@Chits, Mallika, Shaavi, Lakshmi & bH...really enjoying your discussion on Sona's 'I am perfect' attitude. And to be frank, though I accept that not all woman will do what all Sona is doing for Dev after going through all this trauma & abuses, I also agree with Mallika, Shaavi & Lakshmi's take on Sona. Especially the statement, 'Dev always gave Sona the benefit of the doubt... but Sona didn't give that to Dev in return.' That summarizes why Sona needs to introspect where she went wrong. In my opinion, during Neha's case, when Dev told her to keep herself out of it, she shouldn't have felt bad about it. Rather, she should have to understood that it will take time to understand the Dixit family dynamics, especially after Ishwari & Dev had told her the same. Then we can argue why couldn't they detail her the reasons. In Saheli's latest article, after giving the example of the Earth, Sun & Moon, she ends it like this - 'You need to give space to earth, sun and moon to complete their rotation as per their own pace. Because giving that pace and space to the respective partner also may count as compatibility'. So Dev used to give Sona this space and that is why he never questioned her on why she hid from him their business plan. But Sona failed to give it back to Dev, perhaps because of her white knight syndrome or her I know everything attitude.
@bashingHater...what was that?...you really hit a sixer with that analysis on Ishwari. And was it because it was your adieu post? 😊. Btw, I also second Deepa's request to come back and be active on the forum, if not atleast in this thread.
@Tia...really superb...it was like you went deep into their mind & thoughts and on their behalf, poured out all their emotions infront of us...And those poetic lines added more insight to the whole post.
@Suyash...as usual, having no words to express what I felt after reading your post on Page 30 of the previous thread. I would request you to post your views as separate threads in the forum & just give the link here. So that, those who don't visit this thread will also be privileged to read through such wonderful thoughts. Infact, Tia, you also should think about it, especially when you make posts similar to your latest one. It will also increase the activity in our forum.
And finally @Shaavi...Like you, I am also eagerly waiting for this week's episodes to see whether our CVs are smart enough to overtake our one & only prognosticator. 😃(Because of you I learned this word, which means one who predicts based on present indications or signs)
