@Sneha

I don't know I really feel bad for Dev.Why he has to prove himself again & again?
Why can't he get a girl who really understands his weakness & be his Sahara?
Is it too much to ask?

>> when did he prove himself before ? Sonakshi is like an anchor in Dev's life. He was getting the Sahara he needed as long as that sahara is there and he respected it. But, then one day/many days ... he was foolish enough to completely cut the rope that was holding him and anchor.
So, what can the anchor do ? Also, Sonakshi is also human being and she has feelings too and there are limits to her understanding. Towards the end of S1, there were way too many factors that made her feel like - she doesnt hold any value if she doesnt produce a dixit heir and the sudden change in Dev's behavior and the multiple get outs, prenup, eviction... there is a limit a person can bearinsults/worthlessness and that was sonakshi's. Even after they were gone, Dev didnt try to find what happened to bose family where he himself believed that he evicted them from their home. So, no Sonakshi didnt have to provide him any sahara...Dev Dixit had to grow up.

I have a question- don't bash me for this - what is sona worried about most?
Another heartbreak??
But for Suhana' happiness can't she compromise??
Isn't that what all parents do ?
It is easy in arranged marriage because expectations from each other is not very high.
In love marriage this can be a problem.
I don't know anything about love- but what I thought was ego should never come between 2 people madly in love.
To forgive each other also becomes easy.
Why is sona hesitant?

>> Yes, Sonakshi is worried about another heartbreak/relationship break and this time it wont be just Dev and sonakshi who will be impacted. It will be Soha too. RIght now there is no problem with the current arrangement... Soha is getting the best of both worlds... except that Dev and Sonakshi are not sleeping with each other... they are being everything else a child could wish for. So why should sonakshi compromise and risk Soha's future potential heartbreak if this doesnt work out. what if Dev repeats the same thing and cuts the rope holding the anchor again as his mom is not happy ? what if they snatch soha ? what if sonakshi is forced to execute her rights and take soha away from Dev and Dixits incase dixits try to snatch soha ? then soha will get only one parents love... which is not fair for her... So this time around i would expect sonakshi to "drink thanda paani bhi phook phook ke" as devakshi relationship has a tendency to break due to extenal factors.

Thank you for your thought process.
What I meant was in our setup - the way we have been brought up-
Marriage is a lot meant to be compromise from both partners.
Once our children come into picture- our life starts revolving around them-
That itself is a good bond between the couple & children.
Maybe my thought is old school-
I am thinking like old generation- for me nothing can be more than my child's happiness.
Anyway maybe new gen may think differently.

Sneha I belong to your school. To me my daughter is above everything...Yes we are old generation people who wants the smile on our child's face at the cost of our preferences.

Yes Sneha i do understand your perspective and its absolutely correct in its own way. But right now they are scared of ruining their relationship once again n it will badly affect Soha. They have faced the burns and don't want their child to suffer. They are just being cautious. N honestly i have seen people who confess that they would have been happier and in a much better space, if their parents would not have stayed in marriage just because of their sake. So compromise for the child does not work always work in positive direction.

What more can Dev do now ?
Really ball is in Sona's court now.
But I am very sad - most of it was not dev's fault.
Yet he is paying the price.
When will Vicky & Mami get their punishment??
I am waiting for that.
Nobody gets away by doing so many wrong things.
It will definitely hit back,
In their case , I feel it is overdue.
Why Dev always underestimate the power of Vicky & Mami ?
I know he considers them as good for nothing.
But for the first time in the hospital- he understands the evilness of Mami.
But Vicky?? How can be Dev so naive when it comes to Vicky?
My blood boils when I see ' happy marital life ' of Vicky & Elena.
7 years is a long period- this separation was initiated by this trio.
But can't fully attribute it to them because Dev could have searched for them .
If iswari had not sent sona back ...
I think there was some problem with the writing/ script.
Now it looks like things have started falling back correctly.

If two hands are raised it is a clap and if only one is raised it is a slap
Marriage obviously is full of compromises but the beauty of the bond is such that all the sacrifises are worth remebering but if there is no happiness it is not worth it

Today in that garden scene, I just felt like giving a tight hug to sona and wanted to tell her that it's ok to breath dear, don't be too harsh on your self. After seeing Dev's expression, boy you really need to build enough strength to hold her. Picture abhi baki hai mere dost. If he is becoming dumb struck with trailer itself then what will be his condition if she breaks down before him.

But, this was a clue in a lot of aspects. Firstly, it showed that he cannot bear if Sona gets even a scratch. When Sona will break down in front of him, I am expecting a lot of tears from both sides. But, I would rather have them hugging, crying together and finding solace in each others arms than pretending to be strong in front of each other (while giving the other support) as that was the mistake they did in S1.

It's actually good that makers haven't taken OLX 6 months challenge and still kept jhoola in the show. They are completely making use of it now, that's really good. Yesterday's jhoola scene took me back to flash back where Dev got fever, even though he was too weak still didn't allowed sona to touch his legs to remove his shoes. I really love this guy for the way he treats her with so much respect. If he would have been treated their relationship with same respect and if she would have been trusted him enough to share her true feelings and fears with him then they must be a happy family today. How many beautiful moments together they missed, I just hope for only happy times further for these two wonderful souls.

N what hurts more is that she was telling about her loneliness as a matter of fact thing. Her eyes were hollow but her voice didn't shake. Dev is just observing her and peeping in her last 7 years. Both of them need a lot of healing from each other.
