Awesome post
I guess this post was really needed in the forum after all the negativity that has spread here.
We should not think about what has happened 7 yrs back and just concentrate on what the future holds. As you said Sona has lived for her loved ones all these years and now also she is living for her loved ones. It is dev himself who can bring all the colours back in her life. And once again awesome post

My dear you could not have said it better...

QUOTE=grace4317]
Silence gives us a new way of looking at everything. We need this silence to touch souls. The important things is not what we say but what God says to us and what He says through us." - Mother Teresa

Why I have taken this beautiful quote is because, that is what Sona is experiencing now. Silence after a storm. All these 7 years, she had a storm blowing in her inner beings, which she was able to hide to herself with the thought that it was Dev who left her and abandoned her...She could very well hide this storm which consisted of her disappointment of not being able to fulfill her promises to Dev, her guilt of keeping Soha away from Dev, her concern on how Dev would be living without her etc etc, under this facade, till the moment when Elena told her that Dev used to be away from home, from his mother for several days and would not come back even on Golu's insistence. That moment Sona's misunderstandings, facade everything came tumbling down. Till that moment she wanted to help Dev & Ishwari in Khatri's matter, just like she would help any other person whom she new. If Dev would not have questioned her that day and if Elena hadn't conveyed the summary of Dev's 7years, Sona would just have helped the Dixits in the Khatri matter and next day would have minded her own business. But, the moment she came to know that how she, her absence and the punishment she gave him by taking away her love from Dev has made the once soft-spoken, loving & caring person into a ruthless person who didn't even care for his mother, it was more than what she could bear. (Afterall, she also is a mother and could feel how exactly Ishwari's life would have been without Dev all these 7years). That moment Sona understood how she herself have abused her love which once she had taken pride in (I didn't mean Dev. I meant that feeling of love. If you rewind back to Neha's divorce episode, on their first coffee date after marriage we can see Sona arguing with Dev that Neha & Ranveer loved each other and that was more than enough to stick on). That's why at the farmhouse she says to Dev, ''Maine tume pyar kiya, chaahe kuch bhi ho jaaye tume nahin chodne ka vaada kiya; firbhi tume chodke gaya''. It was not because she became weak seeing Dev's state that she changed. Rather the reality that her love could turn the man whom she once loved into a ruthless person is something which she couldn't accept. So, Sona, being the person who always believed in doing the right things, is now on the path of setting things right. And as she is walking through that path, she herself is getting her happiness back; she is glowing because she is happy that she is becoming a reason for the happiness of the person she loved/loves. She is enjoying the peace that is filling her mind, as she is getting the long lost satisfaction of being by his side when he needed her support. And in this phase instead of being with her in her happiness, we are cribbing for what has happened 7years back. Seriously...are our hearts so shrinked that we are not being able to be happy with Sona? Just think about it.

I am with you Sona, because you also deserve to be happy dear. All these 7years you have lived for your loved ones. Now also you have chosen the happiness of your dear ones instead of seeking revenge on those who tarnished your's & your family's self-respect. It's your choice and by doing so, you are not being a doormat; you are just setting your position high. And this time your efforts are not going to be in vain. This time I am sure Dev will make it sure that you will not suffer because of him or his family.

P.S: As we say, each profession has it's own merits and demerits. The job of the scavengers are the most yucky and detested job I know. But, if it were not for them, how would we keep our surroundings neat & clean. Same way, a doormat also does its job beautifully. Who are we to judge it by its position & beauty? Phir bhi, for those who can't accept the doormat for what it is, here is a good news. 'Doormats aren't just for the door. Here are 8 creative ways to use them as beautiful home decor' - for more info about it, just click this link - http://shareably.net/door-mats-transformed-into-art/

Btw, I didn't say Dev will go against Ishwari and support Sona...Instead, Sona will not let such a situation happen again where Dev will have to choose between her & Ishwari and by saying that he will not let Sona suffer, i meant he may free Sona from his love and allow her to live her life. (Remember the pen promo). What happens after that we have to wait & see.

Yaa pen promo ,got it.thnx.

