And then opened her profile on a matrimony site without her consent, without even letting her know. It was him first poking his nose in her personal life.

2. Yes, Sonakshi did develop feelings for him but she did not act on those said feelings. She didn't go on proposing Dev. When Dev & Natasha's engagement got fixed, she had planned to go away silently without ever telling Dev how she felt. It was Dev who came to her at the middle of the night to say "I Love You as a man loves a woman". Sonakshi did not go & planfully trap him like Ishwari chose to believe.

3. Sonakshi invited him because Dev asked her to invite him. He promised her he would come, watch her engagement ceremony take place & that would help him to move on. He didn't tell her he was going to drink & create a ruckus & ruin the ceremony. Sonakshi did tell him to stop drinking & go home, but he didn't.

Sonakshi was wrong on many fronts too but she doesn't need to be responsible for Dev's actions as well. Dev was an adult, who acted on his own free will & should take the blames for stuffs he did.

P.S - Oh by the way!

1. Elena & Saurabh did apologize for the fish kand. It was a mistake done by the event planners. Elena & Saurabh came to know about it when they arrived with rest of the shaguns & explained what had happened.

&

2. Sonakshi did want to tell everyone, EVERYONE including Bijoy, what happened regarding the jwellery fiasco because she did not want a new relation to begin on the basis of a lie. But Asha & Dev decided against it. Dev apparently wanted to save Saurabh - Ranita's relation by lying about it & Asha supported him on his choice.

Must be a case of different shows!

green : Honestly exactly. I didn't like how asha stopped sonakshi. in the end , saurabh and ronita did find out the truth. Did the relationship break no. so what was even the point of that.

I think ishuwari has issues but she still redeemable. She has been wrong a lot but she had her reasons.

But dev i can't understand, he's a terribly written character. Which apparently loving husband when knows that his and wife and her family has no house , and he might be the reason for that ,, doesn't check up for 7 years. boy are you for real. Sonakshi could be dead for all he knew in the situation he left her in.

As to the fish land, Elena and Saurabh are not the head of the family, Bijoy is/was. It was his responsibility to ensure that he respected the culture and beliefs of Dixit family. A fish might be auspicious for him but for Dixits family it was an insult no matter how you defend it. And the responsibility of ensuring the respect of Ishwari was in Bijoy’s hands.

Unless you understand what meat means to vegetarians, you will not understand the impact of bringing meat or any such animal products inside the house of such family. It was Bijoy slapping Ishwari. But then again from your perspective Bijoy or Sona are never wrong.

I am glad we are watching 2 different shows.

I am a jain (we don't even eat garlic, onion not even anything made of milk or honey) and i can vouch that a fish in a house by mistake is definately not a slap and saurabh is ladki ka bhai , who has all the responsibilty of the sister's marriage. he apologized.

When I was a child, my cousin stayed with me at my uncles house. She ate eggs in her home. So after she left, my uncle called a priest to sanctify the house. It was considered a sin to talk about meat or even egg in our family. It depends on how you see it.

Saurabh maybe Sona’s brother, but he was not and is not the head of the family. His apology doesn’t mean much to Ishwari’s family. Because the matriarch of Dixit family iwas a staunch religious person. Bijoy insulted first by forcing Dev to have meat dishes for the wedding then by not ensuring that nothing was amiss with the gifts he sent. He should have personally come and apologized just like Maamaji did today.

But then again neither Bijoy nor Dona ever took responsibility for their faults. For them the ego of being perfect is more important than anything or anyone.

Exactly like someone else said. You are watching a completely different show. Bijoy wasn't even in the conversation when the meat dishes menu happened. It was ASHA stopping Elena and Saurabh and Dev interjected (on his own might I add). Noone forced him.

Won't bother replying because you are making stuff up at this point

Erased out rest of the parts, I see😆

Anyway, I did not say Bijoy or Sonakshi was not wrong ever. Unlike Goddeshwari & her Demigod beta, they are human & behave humanly. Why I don't like Bijoy being bashed for not "respecting" his damaad is because the said damaad doesn't shower him with respect all the time either! Different shows it must be because the show I watched/was watching, in that, his damaad not only did not apologize for misbehaving with him & putting his family in jeopardy, but continuously keeps mocking & taunting him even now. As far as my understanding goes, that's not how one should behave with their father in laws, or any elderly person for that matter. Bijoy is the offended party here, not the offensive one.

And I wholeheartedly do agree Sonakshi was wrong on many fronts. Especially for letting the Dixits humiliate her family, her father & then reconciling with the guy who neither apologized to her nor to her father after so thoroughly humiliating both of them. She should have stood her ground & not give in to all those jholi failao manipulations & forgive everything so easily only to be treated the same way again. That's the reason I am not watching this show anymore.

Exactly! He apparently loved her so much but wasn't even bothered to check how is she managing after he (or his brother) threw her whole family out on the street, in bankrupt condition. And after 7 long years when he met her again, he behaved as if she betrayed him & left him. Why? Because she went away after he kicked her out 🤪

And then upon discovering his daughter, he went on & on about how Sonakshi kept him away from his daughter while in reality his Goddeshwari Mummy had sent Sonakshi & his daughter back with a warning to never come back again.

I loved pre-leap Dev, for all his flaws & shortcomings & how realistic he was....but there's no denying that post leap Dev was a mess. And that mess is still continuing till date, after a short break in season 2.

Low key if I also feel a little bad for bijoy because if I were in his position i would feel betrayed that my daughter still loves a man who slapped me, he forgot all that accepted dev. Bijoy is wonderful person definately my fav by faaar.

Close second is gkb

You like GKB 😲 I like how she has grown up & maintained her growth in this season. 😆

But in season 1 she was horrible mann 😆 Till date, I never understood why did she dislike Sonakshi so much.🤔

And I blame her a lot for the way Vicky's character shaped up too. Vicky was good for nothing type guy in the beginning, but GKB turned him into a full fledged villain. And at the end Vicky got the blame of it all & GKB got away scotfree feigning innocence🤔

Apart from her toota foota English, what else did you like about her? 😆

I like Gkb because I am a simp for Alka mogha that's it.😆 lol she was a terrible mother and also not a great SAAS untill the end of season 1.

But I also didn't like how mamaji belittled her at every moment.

I also like how she's unabashedly herself. Doesn't matter if her English is wrong she'll speak it. She's also taken care of ishu and their kids well tbh. They should be grateful which they were to a point.

I like her character growing also..

Alka ji is a great actress no doubt....but I really disliked GKB until season 2 happened.

Though she was a better mother in law than Ishwari, but she was a very poisonous mother who ruined her son's life by directing him towards the wrong path.

I didn't like how Mamaji behaved with Vicky on many instances.... I think that also contributed to how Vicky came to harbour a grudge towards the Dixits. But I believe his behaviour with GKB was justified to a great extent. GKB never listened to him & went around wrecking havoc. I mean..... she went on to burn their house down just so that they could stay in the luxurious Dixit house without bothering that it was Mamaji's home, a home he made with his hard-earned money. Mamaji understood her true nature & that's why disliked her. But he should have genuinely tried to rectify her, make her understand her wrongdoings instead of just mocking her & let go at that. Mamaji was meant to be an wise character, but he was shown to be very weak imo.

GKB's Hinglish was the real entertainer post leap though😆 Alka Ma'am really pulled that off well.
