It was another amazing episode today. I loved Ishwari's dialogue regarding "mistakes". From that perspective both Dev and Ishwari have learnt from their past errors and are doing the right thing. But Sonakshi hasn't really learnt anything. She behaved the same as she did during their initial marriage phase. And even tried to justify her actions!! 😆 . The other thing was Dev's words towards his mom in the interview. If in the first award function in season 1, he attributed even his hard work to his mother, this time he dedicated his success not only to all members of his family, but kept his hard efforts to himself and his employees. I also loved that both Dev and Ishwari broke that bond of "ehsaan" that bound them for so long. Finally both feel that they have paid their debt and are free of it going forward.

I also liked the flute music insert in those places which kind of indicated what was the true hidden feelings and thoughts running in the mind of that person. Like when Elena talked about her love to Vickky and expectations from him. What was very interesting though was where RR wanted to go with Vickky and he didn't want his mother to have any struggles at this time of her life. But he expected Elena to come with him taking Golu too. And she stayed back to let him learn his lesson. Sonakshi who usually spoke of supporting truth today wanted to support lies, while Elena who was shown not to say anything against Vickky, side with the truth. I also liked the way they showed Vickky leaving the house. His first turn was towards his father who he feels let him down, while also realizing that he is responsible for his fathers' bowed head. His look to Elena saying "see this is all because of you. If you hadn't opened your mouth we could still be together, as family. I should have been your top priority, not your sister or that so called brother of mine. All I ever wanted was to be in a place where I could give you everything that you deserve. I want what your sister has for you. What Suhana has for Golu. Why couldn't you understand such a simple thing". His final glance towards his mother as if saying "sorry, I failed you. All you ever wanted was to see me as a big man equivalent to Dev. But now you have live without me. I couldn't get you that position that you deserve. I should have been the one in Dev's place today, not him. He doesn't deserve it, I do. And the Dixits so easily forgot all our ehsaan and are talking about right and wrong. I will not forgive or forget them for this".

Last but not least the minor star of today's episode was RR. She stole the show with her pain and heartbreak. That realization of what she has done and where she has led her son. I saw a maami who is shattered today by her own greed. All her blind beliefs gone and understanding the true meaning of family. But it was a little late. The milk was already spilled and the seed of desire for riches without working hard for it has already grown into a huge tree. The way she is being shown, I have a feeling that they will show her getting sick. Last year around mid August, Ishwari became hospitalized due to sleeping pills overdose leading to Dev and Sonakshi's first break up. My guess is maami will be in a similar condition resulting in her being taken to hospital. I am not saying that she will overdose on pills. But it will probably be due to her diet, her dizziness resulting in deteriorating health condition. Probably Sonakshi will become her nutritionist just like how she was for Ishwari and will be forced to eat the food devoid of the ghee and sugar she loves.

In regards to Dev and Sonakshi's interaction, I feel Sonakshi isn't scared "of" him, she is scared "for" him. In the Sonakshi Ritvick engagement episode, when he comes in front of her drunk and tries to make a joke and says "do I look scary, everyone is running away from me". She replies that "she is not scared "of' him, but scared "for" him. And that is exactly what she is feeling now. She can handle any shade of Dev, but not this vulnerability. She is realizing the impact of her actions and the last 7 years on his life. And the power he has given her. She is getting the full picture of what she means to him.

P.S: Did they edit Vickky's monologue in office to remove the part where he talked of how Dev didn't thank him in the press conference and wondered if Dev knew the truth.

Just penned down some of my thoughts. Not intended to hurt anyone.

Can I just take a moment here to talk about how amazing this show actually is. There are very few shows that really get us to reflect on our relationships and our interactions with others. This show isn't perfect but there is so much depth the writers incorporate into the show. Lines like that just blow me away!

Wow !! Wat a visphodak episode it was !! Totally luvd it. Dev stole the show today. It was a total Dev-icious episode. Shaheer proved again that Dev is safe in his hands.
Exposure of Vicky was so daammnn brilliant which showed how shrewd was Dev as a businessman . He was playing with Vicky but didn felt satisfied bcoz of his opponent's incompetence. Silly Vicky. Learn something @ least now. There's no short cut to success . Vicky chose the wrong opponent n got busted . Dev is such a man who can do anything for his family & for his luvd ones. Vicky nt only damaged his personal life but also tried to harm his proffessional life too. No looking bak for Dev ..no emotional black mailing. Dev was absolutely right too n he did the right thing..throwing Vicky out of their life. Good riddance !!
Elena too did her bit. It might b really hard for her as this truth may hurt her for a while but if she go on with that lie, it may hurt her for the rest of her life. I felt bad for Golu. Poor boy !

