ASHNI's GRAND GESTURES OF LOVE ' PART A
Romance is in the air when Ashni are around. Their sheer presence exuded romance, every look exchanged, every word uttered, every little gesture seemed to underline the love they shared. Small, everyday objects and experiences seemed to take on a new meaning for them. As they grew as a couple one could feel the growth in the depth of their relationship just by the way they cared for the other person before themselves. So lets take a walk down memory lane and look at some gestures that defined ASHNI Romance...SOME ICONIC MOMENTS.
LIST OF ICONIC ASHNI MOMENTS:
This is a special topic as these gestures cannot be categorized into any major category like hugs or food or drinks. These were not regulars but Ashni repeated them or referred to them time and again. They were born or inspired by the love they came to feel or felt for each other. And when it happened it transported all of us into Ashni dreamland. Some of them happened even when they were falling in love, much before their confession. With each of these moments their love grew and the recognition of that love between them grew. Some of them were not romantic in the true sense, but one where their growing attachment and later their love for each other was clearly on display. So lets start at the beginning and see how each time Ashu and Nidhi behaved out of character with and for each other thus expressing their love through their actions...
First 'Accidental' meeting:
When their cars bumped, Nidhi blamed Ashu for negligence and reckless driving. Hearing this he offered her all the money he had, pleaded that this was a matter of life and death and left in a hurry. They say a great love story always starts with a bang and the dramatic first meeting of Ashu and Nidhi falls into this category.
1. Ashu's gesture astonished Nidhi, impressed her even, something about his sincerity left behind a mark...
2. Nidhi's outspokenness marked her out in KGH and made her instantly recognizable to Ashu who was later mildly impressed and amused even with her candid words and innocence...
Ear-rings saga:
After the Shahenshah fiasco, Nidhi left her ear-rings by his bed. When Ashu saw those he did not throw them out as he would have otherwise done. Instead very carefully he put them in his pocket and returned them. He surprised himself by his own generosity towards Nidhi. Eventually this became a symbol of love...
1. When Nidhi was initially impressed by his caring nature, she always looked at them remembering Ashu, maybe it made her feel close to him...
2. When she instinctively wanted to throw it as she felt the initial pangs of jealousy on seeing Ashu and Mallika at close quarters or in anger or depression after her dismissal...
3. When she wore it on the way to the airport and kept touching it as if to show that Ashu was constantly in her thoughts, and she was trying to come to a difficult decision...
4. When Rohan realized its importance during their separation and referred to Ashu as 'Mr. Earrings'...
5. When during their wedding the 'ear-ring' connection was acknowledged by both Anji and Ashu himself after the mock puja...
Raja and Titli Story:
What a story! It metaphorically described the basics of the Ashu-Nidhi story. Nidhi started it on impulse to make a sick child go to sleep and Ashu, who happened to be searching for her, stopped dead on hearing it. This closely followed their own life but also signified some tender moments between them in those earliest days that would become an everlasting memory for them. By now Nidhi knew she loved Ashu but still he felt himself drawn to Nidhi and her story. And...
1. Ashu took up where Nidhi stopped and built on it. It became their story, one that they created and one that they lived...
2. Ashu gave updates of this story and felt a sense of connection to Nidhi there when he missed her after he had dismissed her...
3. Nidhi referred to it in the Mumbai convention when she walked out of there angry and hurt. She told him that this Titli, meaning her will never ever disturb him ever again...
4. Ashu went back to tell the child the happy ending after he and Nidhi confessed their love...
5. The entire world acknowledged Raja and Titli when Armaan and Ranga turned it into a folklore and performed on this during Ashni's sangeet...
6. Nidhi refereed to it once more when she was explaining to Ahana about how Ashni fell in love. She was trying to apologize for lying about Ashu's marital status to her, giving her false hopes.
7. After the BCP, Ashu told Nidhi it was she, his Titli who had filled his world with colors and the defenses that he had carefully built over the years had come crumbling down...
These are some topics and moments that instantly relate to Ashni and their story and speak louder than any words ever could of their love. Some of Ashu and Nidhi's actions that spoke volumes of their love is what is coming up in my next part...TO BE CONTINUED.
