Sonakshi knows her future with Dev will be BLEAK unless some of the residents of IN leave or the permanent residents change their attitude...she is ready to wait...here a feasible outcome for everyone would be what you suggested in your short story...Vicky and his parents leave to Mumbai forever...

Chitra , it is highly impossible to see change in every person around you so that you can lead a peaceful life. Some people won't change their basic nature come what may. RR and Vicky belong to that type. Iswari also would have remained the same had Sonakshi's heartfelt attempt to remove the Khatri issue from her life not happened. It shook her from the base and wiped off her animosity towards Sonakshi. Destiny favoured and Iswari could see Sonakshi's reality.

I was also a little confused at first but then I assumed that it was the way he admitted that jhula was still there because she got it or else he would have thrown it... so he admitted he never liked it but liked the fact that it was her choice. In s1 Dev never admitted it... he just kept saying he likes it or doesn't mind it to please her. In short, Dev is more expressive about how he feels and that's a change in him. With asha too it was such a big deal that he discussed how his mother felt about sonakshi.

I too would like to have the interpretations from the experts here about 'you have changed ' ... its such a pleasure reading everyone's interpretation on this thread... they are brilliant!

What more can Dev do now ?
Really ball is in Sona's court now.
But I am very sad - most of it was not dev's fault.
Yet he is paying the price.
When will Vicky & Mami get their punishment??
I am waiting for that.
Nobody gets away by doing so many wrong things.
It will definitely hit back,
In their case , I feel it is overdue.
Why Dev always underestimate the power of Vicky & Mami ?
I know he considers them as good for nothing.
But for the first time in the hospital- he understands the evilness of Mami.
But Vicky?? How can be Dev so naive when it comes to Vicky?
My blood boils when I see ' happy marital life ' of Vicky & Elena.
7 years is a long period- this separation was initiated by this trio.
But can't fully attribute it to them because Dev could have searched for them .
If iswari had not sent sona back ...
I think there was some problem with the writing/ script.
Now it looks like things have started falling back correctly.

I don't know I really feel bad for Dev.
Why he has to prove himself again & again?
Why can't he get a girl who really understands his weakness & be his Sahara?
Is it too much to ask?

I have a question- don't bash me for this - what is sona worried about most?

But for Suhana' happiness can't she compromise??
Isn't that what all parents do ?
It is easy in arranged marriage because expectations from each other is not very high.
In love marriage this can be a problem.
I don't know anything about love- but what I thought was ego should never come between 2 people madly in love.
To forgive each other also becomes easy.

So, while watching the repeat, i observed that when Dev asked Sona's hand to get up from Jhoola and she happily gave in, ATM, Sona was the first one to hold his hand and then he tighten his grip against her hand. I hope I am able to convey what i want to. o.O

Sona tighten her grip on his hand first and then he followed.

So was it a kind of symbolism that Dev will let her hold on him first and then he will held her. Like Sona has to take the first step, as it is also discussed in many posts here.

Or it was just a random scene and I am making my own theories. 😆

Thank you for your thought process.
What I meant was in our setup - the way we have been brought up-
Marriage is a lot meant to be compromise from both partners.
Once our children come into picture- our life starts revolving around them-
That itself is a good bond between the couple & children.
Maybe my thought is old school-
I am thinking like old generation- for me nothing can be more than my child's happiness.
Anyway maybe new gen may think differently.
