Chapter 6 ( Stuck in the Morgue ).

Hi all sorry for the late posting of my new chapter here it goes enjoy!!!!!

While going to the ward Mallika seems to be quite upset about what she just witness between AshNi. She cannot admit that somebody else can go that much close to Ashutosh , it's as if Ashutosh belongs to her only, her personal property and no one except her can trespass that limit as she obviously notices the tears stains on his shirt. If only she can remove this shirt and burn it.

Mallika: "Ashutosh you have to change this shirt. What will people think when they will see these stains on you"? she told him.

Ashutosh: "Please Mallika I think you are the only one who notices these small things, come on whats the big deal" .

Deep inside himself Ashutosh doesn't really want to remove it , he can still smell Nidhi's shampoo , her perfumes while he was holding her and God knows what he was going through at this time. How much he prevented himself from caressing her, how much he wanted to crush her body tightly against himself even for a second. After making the round to see about the injured patient both Mallika and Ashutosh went to their respective cabin. Ashutosh couldn't stop himself from thinking of Nidhi. He was really feeling a kind of pity to see her in this state. He knew that this girl is special to him, but what it was really he doesn't know and will let time to do the rest. But all he knows is that never he felt something strong like this for someone else. Mallika on the other hand was unable to sit properly on her chair. She has this strong feeling that Nidhi will surely be a barrier between her and Ashutosh as she already saw what Nidhi's presence do to Ashutosh. He knows Ashutosh very well and can see the passion in his eyes whenever he looks at Nidhi. She vowed to herself that she will not let anyone come between Ashu and her. She is thinking about all the possible ways to make Ashu be disappointed with Nidhi and promise to make Nidhi goes through a very hard time here in KGH that will force her either to resign or to be sacked.

That night when Nidhi reached home she couldn't remove all this horrible scenes from her mind, she couldn't stop crying while telling to CV and DB about what happened.DB starts reproaching to CV that whatever bad is happening to Nidhi all is of his fault as he should have listened to Nidhi when she said she doesn't want to be a doctor. But then Nidhi realizes how important and how much trust people do put in doctors when they are in hospitals. Nidhi promised to CV that from now on she will do her best to prove herself to be a good doctor and will always be present to help anyone in need. After greeting goodnight to everyone she went to her room and directly on bed. Alone in her room she start to think about the small scenes between her and Dr Ashutosh. Little by little she could feel that the presence of Dr Ashutosh around her makes her really feel happy. Dr Ashutosh was that kind of her prince charming she always dream of, tall, dark handsome man with enough muscles and well shaped body. Ashutosh was her perfect prince charming but only problem she think was that he is a bit too old for her but that was not the main issue. Thinking back about being in Dr Ashutosh arm for a few seconds made her feel really uncomfortable but a certain pleasure was born also. She was only thinking how she will face him tomorrow at the hospital. Back home Ashutosh also was so tired that he didn't even want to have dinner but HK forced him to have at least a piece of roti with dhaal, after dinner he went directly to his room and laid down on his bed. Tonight also he was thinking about his BB again, about the reason why he left him and about the house. Ashutosh was always sad and furious when he thinks about all these and tried to close his eyes to escape all these thinking ,the sudden memory of Nidhi was again in his thoughts, that brought a smile on his face and finally fell asleep.

The next day at the hospital was still very hectic for all the medical staff as most of the injured patients of yesterday were still hospitalized. Nidhi felt happy that she didn't have to confront Dr Ashutosh as she doesn't really know what would have been their reactions for both but her eyes were still looking for him even from far away. Dr Ashutosh was qite busy too with some urgent surgery. After his surgeries Ashutosh was badly in need for a cup of tea, so he went directly to the cafeteria, how happy he was when he saw Nidhi also there having tea. He ordered his tea and makes his way to the same table where Nidhi was seated.

Ashutosh: "Hi Dr Nidhi" he said in a low voice, would you mind if I sit here?

