If were the casting director I would have probably gone for Priya Wal who has a tomboyish image or Rati Pandey who has done a chulbuli character. But Kritika is fine in the promos so I am good.

So lets see if she can match up to Zoya. But it is definitely good that she is trying something new rather than the usual youth romance. 😆

SG I thought of her coz she did play the character of a chulbuli doctor and she just was so naughty and gave a tough time to Dr. Modi. 😆 I do not know if you have seen DMG but some of her scenes in DMG are just fantastic and about her being 32. Well age is just a number I seriously find it very difficult to believe she is 32. She looks much younger.

Ronit Roy I am his fan. I do watch Adaalat once in a while and have watched him in Bandini. He is definitely a good actor but I do feel Mohnish is still the best as Dr. Ahmer.

Age is not just a number especially for the actresses of this Indian TV industry.. here, a 20 yrs old can play a mother of two but its hard for a 32 yrs old to play a lead character of a chulbuli doctor who is 24.. it happens when they have to show flashbacks.. plus taking SG as female lead would have been a huge risk when they already have MB as male lead.. we watched DK already so we know he is the apt choice for Dr Ashutosh but those who have no idea abt it, for them KTLK is just a new serial dealing with a mature love story.. I feel, Rajan Shahi needed someone who could be fit to play Dr Nidhi plus has a good fan following too..

Exactly.. and this is what I said to Keva also that MB would have seen a lot in the script..

BTW, Do you know that MB rejected KS and then that role went to RK? Although I am glad it went to KS, I am curious why did MB reject the offer!

Shocking and very strange.. coz that Jai walia's character gave RK all the name and fame..

it could be anything.. dates prob, or not happy with the money he was offered..🤔

btw, one of my fond memories of DK is Marina Khan's hair style.. though it was quite funky 😆 but I heard it was very popular among the school/col going girls at that time.. lets see that Krithika will introduce new fashion trend or not..😳

I agree...I would have chosen Rati Pandey or even Ragini Khanna...I am a huge fan of Priya Wal, love her churbiness...but I do not know how would she be in love scenes...
and on Kritika, she is looking good till date...

Oh god!! U know, I have to confess, I was actually hoping for a boy cut gal...That kinda reflects the tomboyish attitude...In an interview, Marina Khan was telling her hairstyle tale...seems like she went on a vacation before the shooting and in a flick of a moment, she cut her hair...when she came back for shooting the director was shocked...she scolded Marina but now nothing could be done...and then after the shoot, everyone realized that inadvertently, this accident was actually a good thing for the show..it just added to her character...
One thing I didnt like about in the Bday promo was Kritika's dress...That was so not tomboying...Kritika will cover the tomboying aspect with her acting but the director could also add value by giving her right accessories/costume and hairstyle...
