My concern is only with the actor.

I havent seen her before, but her acting skills in the first few episodes got me and I am seriously her fan now...

We hate Mallika... that means that actor was that convincing and living into it.
Unfortunately, she got a negative role and in the show world, that becomes a trend.

I hope she gets better chances in future...All the best to her.

QUOTE@ Sujatha.
It is funny he always quotes and twists puranas to defend Mallika. Ravan was only part of Ramayana and he gained significance only because he was in Ram's story. not Vice versa. It is Ramayana and not Ravanayana. He is confused. Sometimes he accepts her as a vamp by comparing her to Ravana and at times defends her as helpless. As he accepted it is only bread and butter for him and no emotional attachment. A good example for what will be the outcome if a person works only for money without passion.for that job. The result is drastic in entertainment industry as it's impact is on the society too.

@Mudra..yes, the actor was very good to start with...and then her trademark eye-rolling and smirks spoilt that too for me...it reduced her to a caricature from a character..

But yes, hope the lady gets a chance to perform a character with a better range next time round!

As an actor MS .Rukshar does a good job. Her illogical presence in the story is the problem. I too wish her the same.

@Radhika...this is the same man who writes brilliant scenes for Ashutosh and Nidhi,,,,their romantic scenes are among the best I have seen on Indian TV...he might have said whatever he did out of frustration but I do not question his passion...it is only his passion for Mallika that confounds me!

A passionate writer should be in love with all his characters. and not biased. On projecting Mallika he always fails to consider how Asutosh' character appears to the viewers.A character can be grey but not vague. If KP does this intentionally are we supposed to read between the lines that A has a weakness for M and he hides it in the name of friendship and humanity. Then it becomes another usual soap. About the brilliant scenes yes they are the reason why I'am still sticking to this. ; It is the same brilliance which makes me anguished why this man is wasting his talents in perversion and on the pretext of being different. Why does he make this plain simple love story appear queer.? Now I strongly believe daily soap is not KP's forte.
