The biggest demon for Ashutosh was lack of own relations... dreaded being loner...
BB brought him up and gave him love and affection... but Ashutosh was never Mathur... legally neither adopted nor given a name...this hurt him the most when BB left him...and when it was the decision to be taken, BB chose to pass on his most beloved house to his unseen grand daughter than Ashutosh...Ashutosh was clinging to that house for emotional security... it is not at all wrong for him to go for a child... hence yesterday's dialogue...'mera khushi..mera armaan... ... ... mera bachcha' ( could not recollect fully)...

This was leading to Nidhi's baby / career track

that may as well lead to... adoption... as the track leads to emotional twists again...and ..kuch toh log kahenge ...and also rises Ashutosh's character ...

In all opening to very good tracks ahead.

Good post. I don't watch movies so don't know about that scene. As for Ashu wanting a child I am not sure whether orphan angle is in his mind. Unless he admits it we may never know. But it his nature to have a well planned life whereas Nidhi is impulsive. No wonder he starts thinking about a family given his age and his love for kids. In any other story this baby track at this juncture( within 2 months) would be ridiculous. But here it is poignant. Ktlk is now in a more relevant and beautiful phase and I enjoy this.I am with Nidhi. She can wait. But for how long? another 5 years? . Then Ashu will be nearing 50 . I also contradict her point that one should be ready to handle the responsibility. One can never be fully prepared to handle motherhood and it's challenges. You learn in the process. It is life long learning. Yes as she said a mother is born only when the baby is born. YOU automatically become responsible .Motherhood certainly makes even the more immature girl responsible. This is a true test for the couple. It is more significant than Mallu factor because the conflict is within the couple with no third party. Let's wait and watch.

true it should not that only niddhi should decide when to have a baby because giving birth to a life i collective effort so basically both should sit and decide what niddhi is again not doing a right thing avoiding a wish of her husband... she could easily make him understand that they can think about baby after a year or so...
