history is witness any king, thief ,killer who seeked redemption it was never because they were caught in the act and that was the only way out...the seeked redemption because at some point it hit them hard due to some incident or person what they are doing is wrong...they had the choice to hide their deeds and go on but they confessed to their sins and thus journey began ...

if ashutosh had not threatened to eat the food mallika would have let nidhi die and still say everything is fair in love ...and the reason she came clean was because all the past incidents however grave ashutosh had beleived her reasonings and so she decided to tell him sections of what she did so that it sounds like confession...her remorse was not that she tried to kill nidhi..her remorse still is that ashutosh is not ready to understand her...all her plans not impulsive or in a fit of rage...but calculated ,premeditated and then executed...this is not a sign of a heartbroken or insane woman but a very cold and cunning woman ...coz for 8 months she has absolutely no remorse or guilt for anything she has done...

redemption does not come from hiding your deeds and playing nice...redemption starts from confessing to your crimes even when you know that if you hide absolutely no one would know about it...that is what the Bible and the scriptures teaches...

mallika has not accepted the gravity of her crime...if she seeks redemption she should go to nidhi and her family tell them everything she did from her bulllying to attempt on her father's life to bankrupting them to trying to kill nidhi twice ...tell them everything and leave upto them their decision...that is the beginning of redemption...

does the woman we see onscreen remotely close to redemption??? my answer is NO...

first a domestic abuse and now a child has made her situation pitiful but nothing else...

the writer keeps on quoting sections of scripture that suits him...Draupadi was a kind hearted woman but she was wise and not a buffoon or idiot...he says she forgave the person who killed her kids...so tell me how many times did she forgive him...did she do that repeatedly for years????has nidhi not done her share of forgiveness already ...

is this not the same draupadi who when humiliated in a court full of people vowed revenge against the kauravas...did not her husbands finally raged a war ????

is this not the same scripture in which Krishna adviced Arjun who could not aim at his loved ones????

instead of taking sections that suits him why cannot he see the larger picture????

how many times did Ram forgive Ravana...his heinous sin being he kidnapped his wife...did he forgive Ravan for it????

once bitten twice shy...for past 8 months with a week or two hiatus occasionally in between mallika comes back with more poisonous bite and we are supposed to embrace her redemption...the meaning of which we need to find in KP ka special dictionary...

you have sentences for criminals depending on the gravity of their crime to give them an opportunity to reform...they are punished for their deeds and that teaches them the right from wrong...

how can mallika be redeemed without being punished ..and punishment does not mean carrying a kid...it means paying the price for the sins she did not jagan...

supporting nidhi or talking nonsense to ashutosh is not a path to redemption ...KP jee please give us women some credibility to be worldly wise not dimwit idiots ready to suck up anything and if you cannot, stop quoting scriptures to justify where there is no justification...

Sun29... I love you so much for bringing out these points!!! I second you on all these views... Please please please, somebody please make KPjee read this post, please...

That Iam, Sajani...and I give all the credit for my children to my mother...if I am a successful professional today and my kids well brought up and pursuing their own dreams, it is all because of her...!

a story with such a weak logic. He doesnt spend enough time for his story and other characters but give lame excuses by twisting puranas to defend M. He forgets Ravan got noticed because he was in Ram's story not vice versa. That's why it is Ramayana and not Ravanayana.

Yes Radhika this is what I have been asking since the beginning...is AShutosh so decisive or weak that he is unable to take a decision to leave Mallika alone. A leopard never changes it's spots. Is your friendship so important that you are ready to wreck your marriage for it.
