May be the surprise of unraveling Dev and Sona's past gifted by the makers is so huge for me since I least expected it when the patch up happened , I am willing to wait for an explanation from them for this in future.

I am one of those who was majorly pissed with the story progress till last week, now I am of the few who is willing to wait for the story to unfold as my trust with the CVs have increased multifold😛 Hoping against hope😳

@deepsel There are two ways I see a particular episode...

One from a point of view of a viewer... If I look at this episode from a viewer's perspective, I loved each and every bit of this episode...

Yes, I was slightly disappointed at the revelation but for me, it simply meant that Dev will never betray or leave the Bose family on the streets... He feels guilty for a lot of things but I don't think it has to do with Boses being evicted from their home..

There must be a reason why no one in the Bose family have ever spoken about it.. In fact, I feel like they have forgiven Dev and don't blame for the eviction.. I might be proven wrong in the future...

But, like I mentioned earlier, so many milestone moments happened in this episode.. It might be less emotionally intensive than the yesterday's episode but I still felt that a strong connection with what I was witnessing on the screen...

This episode, along with every episode since Sona's proposal episode (on June 16) will be going to my coveted treasure chest...

But, from the eyes of a reviewer...

I feel like someone has given me a shock of 1000 volts... You have to realise that in life, we see some things as absolute truths and some as relative ones...

Someone views or opinions might be relative but facts... Facts, like Sun rises from the east and the Earth revolves around the Sun, are universally acknowledged truths... Facts are absolute in nature...

So, for me, Dev and Sonakshi are divorced was a fact... But, now, I have come to know that the what I was assuming to be an absolute truth is actually a lie, definitely shook me...

LIke I said, I know that our CVs of our show have a very nasty habit of surprising us... I am sure that they must have a reason but I know that I need to wait, probably till the very end of the series, to finally have the much needed explanation...

This was why I felt that magic of this episode, was slightly reduced to the enormous magnitude of the revelation.. I know that it will take some time to sink in but I am really excited for what's coming ahead...

Once again, thank you so much for your post...

-Suyash.

P.S: Unlike Sona, I know my rights... And, hence, I have used my right of linking your post to the Weekly Thread, without actively seeking your permission...

I know that you don't mind but still I wished to inform about this small misuse of the 'haq' that you have given me...

Good night, @deepsel

Deepa , I am glad that you are able to enjoy the episode and last couple of episodes have forced you to be active again .

I don't want to spoil your fun but I would just like to say one thing ..I am not very good at analyzing these characters and in no way I can understand why Dev should feel guilty of not being there when Soha was born .I understand he might have felt bad for not stopping Sonakshi but what bothers me is Sonakshi's views .She is someone who claims Dev to be her love of the life then how could she see him suffer yet not accept the fact that she was the one responsible for separating Soha and Dev .Its not Dev's fault that he wasn't there .She could have reduced his guilt just by saying this truth instead she in a way allows him to believe it was all his fault and she had no role to play in it .How is she different from Ishwari ?

This track had so much potential and it was moving in the right direction but the makers ruined it.The other thing which spoiled my mood is Sona asking Dev if he wants his name to be part of the certificate...Is this a favor done on Dev Dixit ? I am really miffed with the writers for this insensitive dialogues. They could have avoided Soha's childhood if they were not willing to show Sonakshi in bad light .

Lovely analysis. I loved the episode today. Sonakshi's character has always been an open book. It's Dev who is still a puzzle to me and eagerly waiting for unravel his past/pain in his life without Sonakshi, which can only be undone with the help of Sona.

I guess the magic is taking us in inspite of flaws
One thing i am happy about though it doesn't make sense connecting is that they are not legally divorced. I had always thought so coz how was it possible to justify him not knowing about daughter otherwise plus a couple sooo much in love wouldn't be able to sign those docs.

Lots of things are not making sense logically but still enjoying krp coz of the emotional connect..
Well actually am so much in love with this couple that i couldn't see them divorced... no logic here ... just emotions

Deeps... tooo goood! Love your post dear ❤️ and I love the fact that Sonakshi is no longer Ex Big Chi... the irony is once the ex came out the chabhi ka gucha is already hers... now soon we'll see Ex coming out of GKB 👏 life is a full circle...

