Mehar & Maharathi...thank you very much for your comments...I am happy that Geena answered your question on why Sona is being shown to be normal suddenly. Sona is happy doesn't mean that she will instantly jump into a commitment with Dev (unless the makers decide to end the show). So, let's just wait & watch.

Geena...thanks for your comments & the one-line answer you gave here...😊

I was so tired of the doormat comparison of Sona in the forum. That's when I just googled & found out that doormats can be used in a beautiful way also...I was so happy that our Sona also is going to be used to bring happiness in the Dixit house in a similar manner...😉

Bold - Many people is finding a problem with Sona's this behaviour...and this is the third or fourth post where I am giving the reason for the same. Sona, being the person having gone through a similar phase as Ishwari went through as a single mother, is now able to identify with the struggles Ishwari had to endure. That has led Sona to sympathise with Ishwari more and being a mother herself, she can fathom the pain Ishwari had to go through when all these 7years, Dev distanced himself from her. Sonakshi, the compassionate person she is, can only think of mending that relation.

Grace,I read your replies to other posts. 😊
I understand her reason but dont approve of it.
I know she is best suited to understand Ishwari's plight, having herself faced those. I also know Sonakshi is compassionate and so, this was kind of expected from her. My only problem is the way it was portrayed in the show, her compassion somewhere grew or came across as devotion for Ishwari. I am displeased with this aspect.

Understanding or empathising is a virtue of few. Add compassion, it enhances the beauty of the soul. Hence, forgiving becomes a strength. But never forget the lessons learnt that come your way in life so that you dont end up making the same grave mistakes twice. Forgive , let go and be at peace. That is a sign of strong people. But empathy should never give way to blind devotion nor reason can be justification of any wrong doings.

Sonakshi could have helped Ishwari and Dev both. Without making Ishwari look like God. I had problems with her talking as if Ishwari is someone who can never be wrong.

Bold - Sona on friday's episode towards the end of the episode was seen saying, 'Bhagvaan se bhi galathi hoti hai'. She is calling Ishwari God; but is not treating her like God. She is just trying to treat Dev's obsession for Ishwari in a slow manner. Dheere dheere she is trying to show Dev that Ishwari also is a human being, instead of explicitly stating that Ishwari is not God.

Meher, Sona and Dev even though separated for 7 years had always been connected. Be it through Soha or the hatred and anger that they in a way treasured. For Sona she knew Dev loved her and her presence in his life was like life breath. But he still asked her to leave. How could he? And Why? This must have tormented her all these years.
When he never came searching for her, she started believing that she was never that important for him. It was necessary for her survival, it was necessary for her to hate him, it was necessary for her to assuage her guilt of keeping Soha away from him when she knew what Soha was to Dev. How much he craved for a daughter, their tiny Khargosh.
Now she is seeing the devastation left behind by her leaving him. What all she made herself believe to stay away from him was not true. Even the bond between mother and son broke as an after effect. Dev just ripped his bleeding heart and showed her when he thought she was moving on with Jathin. All the anger, hurtful words he used against her was to hurt her as much as he was hurt. Sona knows this vulnerable Dev who will lash out not minding his hurtful words even if he doesn't mean a word of it.
Sona understood that he never meant her to leave or any of the hurtful words he threw at her because he went to the farmhouse. That place was important for him because that is where he lost everything. If Sona was not the lose that he was devastated from he would have been found at their last rented house.
She knew that she was the reason for his extreme hurt, or more correctly the misunderstanding that he is not important for her like she is to him as in her moving on with Jathin. She went after him to remove that hurt.
Even when Ishwari tried to create misunderstanding between them regarding Sona and Jathin's marriage, Sona immediately corrected him. It was their silent understanding that if it is not with you then no one can take your place. That place is sacred.
When the reason for your hatred itself doesn't exist and you believe you have wronged your loved ones who trusted themselves with you, opened their vulnerabilities infront of you then what will you do? You would want to heal them. She had been a nurturer always be it plants or her patients. Then how can she leave her daughter's father when he is at his lowest? She always wanted to share his burden and this time his mother's past is again taking him up on another guilt trip.
Their daughter wanted both her parents beside her happy to feel like a princess. If it was because she read the situation wrong resulting in Soha losing her father's love for the last 6 years then wouldn't she try to help them both? She had always been empathetic and Dev is openly seeking comfort from her. Of course she would provide that. But for her to seek that comfort from him and also to show her vulnerabilities will take time. Dev need to help her in building that trust.
The words you quoted above: Say that you need me, I will be by your side. I won't leave you alone without support this time. She was being his friend and confidant.

Well I don't think sona as a doormat. Even though ur 8 ways doormat can be decorated is hilarious and true too. My problem are CVS how they are turning the story yet not moving the story ahead. But I don't think dev will let go of sona becoz devakshi are the end game, plus that will be out of Dev's character. And sona too will not want to be with some one else
