Another emotional onslaught and my already sleepless eyes have swollen more with all the crying..dammit where were these creative team hiding all these days..needless to say so far this week episodes are going to be in my treasured chest along with those memorable initial days❤️
The episode continues with our precap and am really so happy Dev's past was left to unravel slowly and steadily and not done in one episode because 7 years is not a small gap to cover in a single leap whereas Sona's major chunk of past was luckily savored in the form of receipts and pics for Dev to caress and to salvage atleast a part of his guilt!! Oh the dam starts cracking here😭
Sona's confidence aboit Dev being a dutiful son and brother comes crashing with Elena's confession and the reality of his darkness slowly starts to sink in. After all Dev didn't loose just her love, he has lost his soul after she left
What followed next is absolute beauty❤️ This new determined Sona is not going to leave her love to loathe in guilt anymore and it proved when she engulfed him into that consoling hug to diminish his pain, who was miserably caressing those scan pics of Suhana. Dev is trying to relive all Sona's pain along with the guilt of neglecting his own family and there will be no way one can attain normalcy unless he can forgive himself for the events before anyone does. That forgiveness will be attained only with the help of the comforting companion in the form of Sona and the story moves on beautifully in that direction from now on👏 CVs you are seriously setting your standards high, please don't spoil me😳
A wonderful parallel shown where Ishwari requests Boses to send Sona to " her...their" house and here Sona informing Dev that she wish to stay with "him ...them". These scenes are the continuation of yesterday's Ishwari's thought process about how these generation thinks and acts and now she is aligned with Sona's thought proces as well. Sona's decision is the continuation of unravelling Dev's past and freeing him in the process. The wrongs that happened in Dev's life due to her absence will be made right only with her presence in his life again!! Brilliant Sona..just brilliant 👏 Any guy should be lucky to have you !!
The next scene just broke my everything and I literally sat on the floor to control my sobs which was flowly more freely to the extend of masking the scene I was watching. Dev and Sona comes to seek blessings from Boses before they leave to live "their" life.
Bijoy Bijoy Bijoy 🤗I so wish my dad was near me this very instance, the pain with which he hugged those toys and blabbering with Asha that anyone can go anywhere but he will never give these brought back some beautiful but tearful memories for me! The reality that one day daughter have to leave but the heart which doesn't want to let her expose to the same pain in the unknowing future is beautifully portrayed by the actor who plays Bijoy👏 he just won my heart again today 🤗. When whole family trembles not knowing how to ease him , makers very cleverly break the ice with Suhana saying " Papa you should become best papa like Daadu..ok". What followed next is what I want to remember for rest of De-joy bonding . Dev saying " I can never become like your Daadu coz he is the best...now I know why you hate me " and Bijoy " Even your papa is best " soaked my heart with such warmth that I can't explain in words!! It even made me forgive Dev for those little digs he made about Bijoy with Sona earlier.
The hug initiated by Bijoy which was immediately captured and savored by Dev was the highlight of today's episode for me. The gratitute with which Dev reciprocates was so beautifully portrayed by Shaheer in that scene even if its for seconds..Don't miss it guys❤️
For the second time Dev and Sona enters IN following the Grahapravesh ritual but this time they are being welcomed by "her friend cum maa" and not "Dev's mother" promising us a positive journey of Mrs. Sonakshi Dixit. Sona's very answer to Ex-GKB is the proof that this time its going to be different😉. Making Suhana as both part Dixits and Boses is nice creative touch!!

Ok I just realised I missed the much debatable "not divorced" in my post. Frankly I believe this is a last minute hogwash attempt by CVs to get Sona in IN because of the conservative mentality of Indian audiences about "live-in" , because the story can't move without making Sona live with Dev in IN and it cant be done without remarriage so why not "never divorced" at all😆. I agree it does makes us question about the "Exes" and second marriage talks thrown at us every episode but am hoping there must be some hand of GKB and her red in this which CVs will justify later. Frankly with the way their past is handled now am willing to give the benefit of doubt to makers to explain this mix up in future.
But look at the bright side, if at all they were not divorced, lets take their exes dig as their hatred, their second marriage talks as their way of showing revenge to get closer, and most of all Dev should be celibate😆 because if makers cannot justify Sona's move in with out "not divorce" they surely can't leave Dev loosing himself with strangers😉 Me happy happy
Lets wait and watch how this hiccup is handled by the makers till then I am willing to savor the rest of the beautiful episode 😊
