Voted for maybe.😕

Honestly Sujatha, repentance comes with realization. So, I will be satisfied if we even see a self-realization thought process from him, especially after hearing Bajrangi's views on Nidhi. He does not have to say anything to Nidhi in repentance at this moment but he can certainly express his regret by changing his ways. 😃 I want to see him to realize three things:

1. Nidhi is his wife, not a house guest that he can directly or indirectly ask to leave their home whenever, however angry/ upset he is with her.😒 There are only 'x' number of times that Nidhi will swallow this type of humiliation to her wife's pride before she calls his bluff and takes him up on his word like she did this time.

2. He is as much responsible for her safety as she is. He needs to show more concern and protectiveness towards her at all times and not just when he feels threatened. Just becoz she has her family close by and a safe place to stay does not necessarily mean she is secure.😔 And it certainly does not give him the liberty to directly or indirectly ask her to leave home without a care for her safety. This is the third time he has done it! 😡 😲

3. There are people like Bajrangi who consider that a married woman is married just as long as she remains with her husband. So, in his anger he indirectly was the cause of pulling Nidhi's security blanket from around her and jeopardizing her safety. By the time he started noticing and screaming hoarse about her safety, she was in no mood to listen.😡 In a twisted sort of way it was his earlier attitude towards her that forced her to lead the life of a single woman and become a target in the eyes of the likes of Amar and Bajragi. If Bajrangi was successful in his attempt, Nidhi was next in line and Bajrangi could have hurt her a lot.

As we have already seen and heard Nidhi repenting about arguing and fighting with Ashu and promising to never repeat them, I am hoping to see a change in her and hope she is shown more mature when dealing with Ashu. 😳

Wow!👏
You're amazing. I've been wanting to say these same things, but haven't because some people on the forum like to argue, just for the sake of argument, and because they like having the last word. They are so unwilling to accept another person's POV, it basically comes down to being downright rude and shutting them up, or just keeping quiet yourself, and watch them making fools out of themselves. I choose the latter.
But I simply loved your comments and analysis.
Hats off to you.👏

Thanks Anu.
@bold...today when Bajrangi told Ashu he married the wrong girl and later when he talks to Amar he says that he is taking care of Ashu so Amar can have his time with Nidhi. I think Bajrangi was basically leading on to only one thing, and it also meant that Nidhi was in danger and Bajrangi did not care that Nidhi was married! This attitude is demeaning to a wife's self respect and as her husband Ashu heard all this. That's why I wrote that atleast after this he should open his eyes and realize that if he does not give his wife the respect she deserved others will not. And if he does not look out for her safety, he is basically throwing her to the wolves and anyone can cause harm to her. Before saying any drastic things in future, I hope he remembers this incident which was indirectly caused by his harsh words uttered in anger.

Thanks for clarifying.😃
I remember the first part.
But ashu was not there when Bajrangi was talking to Amar.
And that part was the important one, which Ashutosh should have heard but didn't.
And I totally agree, and am on the same page as you about the rest.
But as LNG as KPji is at the helm, we will not get to see any of that.

If Ashutosh's callous attitude led to Nidhi being endangered, would you say that Nidhi's thoughtless actions have led to Ashutosh's life being endangered too...I think Nidhi herself as admitted to as much...

I think the bottom line here is not man or woman...both need to have equal respect for the institution of marriage...walking out on a marriage, unless under extreme provocation, is not even an option...and publicly airing your differences and allowing third parties to enter and influence the conflict is not exactly a great idea...

If blame had to be apportioned, I would say that both parties are equally guilty...I don't think youth should be offered as an excuse,...if you consider yourself old enough to get married, you jolly well know how to deal with its associated problems...

Despite being a woman, I say this and say this repeatedly...

A woman has to necessarily be more mature than a man if a marriage has to survive...male stupidity and arrogance should not allow a woman to lose sight of perspective...I don't think marriage is a competition on who can be more stupid...women are genetically and socially conditioned to being able to adapt better...and what is giving in a little when the gains are far more in the long run!