Nidhi didn't know what to say, thinking about the incident of yesterday she was feeling quite embarrassed and Ashutosh knew it but he was such a professional that he didn't try to make any comments about yesterday. Before she could answer he was already sitting next to her. Her eyes met his and a strange sensation went through her. Ashutosh asked her how the day was with all these patients still under observation. The talk was only professional and nothing more but from time to time both of them were looking to each other with a certain passion in their eyes. After their pause both resume their respective duty. The time went on smoothly for Nidhi for the rest of the day. Just a few more minutes left before she could go home. While walking in the corridor to go to the children's ward Nidhi was stopped by Dr Mallika.

Dr Mallika: " Hello Dr Nidhi, how are you feeling today? Better?"

Nidhi: " Fine thank you Dr Mallika , I'm better now."

Mallika told Nidhi that she should be prepared for these kind of situation if she really wants to become a good doctor. She pintpoints out to her that each and everytime she will be in that kind of situation she should not be going to look for a shoulder to rest and Nidhi knows exactly what she was talking about.

Dr Mallika: " Look Dr Nidhi, Dr Ashutosh is your senior, your boss and your dean and you should by now be knowing how to respect your seniors." " You cannot just go and lay your shoulder on him like this each and everytime that there will be such situation in KGH, please do show some respect after all he is a man and you are much more younger than him so please don't use your charm to attract him towards you, as I won't tolerate it and after all I know Ashutosh very well he won't support you for long as he is unable to conceive a relationship till end he will surely abandon you half way ".

Nidhi was shocked to hear this from Mallika. Nidhi: " Dr Mallika , how could you tell me such a thing, first of all it's not my habbit to go and lay myself on any shoulders, and secondly all your evil thoughts that you have in your mind concerning me and Dr Ashutosh I think it will be better for you to remove it from your head. I cannot imagine how you could really think about such a bad thing for your best friend and lastly for your kind information if ever I want to go near Dr Ashutosh do bear in your mind that even YOU cannot prevent me from doing so, so please from today stop interfering in whatever I'm doing with my life, you have no right to do so". Mallika fumes to hear this from Nidhi and told her that if she ever comes between her and Ashutosh she will have to bear the consequences and at no cost she will let anything happens between Nidhi and Ashutosh. Nidhi told Dr Mallika to do whatever she wants , she doesn't care and turn her back to go to the ward when at her great surprise Ashutosh was standing right next to the door and looked confused. Nidhi blushed awkwardly again under his stare and felt her heart beating strangely. She continued her way without saying anything and was thinking if Ashutosh heard the conversation between her and Mallika. Feeling himself flush also Ashutosh pretends to look at the bundle of document he was holding in his hand, when Nidhi passes next to him he finds himself starring in a daze at this wonderful beauty. He had never noticed her before with such elegance he thoughts. He could smell her perfume ,noticed her long black hair with a hint of blonde here and there and her big fierce brown eyes and those lips melted him right there. He let out a long breath and came back to his senses and find her starring at him in somewhat the same way. Nidhi also snaps back to reality and makes her way to the ward. Ashutosh did hear the last part of the conversation when