She started it for Soha but then the innocent, playful Sona dormant in her took over😊

Only thing is I dont agree to her approach on Ishwari. My personal opinion of Ishwari is not anything nearby "good". I'm only displeased with what Sonakshi's character did-- displaying care to the extent of devotion for Ishwari. I would have preferred her taking a milder "care" route.

Gauri...thanks for the nice comments...😊

Bold - Many people is finding a problem with Sona's this behaviour...and this is the third or fourth post where I am giving the reason for the same. Sona, being the person having gone through a similar phase as Ishwari went through as a single mother, is now able to identify with the struggles Ishwari had to endure. That has led Sona to sympathise with Ishwari more and being a mother herself, she can fathom the pain Ishwari had to go through when all these 7years, Dev distanced himself from her. Sonakshi, the compassionate person she is, can only think of mending that relation.

Hi rockstar...Below is a writeup by one of our forumites, Geena, on why this sudden change in Sona's behaviour. Hope, this may make sense and help you to have a better opinion about Sona...😊

One of the most difficult parts for me to watch in Krp was the infertility track. Even now I am not sure if I have watched them completely and it is not because I haven't tried. That was the only track where I hated Dev Dixit with a passion I didn't even know I had in me. The new ruthless version of Sona was born during that track. The circumstances that cropped up later on, just kept on adding more layers or walls around her. Dev's Khargosh' could always hear the murmurs of his heart. We could say Dev's Khargosh' lost her teeth during that track and she lost her ability to hear his mind.

She lost her trust in his love, that it would ever be enough to balance the complete dedication he had to his mother. When Dev asked her to agree to the treatment to bring Ishwari back from the temple and when he expressed his complete willingness to do whatever it takes to make her dreams come true, Sona kept looking at Dev. It was the look of a broken person, who had her dreams shattered and who had lost trust even in herself. She had to gather every ounce of courage in her to ask Ishwari the question of her acceptance as a member of Dixit family if the treatment fails and also to admit to her that she already asked this question to Dev and was not answered by him making it clear to her that she doesn't have a future here if Ishwari doesn't accept her.

She took Ishwari's thum alag ho jao' and Dev's get out at face value because that was what she feared and expected all along. It became easier for her to accept the worse of Dev including the prenup and throwing them out of their home since she had retaliated against his God'. Soha's arrival gave her some hope that since Ishwari's condition is met, she won't pose any more hurdles for Dev to accept Sona now. But his refusal to meet her made her conclude that forgiveness will not come her way since she hurt his mother.

The revelations she had about Dev in Dixit house, rocked the very foundations of her wall. Where she believed, she was never important enough, for him to be able to throw her out of his life when his mother's dreams were at bay; she saw that her leaving him has broken that bond apart. Where she had a hard time reminding herself that she is not a part of Dev anymore, she saw that she was very much a part of him so much so that even a doubt of her moving on with another man broke him to the extent of making him leave his daughter to escape her presence. Dev's khargosh' knew that he never could control hurtful words which he might not even mean. But when Dev asked her to get out and said those hurtful words she was not his khargosh' anymore. She understood and accepted that their relationship failed because she left him. Because she failed to trust their love and failed to understand his intent, their daughter lost her childhood with her father.

Ishwari's absence was very much needed for Sona's realization that this family was very much her's. She subconsciously used her haq that was always hers when she defended them against Khathri. Her intentions were pure and this when misunderstood by Dev gave her insight into his action of accepting the blame of theft to protect her brother's marriage. As much as Dixit family is hers, the Bose family is also Dev's to care and protect from outsiders.

She is seeing the broken, guilt ridden man who always bore the brunt of the guilt heaped on him by his family which was added on by her leaving him instead of being his support. She is the only one who knows this Dev inside out and had genuinely wanted to share his burden even when they were not in a relationship. Now when he is finding that much needed solace in her embrace, when he is reaching out to her for help how can she not be his friend? How can she not be his Khargosh'? When she can read him still like an open book how can he think that they were ever separated? Welcome back Khargosh'.

Grace I think everyone's problem is not that. Her. Aa Jaap and the putting on pedestal is what 's annoying. Ish needs understanding more than respect. And I don't want sona accepting all ish' s whim just coz f dat. I mean come on that girl also has her life. And ish also has got a lot of rewards for struggles.
