In the first few episodes of the initial marriage phase, Dev tells Sonakshi that since she has come to IN, she has only been focused on winning the "best bahu title" and also tells that she never even tried to win the "best wife" title. She is proving his words to be true. 😆 😆

And that is why for me the real fun starts from monday when she will have to face society.

Good to see you understand the fact. Dev is passionate about his profession. When he realised Sonakshi would never feel happy staying at home though she says she will,he made his decision.

Lakshmi, as you know one of my favorite book is pride and Prejudice. And I feel it is DDs inspiration too and see KRPKAB is a modern Indianized version of P&P. In the book too Elizabeth is highly prejudiced against Darcy. When he confesses his love to her, she rejects it and chides him for his pride. Later he gives her a letter. In the book, it is mentioned that Elizabeth reads it multiple times before accepting the truth written in that letter about her sister and her family as well as about Mr. Wickham. Even with that letter she still doubts him when she sees his behavior in Pemberly. When she gets the letter about Lydia eloping with Wickham, she thinks that Darcy is lost to her for ever. Even towards the end when he comes to Longbourn with Bingley, but doesn't talk to her, she mistakes his actions and kind of gets angry both at his silence and her own feelings. She feels that he no longer loves her. When Catherine De Bourgh comes to her home and has that conversation too, she cannot really tell her that Darcy did love her. After that conversation, she once again is not sure of what Darcy's reaction is. But when he does come and they get the opportunity, Elizabeth is the first one to confess her thanks, that in turn pushes Darcy to renew his proposal which Elizabeth accepts this time. Mr. Bennet agrees to Darcy when the later asks his approval, but is still skeptical. Only when Elizabeth explains everything completely is when Mr. Bennet agrees. The help that Darcy gave Lydia is the last nail on the coffin that convinces of both Elizabeth and Darcy's love and sincerity.

I see KRPKAB in a similar light. Dev is now near the final chapters, like where Darcy gives his ok for Jane and Bingley's marriage. Maybe this is the reason why I am very optimistic that the makers will show Sonakshi's realization and admission of the same in front of everyone. 😃
