I was wondering at what point you all would've left the relationship

I probably would've left at the mission dixit baby tbh. That hurt me a lot how he wasn't actually truly listening to sonakshi. (the show handeled that track terribly)

I wouldn't have left at the hospital scene because I am dumb like that and with no prior relationship experience would be prone to stupid decision making

Mission Dixit baby was the worst phase because it was so disrespectful to Sonakshi. Nobody listened to her or heard out her very valid concerns. It was embarassing, traumatic and Dev could see how horrible it was for her. He was so irritated as well!

But at that point he couldn't say anything against his mother and just de-escalated the situation continuously, forcing Sona to just "let it go" or "ignore it".

I have seen S1 completely, may be S2 full or some of it, I’m not sure & S3 from beginning. I cant recall all that happened in S1-2 but after giving one more chance, I would have left. I would have never taken him back after 7 yrs separation & especially what is happening in S3. I would take my 3 kids, file for divorce & seek full custody. Move out in my own place. Not in my maika. I believe in handling my problems on my own, get help with counseling for me & kids.

We all learn from life experiences. I am a lot older & seen enough. In This marriage odds are against them for it to survive. I would have never had another child with him (Shubh).

This is not only dysfunctional & toxic family but marriage. 2 people with not only different family backgrounds but maturity, thinking, values & more. It was doomed b4 it started as Ishvari was always against Sona. If husband can’t support & be on the same team with wife there is no hope.

Just recently Ishvari told mama ji how resentful she was towards Sona the way she talked to her regarding Ayush name changing issue & more. Ishvari is vengeful she can strike at anytime.

Exactly! This marriage was doomed from the start . And it was rushed too because mahaan maa couldn't see mahaan beta in pain .

Ishwari is a horrible mother always to all her kids . She didn't heed to GKB's advice on Neha's wedding to Ranveer and the result was for all to see . Same with Dev's marriage. She practically coerced Sona and her family into accepting the marriage proposal . When she should have thought through practically and explained to her son , what this marriage entails especially to a woman like Sona who is so different from the dixit clan . But her approach was my son likes this toy so let me just get it for him.

With her experience , she should have told her kids , that two people cannot be bound just by love . It requires understanding , adjustments and space too.

I would have left at the first time hospital break up ,it gave the clear cut signal !

In real life if reel I don’t encourage or do bring past in to present and fight over it at any arguments occurs

We can’t change our past , if we live well in “ NOW “ future will be better .

So according to me once I decide to end it , then there is no looking back even no matter what .

I had love marriage ,

Sona could have stayed strong but she went back to him a big drama during engagement !

Dev & Sona they both are lack emotional IQ , who always run to their respective preferred parent for refuge .

First and foremost thing of bringing up a child is to make them able to think about consequences of their action and choices they make in life .

As human beings we came to world alone , we will die alone , we carry the burden of our deeds on earth alone ( for a believer) better be independent 😂

For me Mama’ boy and Baba’s ladli their love was beautifully dangerous from the beginning.

I watch this show for Dev he is my fav character

I am not blaming Dev or Sona , their choice to live with each other and they are still in love

First of all i wouldn't have fallen for dev kind of guy but somehow i would've then after hospital incident not only would've left i would've divorced him and step ahead..yes this is the way i am in my real life my personality little bit straight cut,very practical and strong ,less emotional, i respect my self than anything.

I watch this soap just for fun ,none of the characters r my fav..dev kind of guy i hate from the bottom of my heart..sona is a very weak character which is a big no to me as well..to me she is a weak love seeking puppy..

Better dont say anything abt ishwari..she is a dumb character..so better zip my lip .

For me the most traumatic part of S1 which hurt me as a woman & mother is mission dixit baby. I felt terrible for sona.

I didn’t mind the plot point but the way it was directed was a little jarring. Their night in a resort, the fight, the making up was all good. The issue I had was with sona wanting to meet ‘ma’. I found her exuberance misplaced.

Dev was terrible during the whole ish temple dharna episode. He was terrible in a lot of scenarios be it his birthday, Neha’s divorce etc but this took the cake. Well his way was always to calm things first by making empty promises.

But in all the seasons ish has got her way. Sona could not get pregnant but ish forced them & she ended up having a healthy baby, there were problems with shubh but it all went ok & now she says ved & the kid is slowly adapting to the name & people.

Blue : I personally think that's not possible because it's not only the now that makes the future but the past that makes both the now and the future. I also feel like not bringing up trauma past or present can be like bottling up.

(But again I've never had a partner who threw me out of his house toh lol idk)

Personally I feel like especially in the 7years I would've moved on, if the person is not available who hurt me why keep holding onto the hurt.

Red : actually I found the resort last episode very weird. Dev refused to understand sonakshi's frustration, he was like I am going through same. (Okay what even )

Green : baby planning where. I mean considering it wasn't even a year since Soha met dev sonakshi shoudnt have had shubh. Like rosh said they are emotional idiots mostly.

Hospital incident gave a clear cut statement

Sona knew how obsessive the mother and son relationship from the beginning

Even knowing that she fell in love , she witnessed Maa & Beta weird pyar and other siblings were neglected

Even when Riya said she wanted to join Dev’s office Ishu was not happy .

Ishu is that kind of a Maa who always prefer Boys over girls ...Sona's family is totally opposite they gave both children a chance to flourish .

Knowing all these Sona decided to go back again and again.

Devakshi still love each other and not happy without each other

In that case it is better to forgive each other and live peacefully for the sake of their children at least.

Sona does some thing very unhealthy for relationship that is “ every argument bringing the past stories and fight which she herself said many times past is over no need to talk”

MOCKING & passing crude comments that is more irritating than direct fighting !

That is what Bijoy does on Dev every single time

Then he says last epi “ win or loose end the fight , don’t ruin preset with past “😂

After the fight then the females Sona & Ishu again say

Maa , Sonakshi then hug , cry , pacify each other , patch up with each other... They can even plan to keep Varma out of Soha & Ayush lives . All these happening without Dev’s knowledge he still thinks fight still on because of the pathetic way they keep harmony in marriage 🙄

Marriage counsellor will make them both think that is what they are going to show I guess but then there is a new entry too
