather much taught a lesson to Ghanshyamdas... gold coated copper bars ! 😆
