@narshi, we don't know what was it that you wrote which you then edited out at @shaavi's request. If it was offensive, thank you for removing that. However, you call another member's thought irrelevant. If you choose to make such a comment, we request that you qualify it with examples. This applies to members, characters and the story makers. To quote the rule:

4. BASHING OR PERSONAL INSULTS OF OTHER MEMBERS

This means we accept other people's viewpoints with respect, and don't call them names for not agreeing with us. Either we continue the argument calmly, supported by examples from the show, or we respectfully agree to disagree and leave that discussion alone.

@narshi, @shaavi - please do not make it a battle of the last word. This is an analysis thread. Analyse, say your view point and let others think about it. Saying the same thing again and again will not make much of a difference

@all - please step back for a minute. Are you pitting one character against the other? To what end? If a discussion ends in agreeing to disagree it's not very productive. We are glad we tolerate differing viewpoints. However, the aim on this thread is not to try and influence other person's view point. In life or on the story. Conflict and debate is a good thing. So long as it's leading us somewhere. It's hard to remain emotionally invested in our adorable leads. Try and come to a conclusion rather than wanting to simply end the debate. What say? To quote

3. Bashing the characters, or pitting them against one another. If you think either the Dixits or the Boses are entirely right, and the other entirely to blame, this is not the thread for you.

The problem continues to be washing the laundry in public and having all your priorities wrong.

First things first... Golu is going through trauma himself. The only one who recognises it is another 6 year old child who was physically hurt less than 24 hours ago. Both of them are left to their own devices. They come an hour late... Atleast Ishwari was worried... I presume mamaji was sat in the bhad sipping tea and Elena was busy doing whatever it is that she does... mami must be mopping somewhere..😡

Dev & Sona make such a great team when they stop and listen to each other. They would have paid attention to the kids there and then... priorities guys... priorities!

And now the Boses... The story continues to be that they are so busy indulging themselves in the small cute pleasures of their lives that they have no time to check on their own daughter (who looked visibly worried when she visited them last). I love that the makers keep highlighting the background that is the cause of Sonakshi's need to remain all strung up.

Sonakshi hates it that Dev is meddling with her professional life. But it's because she is letting him do that. First it was the School head and now it's her sexist staff (Another thumbs up from me to the makers for subtly highlighting the bias that resides in our society). Dev already dismissed them from work a few weeks back and Sona set an example by letting him do that. She needs to step back. Reschedule the less important work... Delegate what she can... Because, right now they have made a total jokers out of themselves. Just get through this one Sonakshi and talk to him...

Even after all that, she actually made complete sense when she spoke to Dev in the living room after sending away the interior decorators. But she should have left with clear action points and agreements. They just left it all hanging in the air. 😕

Dev is also saying all the wrong things... Why does he have to make it her office... Just make it an office (This was actually my gripe in S1.. why did Dr Bose not have a designated working area.. she was here there and everywhere!). Not that either of you pays much attention to the kids when you are home (your daughter and foster son were an hour late from school today!). But how about you guys divide the days on who works from home on what day? Your job can be done from home... Sonakshi does not feel hers can... So she can perhaps pick the times to see clients when you are in charge of child care? The problem is the original agenda has been side tracked. It started with, I need to keep you and Soha safe. And it's ended in, I want to see you around me all.the.time.

It's cute that Ishwari is demonstrating that working from home can be done... However, everyone (except Riya and mamaji!) seems to be missing the point that Sonakshi does not want to meet people in her home. And she has said it very clearly now. It's not to say that Sonakshi's meddling in Dev's life has not happened. My issue like I said before, is with the public nature of dealing with it.

The dresses gesture is so sweet... But I guess because he is interfering with office, she thinks, "So now I have to wear what everyone else picks for me". Dev, sweety, give her that killer back and head massage... Trust me, she will go weak in her knees... Because from what I can tell, this started with "you don't show me the love" to "I want to care for you"... The highlight for me was he involved the whole family in picking the dresses.. i.e. he spoke his love language in a manner that appeals to Sonakshi... 👏

PS: You guys don't need me to tell you why I think Golu's choice was rejected... do you? 🤬

DQ, I did not bash anyone. Please read my posts. But I was the one attacked and called names. . And sorry. I do not like someone calling me names like immature or not intelligent etc. all I did was point that out. So. Is it ok for others to attack me, just because I have a different point of view. That I say Sonakshi is intrusive and not just opinionated person makes what I wrote irrelevant. So as long as one supports Sonakshi or gives her benefit of doubt or says she may be wrong, they can bash any member. So it is ok for other members to attack me and I am not supposed to write. None of my posts have been disrespectful towards anyone. I write them and make double sure of it. Where I am only referring to the reel characters and not the real people. Yet I am targeted. And that is considered ok because one who cannot understand or support Sonakshi more is not someone who understands better. I did not start it. And also have been respectful towards anybody and everybody. I am this and will continue to be this.
