Him taking up PR2 in itself was a huge letdown for me, and then not giving his 100% to Dev, regardless of the story is so off putting.

Same, I don't watch kuch bhi on TV, because it doesn't provide the facility of fast forwarding shit scenes😆 On YT people upload the episode & I watch it from there. (yes it is pirated & unfair to the show & channel but that's what mamta ji deserves)

PR2 is Pavitra Rishta 2

I hadn't watched the first season actually, it wasn't a web show but a TV show starring Sushant. Ekta brought a second season of it on web to make money out of the chaos of SSR's demise. It was expected from her & Ankita, but Shaheer playing the lead really is disappointing for me. Should've left SSR's legacy as Manav untouched IMO

For me personally, none of the cast were as good as they were in S1. Erica at least looked committed but I'd still rate her acting in S1 as superior to this. There was this authenticity to their acting performances in S1 which is completely missing this time. A lot of it looks daily soapish & dramatic which was not the case with S1. Shaheer looks uninterested and unkempt from episode 1. Even before he started shooting for PR, he looked unkempt & zoned out in Kuch Rang. Erica was better but I honestly think some of the clothes she wore were out of character for Sonakshi. And SP just did not have enough screen time and got the worst end of the stick. These three literally used to light up the screen in S1. This also shows how important good writers are for a show. Good writing can make/break actors and shows. That's also one of the biggest reasons why S1 remains superior.

So do writers/actors still come to IF for input, like they used to many years ago?

Don’t they realize how this show is not just a tv show to so many of us?

Dev didn’t even want to give Vicky, his OWN brother a second chance then why Sanjana? Aur koi architect ni bachcha Delhi mein? Even without discussing prior with Sona? It feels like I’m watching a whole new show, with different characters. Not a continuation of a series. Blehhh.

Yes. I understood later PR means Pavitra Rishta.

It's not the same with them...we have attachments with characters, actors,etc. For them it's their job. They don't care mostly. But I have a problem with actors who pretend to care when in reality they don't.

Strangely I didn't hear any reviews about this...kab aaya kab gaya pata bhi nahi chala and they are shooting for the second season!

I think around 8 episodes released last month & the remaining 8 will release after a while. It's like one season split into two from what I understand. Ekta is smart for making it a web series. If it was on TV, it would have been trolled by SSR fans esp if the TRP is low. This is why Ekta is successful. Someone give some brains to Mamta otherwise this PH is becoming bankrupt soon 😆

Ekta is the smartest producer. I actually admire her business tactics. Yes..this production house definitely needs to take some lessons.

Completely agree and have said so in many places. Pathetic money making stunt by Ekta Ankita and Shaheer. I guess he can’t say no to wifey’s best friend /cousin, whatever. Manav was Sushant’s break out role. The least they could have done was to leave it untouched as a mark of respect to his legacy. Cashing in on a dead man’s memory 🤢
