Script bolke kuch hai hi nahi toh kya padhenge 😆 The writing is probably happening on episode by episode basis😆

Haan that's the point. They just did not care enough. I can understand if the show started off great and then became bad but this has been bad fron first episode. And Dev Sona Ishwari haven't been in character in terms of looks or behaviour but they still don't care or went through the motions assuming it might work. Am not saying they should be held solely responsible for this mess but they don't deserve sympathy at least 😆

Most of the ITV shows do not have the script ready. I heard actors are given overview. Script for some 20 odd episodes is given for character practising.

They might have had an idea about Ayush track but I doubt Sanjana track was pre planned. No sympathy for actors for going through this...but just saying that for ITV shows the script is not pre written. Reason why in some other shows (unlike this one) tracks are changed based on the feedback received.

You are right. But my point was, unlike other shows, this was a new season. And they all had a set character sketch in previous seasons. So am sure they must have noticed how they were so out of character right from the beginning. I remember this Sony guy said in an interview that the first 15 episodes of this show gave him goosebumps. This was even before they started shoot so am sure they were given the script of the initial episodes at least and Dev Sona Ishwari were out of character then too. And this child swap kinda twist is also very unlike whatever was shown in S1

Exactly. But dare say it outside this forum. Everyone will pounce on you lecturing how this show is better than some other shows on television. Ghanta better. Other shows, from what I have seen so far, start with a particular concept - stays true to it & interesting for the initial few months at least. They start going off the rails when the original theme got used up but still need to strech it, so they start filling it up with irrelevant rubbish stuffs.

But KRPKAB 3 have been serving that rubbish from day 1. Their main story got exhausted way back in season 1 itself. There was nothing left to explore anymore & so from the very first episode they are serving filler tracks, used only for the purpose of stretching the show. The opening episode looked like that show had been running for some 2-3 years & it was some 700+th episode. That makes it even worse than the other shows in my opinion, if you evaluate this season on the basis of this season only.

Exactly exactly. This season has been bad from episode 1. You can actually count the number of nice scenes. Even they are good only if you view it in isolation

True.

They must've thought that through Ayush track they can come to the main theme of misunderstandings between a couple...a bad idea but they did achieve that. I mean Dev popped pills and they went for marriage counseling. Waha tak bhi thoda bahot theek tha as per me....but Sanjana track didn't serve any purpose. Not once did Sonakshi doubt Dev, Dev didn't stray and there were no major misunderstandings between them coz of the third angle.

In fact Sanjana got her own arc in the show which nobody is interested in. For a couple of episodes the entire story was moving from her POV.

The makers majorly messed up by unnecessarily stretching this track and still continuing to do so.

Not sure why I have been tagged here, alongwith a few others. I do not remember saying anything about Shaheer or payment or anything like that. 🤔🤔 I have no idea about actors' real lives and I have not seen his previous shows. Having said that, with all due respect, doesn't everyone work for payment?

Even the timeline has been inconsistent. Dev and Sonakshi united after 7 years. And they were happy post that. If we were to include that time period plus Shubh's birth plus Dev staying at home time period, it's a minimum of 2 years. And they drifted apart in 1 year and are so unhappy for no reason? And Shubh has grown up so much in that one year but Soha and Golu are the same age as S1. How come not one person in the cast found this weird? You are talking about a couple drifting apart after 10 years but haven't even done basic math on timeline? That's the level of lethargy in this season

Actually the actors are not this attached to the characters or shows or remembers every single details. They shoot so many scenes, shows..... they might have some emotional importance like this was my first show or this show earned me this award etc....but I think it's not really that possible to remember details or character sketches. Especially of something that happened 4 years back. And Erica did KZK in between, Shaheer also did another SP show.... Baccha swap wouldn't look that odd/dramatic to them.

I don't blame them for that much, coz I have seen even viewers dedicatedly justified that track by digging up old newspaper articles of such happenings in real. One article I saw dated back to the 70's😆 They would have justified this Serendipity track too if this hadn't eaten up their Devakshi romance time. Actually some people are still justifying saying Sanju like girls exists & it's showing reality 😆 Bas Erica may quit news ne thoda hila dia hai😆

I agree. I don't think Sanjana track was pre planned. I think they were going to go a different route and took a detour when the new writer came in. Who, BTW yesterday on Twitter said that she isn't the only one responsible for story and track. So there😂
