I don't want to spoil your fun but I would just like to say one thing ..I am not very good at analyzing these characters and in no way I can understand why Dev should feel guilty of not being there when Soha was born .I understand he might have felt bad for not stopping Sonakshi but what bothers me is Sonakshi's views .She is someone who claims Dev to be her love of the life then how could she see him suffer yet not accept the fact that she was the one responsible for separating Soha and Dev .Its not Dev's fault that he wasn't there .She could have reduced his guilt just by saying this truth instead she in a way allows him to believe it was all his fault and she had no role to play in it .How is she different from Ishwari ?

This track had so much potential and it was moving in the right direction but the makers ruined it.The other thing which spoiled my mood is Sona asking Dev if he wants his name to be part of the certificate...Is this a favor done on Dev Dixit ? I am really miffed with the writers for this insensitive dialogues. They could have avoided Soha's childhood if they were not willing to show Sonakshi in bad light .

This is my main problem with yesterday's epi. They did not justify Dev's 7 yrs at all. It was more like a guilt trip for Dev. For every freaking reason DEv is responsible. He was feeling sona and well as his pain alone. N dev not being part of Soha's childhood was not ALONE Dev's fault. But he has taken whole responsibility on his shoulder. People say they will slowly reveal Dev's past, but my question is will be more of Dev's guilt trip. Because even a small glimpse in Dev's past yesterday didn't gave me satisfaction. it was nothing more than i was not a good husband, son, brother and father, that's it. For whatever he has suffered is not important as he is shown a s a convict who deserves all these sufferings. I wanted to see them healing each other, accepting their mistakes, crying over past, but nothing sort of this happened.

Also, regarding his missing name of birth certificate, i suppose u can add n change names in legal documents, like passport, birth certificate, adhaar card and birth certificates.
So, its not upto DEv to add his name in all these, its Sona's responsibility now to include Dev's name legally in Soha's documents. The dialogue, will u write ur name in birth certificate now irritated me. I was no he won't write Ms. Bose, u should get it added now. If u are giving all the haqs then give him properly if he is not demanding.

I am able feel his pain so I am only addressing that part mostly in my posts that doesn't mean I don't have any respect for her struggle. It's just that I am not able to feel her love for this guy any more the way I can feel her love, respect and yearning for ishwari.

Latha if you feel responsible for having gotten your entire family thrown out on the streets because of your love and your marriage, you would think a billion times before reviving that love. You seriously think Bijoy would not have mentioned this at least once a day? Bijoy though loves his daughter fiercely is highly immature. His heart is not in the wrong place, his sensitivity is.

He also doesn't believe in putting a filter between his brain and mouth. There is a saying in Sanskrit, Say the truth but ensure that it is sweet to listen to.

Seven years is a huge time to lock your heart and throw away the key especially when you are constantly worried with responsibilities for ensuring a stable future for your family.

Regarding sonakshi's love for ishwari, even I am unable to understand it, but maybe it is because she knows that Devs happiness lies with ishwari and Dev can't be truly happy if ishwari is hurting

Another emotional post on an emotional episode. I think the CVs want to turn us into tear buckets.

Yesterday one thing was revealed, why Ishwari constantly ranted "Sonakshi left the family. It always seemed odd as the old Ishwari should have danced at the idea. The tone should have been like Sonakshi left, we got rid of a troublesome pest'. Instead it was full of bitterness and blame.

But yesterday, truth came out. Ishwari in her single minded vision had thought that once Sonakshi goes she will have her old family back never realising once that there could be severe repercussions. Actually, at that point of time she had still not realised that her son's desires could be totally different from her.

In fact, I find myself seriously unable to blame Dev for his treatment of his family. Imagine striving yourself day and night to protect and provide for your family, respect everyone, be the perfect son, the perfect brother and then find out that your signatures had been fraudulently taken on a document debarring your own wife and children from your hard earned money.

Dev knew that the pre-nup was the final nail in his marriage's coffin and hence could never forgive Ishwari for that. When his entire life was getting destroyed, his mother was more concerned about protecting her and her daughters' financial interests.

Hence the line, whenever someone came to me with a problem, I gave them money. Dev distanced himself from the family which he believed only used him. Regarding Neha's wedding, after the way Neha had actively destroyed his marriage, he would seriously have been a saint to keep normal relations with her.

Now coming to the divorce, it is actually not possible to get a divorce before one year of marriage, unless there are serious medical or torture issues. Also, the process is not so fast that Dev would not have come to know about Suhana. So even I had always suspected that Devakshi were not divorced.

Regarding bigamy, as per Indian marriage law, if a couple stays apart for seven years or more, the marriage automatically gets nullified, at the behest of anyone party. The marriage can obviously continue if both partners want. So maybe the CVS were trying to take umbrage under this clause? Or maybe they just didn't apply their brain and are choosing whatever course of action which appears more convenient at the moment. The second one appears much more likely.😆

Superb 👏

I am not saying that her past seven years journey maybe cake walk for her. ATM all I want to see is a honest introspection from Sona's side regarding her share of mistakes in this destruction. Till then I don't think I can connect with her love for this guy.😊

Beautiful post as always!
Divorce bit didn't surprise me as I thought it was probably not possible to technically divorce if a couple has never seen each other after seperation. So I was assuming that marriage void or nullified if a couple lives separately for 7 years or more and don't intend to be together in the future.
The episode was really good especially bose's house part. Loved Dev - bijoy scene. In fact absolutely loved bijoy yesterday.
The only part that I didn't connect was sonakshi's emotional state. She is shocked/surprise listening to how Dev alienated himself but she keeps questioning 'kyu'... it should have come naturally to her that the man who loved and prioritized his family over anything and everything got so broke after she left. I wished sona was moved by it and not tagged it as dev's galtiyan. It actually should have reflected to her , her position in dev's life and that he was incapable and incomplete without her.

Sona had done the mistakes like not trusting dev, for giving up on their relation ,to Try to slove every thing alone instade of team work. To give more importance to Ishu mata then dev and her relation due to fear to loose him. But At the end of s1 if you asked me she was forced to become MRS. Abhodro because she was guilt for the problem for her parents and she was the always hold responsible for every decision at the bose house due to extra love of bijoy and trust and exceptions same like dev with respect of ishu mata. Both dev and sona have fail to manage their relation and extreme situations and paid the price for it. But it the sure that they both loved each other very much and still loved each other more then any thing. But their love was never free but have to carry the burden of the responsibility of their family. I hope I am able to say what is in my mind. And trust now you will see the change in future or change is already started.

@CSCS
I don't think birth certificate can be altered as it is made immediately after birth. I have never heard of a birth certificate alteration. Maybe that is why the dialogue will you Photoshop yourself in old photos and write your name on the birth certificate. Sonakshi was talking about the unalterable things.

But yes would like her to see her taking initiative to get Suhanas's name changed in all other documents and school. If not Suhana Dixit then at least Suhana Bose Dixit
