Yesterday I got happy seeing Shaavi confused. But today seeing your hopes soaring high, I thought I should share some facts here, so that later you will not get disappointed. And it's nothing related to the story and it's merely my guess.
After today's episode I presume most of the combined Devakshi scenes that were shot are over and using BDs for next one month will not be much pleasing to the viewers. Secondly, whatever scenes we thought would be shown much later were shown today and based on whatever Eri-Vidvaan pics shared by Eri or Vidvaan's parents on IG, almost every pics were covered in today's scenes. Thirdly Shaheer & Supriyaji's have finished their shooting sessions and the last day of shooting is 10th October. Fourthly, the trps are out and are on the lowest rates ever in KRPKAB's history and Sony has already started showing the promo of PPK season 2.

So, by seeing all these facts, I have a gut feeling that, Sony have pre-planned everything, will use the trps card this time also andpull off KRPKAB in 2weeks time. So, my advice is not to waste your precious time on these analysis and predictions.

Wow..Never thought of it this way and if we come to think of it you might be right and probably Sony might pull this off by Diwali as it coincides with the 2 week time frame you have mentioned and the Diwali celebration might be the last scene. Also with Shaheer & Supriya Ji not there I do not know what else can they show apart from the Bose family, so ultimately your prediction might be true, probably the only thing is that when Sony showed the promo for this season they mentioned it as six weeks so I guess TRP was never a consideration probably as they showed in SBS segments it is back only because Sony did not have any show for the time slot.

Grace, i have reached a point that it wouldn't matter much to me even if they pulled the plug on this series next week. 😃 . When the series ended originally, my gripe was none of the faults, flaws and failures regarding Sonakshi was shown, nor was her admitting even once of how great Dev was. But she did that in today's episode. And whatever episodes they have shown till now are good enough for me to know that I was not wrong in my previous analysis. That my moral compass or my understanding is not skewed. That is more important to me than any series. It is about my heart and knowing that I am not wrong to say Sonakshi is very wrong. That she in her haste committed blunders. That she needs to retrospect and make amends for her doings. And with what they are showing, I don't think I am wrong. And that is all I need. 😃

Shaavi, I too will be very happy if they pulled the plug on this one right now bcos I won't have to watch my poor Shaheer in this role, constantly corrected, judged, 'guided', scolded and put down by the two women who he always respected and loved more than his life.
Somehow, I am not happy with THE SPEECH at all. It was just not enuff and a woman who cannot show gratitude to her partner durign private conversation but has time to romance does not mean a word spouting this stuff in public. A simple thank you for everything you do when the two of them are alone would have worked fare better (for me at least). I have given up hope that she will actually admit she was wrong anytime.

Lakshmi, you said this somewhere right? "Also taking Subh to hospital with nanny wouldn't have looked sensible to Iswari and to me even because that nanny is not at all committed to her duty . Subh is a five months baby who should not be taken out anywhere especially to a hospital. But Dev is Dev. Once he decides something he won't change unless Sonakshi compels him to change."

See if ISwhari had been home, Dev taking Shubh to hosp was stupid but he sent Ishu to school with GOlu, right? No one was home so he said he doesn't want to leave Shubh with a brand new nanny at home alone, which is very sensible indeed. It was Ishwari as usual called SOna and conveniently forgot to tell her that Shubh wud have been ALONE at home with the Nanny.

Here is my question and I wud love to know everyone's opinions on it: Just imagine this scene: Dev, Sona, Soha and Shubh are all in the car. Sona asks driver to stop bcos she wants to get veggies. She goes out and buys veggies. As she is returning, Dev sniggers and comments to Soha and Shubh, 'Dekho, Mamma bhajiwali ban gayi'. Or take it a bit further Sona is bathing Shubh and let's say DEv says (I can;t imagine the guy ever saying this, but still) "Dekho, mamma aayah ban gayi".
What is your initial reaction to a scene like this, IF it appears in the show?? I think you get where I am going with this? Who is the blazes is writing dialogues fr this show nowadays?? They are asinine, at best.

NO, I agree its just a harmless joke, BUT if it was DEV who said it, would we not have a whole uproar abt women's rights and putting down women and asking if a woman buys veggies for her family does she become bhajiwali and all?? I wud have surely said that. BUT I wud not make a comment like this either.

So do men and women have diff rights? Isn't that what all feminists are fighting against? That men and women have equal rights? So then this show is not feminist or progressive, right??

Firstly why should Iswari accompany Golu? He can go with the driver or his grandmother RR can go with him. What will Mamaji do except giving Bhashan to Iswari? Taking Subh to hospital is wrong. Rather Dev should have asked Iswari to take Subh with Nanny to school and come back. What Iswari said or did is not at all wrong . I stand by my word.

