Chitra...We all know that Dev's love for Golu will be there forever and is not to be compared with his love for Soha...But, what I have a problem is him explicitly showing his partiality to Soha. Two instances I felt bad is when he complimented Soha only for making the anniversary cake when Golu said he also helped in making the cake (And we the viewers know that Soha was only giving advices while Golu was the one who was shown mixing the cake batter). Second one is as shown in yesterday's spoiler. Why did he have to cheat Golu, when Soha herself was not interested in it? Already Golu's mind is corrupted by RR. And such actions by Dev will only make Golu feel that what RR said is right, and here also RR will win just like the way she succeeded in fanning up Ishwari's insecurities. That's why I wanted Dev to start learning to balance relationships.

No better way to explain Iswari's behaviour towards Dev and his sisters than you did here. You just nailed it and presented it the right way. I am one of those who can understand Iswari's expectations from Dev and I see it as no crime. It is quite natural for a mother who has toiled hard and has three daughters to be taken care of. I won't call her greedy at all.

Right now she is worried on seeing Dev and Sonakshi's bonding not because she is against Sonakshi . She is fearing the power of Sonakshi to cause hurt to Dev in such a way by breaking up again that he will lose his zeal to live. Dev survived two break ups the second one leaving a devastating impact on his emotional persona. He drifted away from his mother mentally and physically. Iswari fears a third break up that may totally shatter Dev to the extent of leaving no chance of any revival. She is afraid if Sona creates hope and again ditches Dev what could be done?

Iswari always felt she is not responsible for the separation. She said alag ho jao and Sonakshi misunderstood it. Iswari asked both of them to live separately together. But Sonakshi gave importance more to her father's pride and separated from Dev. So Iswari has no confidence in Sona's love for Dev. She feels any moment Sonakshi will move away leaving Dev heartbroken. That will be the biggest punishment for her to see her son again in such a state Iswari thinks so. In her monologue before God she said so. I understood this way. My point of view.

Coming to Sona I am fed up of her single handed attempts to trace the family and tackle Khatri. Like malikakas I also wish Jatin's efforts should not bear fruit. Why should Khatri be brought out of jail? I agree with the views that information can be obtained by keeping him in jail. I can't digest Sona 's secret mission any more. Why should Dev be made to look like a helpless child doting upon Sona for solving his own issue? White night or princess I don't bother but I don't like Sonakshi's way of operation Khatri.

I hope at some point of time she needs Dev's help to move ahead.But I don't think it will happen seeing the way the story is unfolded. Sonakshi may emerge winner and there ends the matter.

Bold - Lakshmi...I totally agree with you in this. This is exactly her current state of mind. But, what I want to see is how she also realises that she had a role in their separation; to see her reaction when she comes to know how low she stooped with her manipulations to separate them.

Red - This is the same thought that came in my mind when I saw Dev asking Sona whether she needed any help. Seemed to be quite illogical that a shrewd business person like Dev is kept at dark about what is happening with Khatri...Hadd he yaar.

@ grace...the pblm lies not with Dev but with RR...She is the culprit who is poisoning the little one...more than anything Dev's biggest issue is he takes his loved ones for granted...his ideology is Since I luv you I expect you to be happy in my happiness...if you look at it impartially isnt that correct? He expectedhis mom to like Sona bcoz his happiness lies with her...now he expects Golu to be happy and join with him in the pursuit of making Soha a part if their life...in a given situation this is what he would have done so he expects the same from his loved ones...so he doesnt care about balancing!...parents also do the same...isnt it?

@grace

Acknowledging our mistakes ,repenting and admitting them without inhibitions makes us human beings worthy of our humanity. Dev has these qualities in abundance and hence I admire him despite his minuses. I hope one day Iswari and Bijoy would realise their part in getting Dev and Sona separated and thereby lose their valuable period of togetherness when they became parents. Certainly they are answerable to their children and they have to regret.

Yes, Overlooking Dev's capabilities and focussing only on Sona by showing her as an Angel with the magic wand the makers are doing injustice. It hurts a lot.

The conversation between Elena and Ishwari had me thinking. Ishwari said we women run the household but make the men feel like they are the ones who are running it. She further goes to say that the woman who keeps everyone together and slides into the household is the one who can run it. Elena fits that picture. Ishwari's biggest issue was that sona would change everything that was just perfect. Didn't her son say that to her when he took her and his girlfriend shopping? Sona as much as appears to be fixing and changing something that was working "just fine". However, her motivation needs to be understood by Dev if this cycle needs to break. Sona wants to see Dev take control of the situation. She doesn't need Dev to stand up for her. She needs to see Dev stand up for himself. Like she used to expect dada to stand on his two feet. She supported dada and look he grew wings. She is desperate to see Dev stand his ground for himself in front of his family. It's not like Dev doesn't know how harmful his family is to his happiness. He just chose to go numb. It only works so long as he keeps himself detached which isn't a solution to Dev's problems given his circumstances. What he needs is to make a statement that it's my house and my rules apply for everyone. Fight his corner. She will stop fighting on his behalf. Fight her corner too.
