Thanks for this. I think both descriptions are apt. But I wanted to point out the part in blue about "independent self-reflection". That's what I feel is missing in Sona in order for her to fall under the description in blue. I guess in my view, if you can't respect the fact that you could be doing something wrong... you also can't know if you are truly doing something right. That's why the former is also called false pride.

Well said mallika. Thanks Chitra . False pride is injurious to self realisation. Right or wrong depends on perspectives. So being judgemental towards other's perspective leads more towards self righteousness rather than self realisation.

May be I am in minority, but i really liked today's episode.
Special mention to Supriya ji, she is a top class actor. Her scene when she recognized her memsaab's voice and pleaded for forgiveness was amazing.
Even dream sequence was brilliant.
Shaheer toh is a top class actor and he once again proved that he can do justice with any kind of scene. No one else could have brought Dev Dixit alive, other than him. Actually all the protagonist are best suited for their characters.
Today's episode was very well written and executed. It was emotional, tightly packed and very well performed.
Be it Ishwari, Dev, Sonakshi or the family, everyone's emotions were at point. I didn't felt anything OTT. Yes that Malti aunty was thodi filmy bas. 😆
Dev as a son who was was ready to give his life for his mother's forgiveness, was devastated by all the allegations. He was miserable and defeated.
Sona was as usual calm and at her best. She supported Dev very well and handled khatri and family.
Really Don't wanna think about future track but today's episode was one of its kinds.

I'm in your team Charu Di. It was a very well written episode indeed. We got to see new sides of the characters that we thought we had managed to analyse more or less. It's so amazing how CVs give us new things to ponder about each day.

Some other thoughts,

Shaheer's hair are distracting me now. When he was asking for forgiveness, i so wanted to either chop his hair or tie them up.

The new girl Kajal is almost half of Dev's height. Nandu said he will be only little bit shorter than her if he kneels down n the next moment he bent down in front of her to prove us right. 😆

N lastly what's up with Baba Bose? Ab toh i dnt even feel like getting angry also. He is behaving like a father of teenage daughter who has fallen for some galli ka veela lafanga and is ignoring her studies for him. 😆
Can't Dev and Sona meet to discuss Soha. No relation doesn't mean they won't talk to each other. o.O

Even i also like the episode. The point which i like the most is the way they handled ishu's theft and how that family react and how dev for the understand point of view of that family. He understand that his mother is at fault and want to try the things good for them .he was continusly saying sona that that family also not wrong she is correct at her position. This is different from s1. In s1 he feels his mother is pefect and to make the things right from their point of view he was ready to do any things. But today I feel he has accepted his mother as human. When that leady was cursing ishu mata he was quit he don't try to stop her. I feel dev was more human today who knows mother's fault but at the same time able to understand the outbust of that family.but for ishu a long way to go. Still she is not able to look beyound dev . Thats what i feel stil she has not undertand the impact of her theft. Thats what i feel.
Because unless and untill she understand that she will not understand her faults she sholud feel the impact of her every act othet other persones other then her dev.

Baba Bose understands his daughter better than she thinks he knows. His daughter didn't listen to him when she wanted to come to Delhi, threatened him with Dev when he tried to take Soha away and now seems to have forgiven the Dixits for everything.😆

I liked the episode too. Given all the facts, it was a well written and executed epi. The lady said everything I wanted Dev to hear and he heard it too...feeling ashamed and guilty as he knows they aren't wrong. The best line was when she said Ishwari hasn't taught her son to differentiate to between God and Human. She has been selfish to the extent that she kept enjoying the god status in his life.
The outcome is definitely scary as Dev , Ishwari and Sonakshi are so vulnerable right now that many negative people can and will try to take advantage of it. More painful episodes are on their way, i guess.