Mukesh Ambani should have winded up his business when his children were born to let Nita Ambani flourish in her various fields of interest. Sachin Tandulkar should have retired earlier ,his wife Anjali is a doctor know? To nourish his son Arjun he should have been a house husband. Sharukh Khan should have announced he is quitting movies, when Abram was born to let Gauri Khan pursue her interior designing. Seriously our great writer and makers are sending the message to all the achievers, male to put a full stop to their ever flourishing professions and let their counter part reign supreme. The great role model heroine highlighted her husband's sacrifice on the stage without mentioning how demanding it is to sit idle for a business professional like Dev who is used to take up challenges and be successful in his endeavour. If the same thing happened to Mahan Sonakshi she would have become mad with fury. Will she be able to stay inactive and idle? Never. And our loyal fans would have teared apart Dev for curbing her spirit and zeal. But now most of them are sadistically happy to see Dev sitting with the baby and his gorgeous wife grabbing the lime light.
On a side note I did not enjoy Dev with the baby outside Sonakshi's cabin while the lady gets immersed in her so called job work. Why isn't Dev mobbed by his employees of his company? Did he already loose his identity there?

Lakshmi, this I agree. Ishwari shld have taken Shubh to school with Nanny for help but this woman will never take on anything no. What I was trying to say is that DEV had no choice in the matter but ISHWARI shld have volunteered to do something (like u suggested) instead of blaming Dev for everything. I think leaving a baby alone with new nanny is not done but DEv could not avoid the hosp visit so that leaves Ishwari only. Mama, Mami I thought were not there as usual. They had gone to visit Nikki and Lakshya on that far off planet on which they apparently live bcos I can;t see them anywhere here.
"On a side note I did not enjoy Dev with the baby outside Sonakshi's cabin while the lady gets immersed in her so called job work. Why isn't Dev mobbed by his employees of his company? Did he already loose his identity there?"

Exactly what I was thinking too. They still work in the same office no?? So first of all, why can;t they both just have a room made for the baby in the office and hire a nanny and both of them can keep an eye on the baby there only. Why shld either of them quit?? So many offices have nurseries now for women employees who need to bring their babies in to work place.

I hated that whole cute papa, perfect Daddy bit. It was quite sickening. Reducing some woman to housewife or mother is not right and neither is reducing a man to house husband or cute papa.

Jalk, Lakshmi, what you have said is valid and that is what the makers are showing. They are using sarcasm and irony to point out the flaws of society. A while ago there was discussion about women empowerment, feminism and gender equality. While discussing that one of the things mentioned was pseudo feminism. Most of the people mistake the meaning of feminism and gender equality. Without truly understanding what it truly means, they just go on about how femalesare being oppressed, that they are not given their due. Like in yesterday's speech, Sonakshi says "Dev sacrificed everything, his career, to take care of my children. Most of the time we read that mother took a step back in her career to take care of the kids.

Here the real question comes. Why does a woman consider her giving up her career to take care of the children and family as sacrifice. From my perspective, it is not at all a sacrifice, but a compromise. In the analysis thread, I had written about biological advantage. When we as females talk about gender equality, are we ready to give up anything that society gives us based on the gender. Especially the child. When there is a custody battle of minor and both the father and mother are capable and want the children, the legal system automatically awards the children to the mother. The reason given is that is nature's intended way, that mothers make better parents. The bond between mother and child is considered stronger than the bond between the father and the child. Even the media, movies aggrandize the role of a mother and the act of breastfeeding.

What the makers are asking the females is are you guys ready to accept a secondary place in your children's lives. If not, why the constant cribbing that you are not able to fulfill your dreams. Through Sonakshi they are saying that you have to lose something. You can't have it all and win it all. They are trying to show the mindset of most females and the hypocrisy of the way they look at things. It is also a mirror to society as a whole that respect what a female does in family, realize that it is not an easy task to care for a child 24/7. It is also like any job demanding. Do not put down a homemaker as someone who has not accomplished anything. That taking care of the child is both a mother and father's job. Each of you take turns, compromise, give up a little bit of yourself so that both don't feel like you have lost. That way both man and woman can truly support each other and be there for one another. It is about balance and harmony.

Sorry for the long rant. This is not intended to hurt anyone. 😃

Shaavi, if u are right, then yes, they are making a very valid point. I dearly hope you are right.
I am tired of people saying talking as if taking care of kids is a burden. In my case, my son is the biggest blessing I have (all mothers will tell you the same) adn taking care of him, yes by giving up my career for a while, is the most sensible decision I made in my life. Of course, others have some other needs or compulsions even so everyone can't give up completely- they balance both, that also works perfectly fine. IN fact, I still work from home bcos I WANT to spend more time with my kid NOT bcos he needs me. Most times, he will be very happy if I get lost :)) Poor fellow!
Be it man or woman, taking care of a child enables you to learn some skills that help in every single facet of life. My confidence levels, my self belief, my ability to tackle emergencies all improves by miles just bcos I was sole parent for my very, very hyperactive baby. I woudl not give it up for anything. PLus today I have a bond with him that will stand the test of time.

I do tell all my younger cousins to please NOT give up career but also to please NOT give up being with your child because THEY (not the kids) will miss out also on sooo much. Kids are far more resilient than us. They will adapt to other caretakers but can we Moms let that go?? I can't.
