I know everyone is worried regarding devs marriage but why am i getting the feeling that this would be a turning point for ishwari and in the hospital she will force dev and sona to remarry. Afterall there seems to be a deliberate effort to improve ishwaris characterisation and the show has to end in 2-3 months as per spoilers.

Thank you so much Shaavi and Grace ..🤗
It is this beautiful thread and your (and all awesome writers here) beautiful writing that encourages to make my humble attempts..

Welcome back Payalj 🤗

I am having a good time reading the discussions over pride and perfection of Sonakshi. I am having a slightly different opinion here. I feel Sonakshi is aware of her pride and extent of her perfection more than anyone else (even Dev), just like she is aware of her Baba's 'pride and perfection'. It is her impassive face that doesn't spill the beans. But before explaining how and why, I would like to observe Sonakshi some more. However, she does need a little more introspection into her role in separation. But for that she has let go of her fear of things going haywire, that is attached with her for relationship with Dev, and think with an open mind.

^^ Feeling is mutual..I would be ded that day Why its so difficult to let them be simple cordial friendly EXs for a while..and figure out themselves how they want to sort out their lives and when they want to be back together

@Mallika, Charmed is one of my all time favorite series and I watch it even today. I don't know how many times I have watched the reruns 😆 😆 . Call me crazy, but I like the concept of the show and the way they show the dynamics of a family. Where each one supports the other when needed, question one another be it on intentions or actions and although they are apart, they are still together. One of my other favorite show is Criminal Minds. 😊

Thanks for the wonderful post. You have penned down beautifully. They very much echo my thoughts. The whole idea of Sonakshi thinking that she is unquestionable and that she never makes mistakes takes away a lot of goodness from what she does. It makes her not humble. It taints her actions. Just my pov.

I am so happy you've watched Charmed too!😆 I loved the first 3 seasons... but then they killed off my fav.😭 But its still such a fun show. I never watched Criminal Minds-- I sort of went off procedurals after watching Bones (which I have a whole love hate relationship with 😆). Its funny because all the issues I had with the male lead there are the issues I have with Sona. So I clearly have a type. 😆

Pride is an inwardly directed emotion that carries two antithetical meanings. With a negative connotation pride refers to a foolishly[1] and irrationally corrupt sense of one's personal value, status or accomplishments, used synonymously with hubris. With a positive connotation, pride refers to a humble and content sense of attachment toward one's own or another's choices and actions, or toward a whole group of people, and is a product of praise, independent self-reflection, and a fulfilled feeling of belonging...
Finally guys a plausible mid-way we can arrive at...some of us think sonkashi's character portrayal sinks with the quotation in Red where as some believes its in line with the definition highlighted in blue. Kallas so wikipedia has solution for everything🤣

True, I liked Prue too, but Paige was good too in her own way. What I like about it is how each of them supported the other when they need the most. The sisters are true to one another and can depend on each other at any time. 😃

As to Criminal Minds, there is no one single lead. It is about a team of FBI agents who are part of an unit called BAU(Behavioral Analysis Unit). They are called in cases where they not only analyze the criminal, but also the victims of such crimes. Like why those victims were chosen. Using the victim, they profile the criminal and his/her motives for the act and find the culprit. Each of the member of the team has their own strengths and weaknesses. One thing they agree in common is not profile their team members to maintain privacy and friendship. It is a beautiful series and showcases different human behaviors and what triggers a person to act the way he does. 😊

🤣

Thanks for this. I think both descriptions are apt. But I wanted to point out the part in blue about "independent self-reflection". That's what I feel is missing in Sona in order for her to fall under the description in blue. I guess in my view, if you can't respect the fact that you could be doing something wrong... you also can't know if you are truly doing something right. That's why the former is also called false pride.

Today's episode was basically about Ishwari, her guilt, her embarrassment and her failures.
Knowing that Dev was at her "memsahaab's" house just increased her pain tenfold.
But I just wanted to talk about one dialogue.

Ishwari said, " Main apney bete ke pyaar ke laalchi hoon" This is the first time that Ishwari accepted that fact out loud. And unknown to her Sonakshi also heard that. I think, the fact that Sonakshi was also witness to her failure is a fact that will somehow egg her on to redemption.
But it was really surprising to see Ishwari accept that fact. Then could it be possible that somewhere deep down she realises that whatever she did, to kind of ruin his life and happiness, was an outcome of this problem she has?