Dev's million dollar smile was awesome when Sonakshi enters their home ❤️ beautiful scene 👏

And I just love the Bose traditional family hugs ...now Dev and Ronita are so perfectly integrated..awesomeness 👏

Another emotional post on an emotional episode. I think the CVs want to turn us into tear buckets.

Yesterday one thing was revealed, why Ishwari constantly ranted "Sonakshi left the family. It always seemed odd as the old Ishwari should have danced at the idea. The tone should have been like Sonakshi left, we got rid of a troublesome pest'. Instead it was full of bitterness and blame.

But yesterday, truth came out. Ishwari in her single minded vision had thought that once Sonakshi goes she will have her old family back never realising once that there could be severe repercussions. Actually, at that point of time she had still not realised that her son's desires could be totally different from her.

In fact, I find myself seriously unable to blame Dev for his treatment of his family. Imagine striving yourself day and night to protect and provide for your family, respect everyone, be the perfect son, the perfect brother and then find out that your signatures had been fraudulently taken on a document debarring your own wife and children from your hard earned money.

Dev knew that the pre-nup was the final nail in his marriage's coffin and hence could never forgive Ishwari for that. When his entire life was getting destroyed, his mother was more concerned about protecting her and her daughters' financial interests.

Hence the line, whenever someone came to me with a problem, I gave them money. Dev distanced himself from the family which he believed only used him. Regarding Neha's wedding, after the way Neha had actively destroyed his marriage, he would seriously have been a saint to keep normal relations with her.

Now coming to the divorce, it is actually not possible to get a divorce before one year of marriage, unless there are serious medical or torture issues. Also, the process is not so fast that Dev would not have come to know about Suhana. So even I had always suspected that Devakshi were not divorced.

Regarding bigamy, as per Indian marriage law, if a couple stays apart for seven years or more, the marriage automatically gets nullified, at the behest of anyone party. The marriage can obviously continue if both partners want. So maybe the CVS were trying to take umbrage under this clause? Or maybe they just didn't apply their brain and are choosing whatever course of action which appears more convenient at the moment. The second one appears much more likely.😆

It might be shocking if I say that I was expecting this "not divorced" revelation sooner or later because the way they were teasing us with just "ex" terms without clarifying openly always kept me on the edge that this day will come soon😆. Moreover just like I can't imagine Dev leaving Boses estranged , I also cannot believe Dev can fulfill his bodily desires with strange women and this revelation has just made me peaceful atleast for now😛. There might be more logical explanations which CVs might give us later but for now I love to be in this bubble..maybe am too enthralled with the emotions behind every character today I gave a clean chit to the makers to convince the audience for this blunder another day😉

Haqs can only be used and can never be misused, so thank you😳 Hope you had a good night sleep😊

You have put it so well, logically presenting all the points. Please consider posting this on the main forum as a lot of people are unhappy because of that one line of no divorce and Dev being so indifferent towards his sisters. Might sooth some frayed nerves

I am sorry to say this deeps but yday episode was a big disappointment for me after seeing day before yday one. I feel they have goofed up things. One day before they didn't want to get marry and then suddenly next day grah Pravesh stating that they were never divorced. Our writers have amnesia sometimes. Why they called themselves exes and wht the remarriage track of Dev if they didn't divorce. 😕 . Also the conversation of Dev and sona lacked depth. I was eagerly waiting for this scene but was upset the way it was executed. Now again sona in Dixit house competing for best Bahu peagent. We will get to see more sona-ish and sona- sis bonding then dev sona. 😕 . So I am upset and not angry( like Erica 😆 )

For the first time, Dev and Bijoy's scene gave me content feeling and felt more meaningful than Dev and Sona's scene.
For the first time, I felt he should not have fallen in love and it was his biggest mistake of his life.
For the first time, I felt he should not have given that much power to his love to destroy his life. He should have learnt at least this much from Sona. In the tug of war between the saas and bahu, he lost his existence.
For the first time, I understood why mostly men take sanyas. 😆

Finally one question, whose love story is this? Dev and Sona's or ishwari and Sona's?