Nidhi told Mallika that even if she wants to go near him no one can prevent her. This part was echoing in his mind every now and then and was making him chuckling each and every time while thinking about it. He was just wondering if Nidhi also was feeling the same same thing he was feeling for her ,but when given a second thought he realizes that for sure Nidhi won't even think about him as he was much older than her and for girls of her age most probably she should be having a boyfriend. Just then he hears Mallika calling for him, Mallika was looking at both of them with rage and knew that sometning is really cooking in the pot somewhere and this makes her fumes more and more. Ashutosh look at Mallika and ask her what was happening between her and Dr Nidhi as she was looking quite pale. Mallika told Ashutosh that why he always have to give so much care to others and everyone is fine it was only a woman discussion between her and Nidhi, but Ashutosh didn't force Mallika to say more as he knows she was lying because he did overhear little of the conversation. The next day Nidhi didn't see Dr Ashutosh at all , she was told by Dr Rangnath that some specialist in cancer came from America for free surgeries on patients of KGH so may be he was busy with them. But her eyes were still looking for him every now and then. Janky Bhai told Nidhi that till today the body of the small boy who dies 2 days before was still at the morgue, they were unable to contact the mother as she left when she knew that she lost both her husband and son and till now she wasn't back. Nidhi felt her heart shrinking and she decides to go to see him at the morgue for the last time as if tomorrow nobody will come to claim the body as per the hospital rules they will perform his last rituals. She made her way to the morgue and she was surprised to see the door half opened. She pushed it slowly and enter and could see a silhouette far in the slightly lighted room. Upon hearing some footsteps behind his back Ashutosh turn to see who it was and to his great surprise he saw Nidhi. Nidhi was left confused to see him right there.Nidhi: " Sir , what are you doing here? Ashutosh: " Can I ask you the same question Dr Nidhi, are you in any case following me? He said sarcastically. Nidhi: " Oye hello why should I be following you I just heard that till now nobody claim for him that's why I came to see him and anyways it's not my hobby to follow neurosurgeons" all came out just like that without even thinking to whom she was talking, Ashutosh coldn't hold his laugh and burst out starring at her with passion. Ashutosh: " Calm down Dr Nidhi, I was just joking, don't take it personal, I just wanted to change the atmosphere here aren't you afraid to come here alone Dr Nidhi" he continued still looking at her. Nidhi: " Just a little Sir , probably more if it was darker but my BB always told me to be afraid of the living rather than the dead. Living things can harm you while dead things can't, so thinking about it I just came" Ashutosh told her that Janky Bhai told him about the boy that's why he came. But Ashutosh found it exciting to make Nidhi angry as he like to see her pouting and screaming little so he continues on pulling her legs. Ashutosh: " Dr Nidhi I think that you are really scared to come here may be that's why you waited for me to come then you came also so that you won't be alone here with the dead". Nidhi : " I told you Sir, I didn't know you were here and I'm not afraid and I can prove it to you". " How?" Ashutosh ask . Nidhi turned back towards the door and remove the chair which was blocking the door to close completely. Before Ashutosh could protest to tell her not to close the door it was already done. Ashutosh fumes at seing this and shouts out loudly