I donno y but I liked GKB- Vicky emotional scene. Both of them acted really well . GKB understood her mistakes too as she didn tried to bring Vicky to the right path , instead motivated him for all his wrong doings.

I was bit surprised as y Dev didn take Sonakshi also with him for his product launch bcoz she too a successful entrepreneur n ofcourse his better half but I felt good after hearing his addressing speech. He gav prime importance to his mom , then daughter , sisters , family , last but nt least his Sona. It was indeed brilliant . I liked him calling his daughter Soha. Second time I'm noticing this , ( first was wen Dev opened his heart out to Sona after drinking mamiji's "truth digging tab juice " & he asked sona that if they can b bak as a happy family ..mein , tum , Soha ..humara apna ghar ..kitna beautiful hogaa ) otherwise he mentions her as Suhana but Sonakshi always calls her Soha. Vicky was n't mentioned there n GKB cud smell the aftermath . Payback time !!!

Dev Sona scenes too 're brilliantly captured , with a very caring n possessive Dev n a shivering Sona. Dev, handle with care ..she's too fragile 😆 Dev got into Shaheer literally . Sonakshi was really got scared seeing a Dev who didn want anything coming in bet them. He won't survive losing her again hence he can't afford anything which may harm their relationship. Tough times ahead , Sona but deal with him wisely , there can't b anyone more or as caring , loving n understanding as Dev . But keep this in mind..u'r guy ..he's a difficult man to deal with 😃

Btw, Dev's look is bak to his season 1 look.. dashing ! 👍🏼 Precap... Ohh Noo Dev...nt again. But I'm luving it.. bcoz v know Sona won't listen to Dev that easily 😛

Wow! What an episode! I am not saying it was a good or bad one, but unexpected one for sure.
Vickky's exposure probably was one of the most awaited track. Most of us felt that DevaKshi will reunite after his exposure. Well, CVS reunited DevaKshi without even once mentioning eviction. Which was surprising as eviction was 'the big ' reason behind separation.
DevaKshi reunion meant that they looked past each other's flaws and mistakes and accepted the fact that they loved each other despite what happened seven years ago.
I am pretty sure that viewers were still hoping for DevaKshi's emotional breakdown after the exposure.
Truth about the eviction meant that they let Vickky manipulate them. Vickky's manipulation was not a sole reason behind their separation but yes it was like 'final nail in the coffin'. Vickky was able to play with their emotions because they were weak and not capable of trusting each other's love.
I thought Vickky's exposure meant realisation for DevaKshi, how they were not strong enough 7 years ago. We were not expecting anything unusual as its the way how story unfolds in other serials.

Well, first of all how come Dev know about Vickky's role in Bose family's eviction? Who told him?
Makers cleverly used this huge revelation to shape up their storyline, 'naye rang'. DevaKshi had different reaction to the revelation, instead of heart wrenching moments we are getting DevaKshi drifting apart moments. It shows that our reaction to any situation is hugely influenced by our present circumstances.
Dev's realisation is similar to what I've mentioned above. He felt that someone dared to break their relationship before, 'it happened once and I can't let it happen again'. 'I will eliminate all possible factors that might come between me and Sonakshi'. He is scared, he is fearful and cannot trust anyone or anything when it comes to Sonakshi. His reaction is deeply embedded with his stress response system which he has adapted due to his childhood trauma. I guess it will be Sonakshi who will come in between him and Sonakshi, its ironic because he cannot eliminate this factor. Well lets see how story unfolds.

I have given up understanding Sonakshi, she is struggling to connect with her beloved husband's emotions. Maybe that's what makers are trying to portray. Her decision to hide truth meant that Dev now knows that she won't share everything.
I hope she'll reach out to him, comfort him and reassure him that she is 'his Sonakshi'.
Dev is voicing out what he wants and doesn't want, he is being irrational but he is communicating with Sona. Wish Sona would be more empathetic, like she is with other people around her'. Wish she would first address his fears in gentle and caring ways. Dev doesn't need someone to tell him that his ways are wrong, that won't work. He wants Sona to listen to him, and reassure him that she loves him and she is there for him.
Then only he will have mind setting to understand her POV.

PS loved Ishwari.

Expressing my POV. No offence intended.

You are so right on that last part...I think the 7 years of not being with Sona and the side effects are now bubbling over for Dev. The goons incident I think made him snap and I don't think Sona realizes the impact she has in him or the level of need and fear that are consuming him. She has no idea how much power she really has over him. So much so that one wrong step and she has the ability to break him. I think after tomorrow she needs to figure out an action plan for her husband. Save him from himself

This so much!

Problem right now is that Sona can't convince Dev that his ways are wrong because he's seen "her ways" just validate his fears further. Earlier Sona made it an issue about trust and at that point it was more about her not being able to control her circumstances. Now it almost is an issue of trust that he can't trust she will protect their life together.

It all roots back to his traumatic childhood and his fears of abandonment. Like you said in doing all this he's pushing Sona away. I guess the question is this time will Sona stay and help him work through his fears step by step? Or will he have to lose her to realize that he can't hold on so tight. Admittedly the former would be more satisfying to me as a reflection of love between then. The latter brings the kind of insecurity into the relationship that I don't believe would be truly healthy in a lasting relationship.

Yes... and unfortunately such issues in real life are often not understood easily.I mean as viewers..we see everything but Sonakshi the character doesn't.How the hell is she supposed to know that Dev is not doing all this deliberately, his fear is making him do all this.He is not in a right state of mind.He is not in a state to understand that he is doing wrong. Sonakshi though knows that the bus incident has affected Dev a lot but not able to understand that why he is not able to let go of that fear.

But i am glad that she is noticing the changes in Dev's behavior and hopefully will understand the true reason behind it and will help Dev to recover .

If anyone almost succeeds in bringing down our hard earned reputation and causes damage to our business it really is scary. Business is a profession that takes years to build up the goodwill and maintain the success rate. It is not like other professions where we don't have this much stress and responsibility towards the decisions we make and the responsibility we bear towards others who work for us.It takes only a minute to smash the goodwill that leads to disaster for us and for every one who work for us.
Vicky's plan if it succeeds will crush the empire Dev Dixit so carefully built up with grit, determination and hard work. He said yesterday in no uncertain terms that it would have been a disaster for him had he not become alert in right time by launching his new app prior to avert the damage.

Iswari understood the extent of what Vicky tried to do to Dev and to their family. She finally realised it is Dev's right to deal with Vicky as it is his hard earned reputation that faced the onslaught of Vicky's fraud. But Sonakshi? I wonder if she understood what would have happened to Iswari communications in general and its owner in particular. I know how success or failure in a venture effects business families . Sometimes the effect will be drastic, it strikes our morale,it almost makes us worthless and unwanted . It really takes a long time before we bounce back to our ownself mentally and physically.

The wife will face the heat if such thing happens. From every corner. It is she who will bear the brunt of her husband's disturbed situation. It is not easy to cope up with it. Sonakshi should have understood how fortunate they are to get saved at the last moment. How smart Dev is in standing up to the challenge he faced. She should have showered him with her love and applause.

No. She was like a lifeless statue. Uneffected by what is happening around. Only time she is coming to senses is to stop Mamaji from slapping Vicky. She should have joined him and slapped him further. Shouldn't she ask him why he did what he did despite her warning?

God! Sonakshi is making Dev scared . His fear and insecurities of losing her again is making him take drastic decisions as shown in pre cap. As always..I pray God save Dev Dixit.

PS: My husband is in business. We faced it all. That is why Sonakshi looked wierd for me.

Ms. Bose or Mrs. Dev Dixit. Take a pick". It is not about him losing Sonakshi, but the other way around. Depending on her choice he will keep pushing her to take responsibility of their relationship. By this he is asking her "are you going to abandon me again citing your independence or will you keep your promise of fighting the world for me?". My guess is this time it will be Sonakshi who will stand at the crossroads where once Dev stood. He is taking her to that discussion which started their disassociation. The "hame alag hona hoga" dialogue in the hospital which caused them to kind of try to go separate ways.

Agree with you. Sorry I should have used word 'normalising' instead of validating'. Its Social Work term, putting Dev's circumstances in perspective, being non-judgmental, ensuring he is heard and supported.
I will edit it. Thank you for pointing it out.