" Do you know what you did?" he asks angrily.

Nidhi: " Yes, Sir I proved to you that I'm not afraid so I close the door.

Ashutosh: " Dr Nidhi , this door can only be opened from outside that's why I have put the chair to prevent it from closing completely and the key is outside so can you tell me how we are going to get out of here?".

Nidhi: " But Sir, this is stupid why did you leave the key outside?"

Ashutosh: " Dr Nidhi ? Are you telling me that I'm stupid?"

Nidhi: " Sorry Sir but you should admit it was a stupid act to leave the key in the outside lock rather than taking it with you."

Ashutosh couldn't believe this girl, they were stuck here and God knows who will realize they are here to let them out and she was arguing . Nidhi suddenly realize what she did and start sobbing little. It was rather cold inside that why Ashutosh didn't close it completely as he only came to see the boy for a last time and the thermostat regulator was also outside the door so they couldn't even switch it off. Ashutosh ask Nidhi if someone knows she was coming here and she says no and same was for him. Ashutosh ask Nidhi if she has her mobile with her and Nidhi look at her with a naughty smile and tell him " Sir, I think the dean of KGH doesn't allow his medical staff to roam around with their mobile may be you forgot the rule!!!! Ashutosh couldn't believe it she was talking to him like this but this was all natural for her,Nidhi was taking much pleasure in torturing him with her words like this and he knew it. " But Sir , don't you have your mobile with you?" Ashutosh: " No Dr Nidhi the dean said that the rules are for each and every staff of KGH so how could I have mine on me" he said ironically. Even the interphone was not working and by now both of them could feel the cold more and more. Ashutosh was walking around to see any option of how to get out of the room. Both Ashutosh and Nidhi were prowling the confines of the small, dim room to see what they can find. There were a few boxes under the waist-high counter. A small ladder was leaned against one corner and a single wool blanket was folded below the ladder.The temperature was obviously below 50 degrees F by this time with the closed door. Nidhi was shivering and Ashutosh could see her rubbing her hands together. He took the thin blanket and wrapped it around her shoulders and was still roaming around to see a way out. Even Ashutosh now is feeling the cold throughout his veins .Looking back at Nidhi he could see her going through the first stage of Hypothermia as she was becoming so pale and was shivering tremendously. He quickly comes closer to her and tried to hug her just to warm her. Nidhi didn't push him away as she exactly knew why he was doing it and after all there was only one blanket, they momentarily forgot their problems in the enormity of what had just happened. Nidhi ask Ashutosh if he thinks somebody will ever come and find them while sobering. Ashutosh assures her that he really hope so and that sooner or later they will surely look for him and hope that they do it very quickly, still holding Nidhi in his arms, both were acting normal as they know they have no choice rather than sharing this blanket or they will probably be dying of cold. Nidhi shook her head and her hair tickled his chin and makes him chuckle little, She trailed off into the clanking silence then sighed " I'm sorry Sir, it's all my fault ,we are trapped here in this cold room". She trailed off again and this time he half turned her in his arm and tipped her chin up until their eyes met. " Hey" he said softly," It's not all your fault Dr Nidhi, how would you know about the door and anyways it's no use discussing about it now just pray someone come and find us quickly. The air ducts echoed hollowly. The freezing metal bit into Nidhi's hand through the think wool blanket, and her knees were numb from the cold that seeped through her dress. Feeling this Ashutosh pull her closer to him and their bodies were so close that even air couldn't be allowed to pass through.Nidhi was having an uncontrollable shivering. Ashutosh slowly whispers in her ears and Nidhi moans at this and both blushes " Are you feeling better now Doc?" Nidhi couldn't look at him as she was really feeling awkward and just a " Brrr, I'm cold" came out from her mouth and both chuckle. She was having a strong full body shiver and her teeth were shattering and feeling this Ashutosh pulls her again more closer to him. The desire of cuddling her was so immense and Ashutosh was trying to control himself so hardly.Nidhi could feel his rigid body against her and she was thinking about the dream she had one night about being in the arms of her prince charming and as she was developing a urge attraction towards Ashutosh since a few weeks and this closeness of their body was like a dream becoming a reality for her. She closes her eyes and savours each and every moment in his arms. Even Ashutosh was feeling quite the same, by now Ashutosh body was heating Nidhi's and she was feeling this body warmth all throughout her whole body but still shivering. They both sat in a corner of the room and Nidhi grab Ashutosh shirt as if she was afraid that he leaves her, Ashutosh could feel this insecurity of hers and to reassure her that he will stay here with her closes her tightly to him and he cupped her freezing face and couldn't resist putting his lips on hers for a quick kiss to make her feel better and not letting her feel unconscious. Nidhi justcloses her eyes and just automatically take his lower lips also in return and after a few seconds when both realizes their act just pull themselves little apart. They were both taken aback by this sudden reaction but were both in semi-consciousness to really realize what they were doing. Both her hands were clutched tightly on Ashutosh's shirt and her forehead was resting on his chest. Ashutosh was feeling so restless and he couldn't stop himself from caressing her again starting from her waist going upwards her back and finishing with her hands , holding them tightly and with his thumb he start caressing her cheeks with such a softness that Nidhi start to moan with pleasure and straighten her hand to reach his hair and grasp his nape pulling him closer to her. Their breath were caressing each other and they couldn't do anything else than being lost in each other's eyes with such love and passion that didn't have words to be explained.

Nice to see your update after long. And what a fast progression of story in terms of romance. Stuck in the morgue, they're getting physically closer more than they're emotional, this is different from the show. But love to see a new kind of romance. Why did you have to stop at such a point. Hey dear...Fantastic work..nice fiction...your story is moving on at quite a good pace...Ashutosh and Nidhi are very much attracted to each other...It was a treat imagining about their first-hug..and now that they are caught in the morgue and unleashing their love to each other in such a passionate way..hugging each other,kissing each other..I'm sure these romantic moments will make their relation go one step further..they will be more comfirtable with each other now onwards..eagerly waiting to know what happens next !!
