When I said she is considering him as a friend, I meant to say that she has now started viewing him as a victim of circumstances which is why she wants to help him out after his emotional breakdown. This realization has come after the Jatin track. Before this, she only viewed him as someone who never supported her, who found ways to hurt her and was never able to make her happy. That is why we saw her being indifferent to Dev's actions before Suhana's secret disclosure. She wanted to show him that she was not affected with his antics. Her indifference is due to her feelings being lost for him. She subsided her love somewhere in her heart where she herself was not able to find it but Dev's emergence as Suhana's father started bringing back those feelings as she saw similar qualities in Dev which made her fell in love with him the first time.

You can use the word narcissism for her God complex as narcissism is similar to what you are saying that she believes she is always right and blames other for her shortcomings (not flaws).

I said Sonakshi is an actress in the sense that she successfully exposed only those emotions that she wanted to whenever she faced Dev in S2. But she was unable to in the above mentioned instances. There her core identity as Dev's lover and wife prevailed over the smart business woman who faced Dev with confidence and ruthlessness.

Ofcourse Dev also tried to act before her to show that she won't make any difference to him now and he is living his life in his own way.

Both tried to prove that they moved ahead in life.

Yes. Sonakshi started warming up to Dev after she realised how good a father he is to Soha. This realisation made her expose herself before his photo. Though she did not say " I love you Dev" at that time her heartfelt outburst certainly implied the inherent ,suppressed love for Dev.

She may take time to show her real self to Dev. Till then she will continue being his friend in need...

Like Malika, laxmi and others said, what we do in our jobs doesn't always reflect in our personal lives. Having said that, the way in which the sisters had no access to "dev's" wealth has always been an issue with me on this show. All 5 of them were in this together.

Neha's problem was not money or independence. She needed acknowledgement. Dev wouldn't be what is is/was without the efforts put in by Ishwari and Neha. Like Riya once said, had Ishwari not made that strategic decision, they might still be on the roads. Neha just needed to be thanked too. She used to throw those tantrums because she needed attention.

As for mami/vicky, their greed is endless and Elena has tried explaining this so many times to both of them. They started with couple of '00s, then it went to theft of gold watch... escalating to vicky being a 49% partner. With both mami and vicky it again comes from the mocking that mamaji keeps giving them. They are constantly comparing themselves to Dev and Ishwari. I mean Sona is herself a millionaire now. Why is mami not all over her like she was with natasha? Because mami just wants control on Ishwari and dev's wealth.

Dev has his work cut out here

Charu your whole post was great. I just wanted to point out the above about Neha. Neha needed validation... she craved that. She saw through Ishwari's manipulations and refused to "look perfect" . Neha was not dominating in fact.

Lets wait for Sam to elaborate. No one reads Neha better than Sam.. I hope when she is back she can chime in...

The way I look at the current episodes, they had a staffing issue.. One of acute nature. I would say 3 out of their 5 leads (dev, ishwari,soha, sona and golu) were missing. The makers still took the story forward. We still don't know what is happening with Supriya (I wish her and her family well). Not trying to be patronising or condescending at all.

We saw Sona's realisation already (with Dev's photo). I think some scenes with Dev's realisation were missing.

They have been building this up since post leap in small increments... Like the jewellery theft/snake incident/Asha talking to Sona about trust etc

PS: some very interesting conversations going on here. I shall join in as soon as possible

@DQ I agree with the validation part of Neha. She wanted acknowledgement for the success of her family, just like Dev. She supported the family in hidden and wanted people to appreciate her efforts as well.

N about Dev's hair :v. well i couldn't see his eyes when he was giving khatri those angry looks while holding his collar.

N yesterday his julfien 😲. His hair are damn good and distracting. I was practically drooling on it xD

Someone ask him which shampoo and oil he uses. 😃

I recall a certain Dev Dixit telling his then girlfriend that he just uses a simple shampoo... His girlfriend had tried digging for information if its was keratin etc. All he said was, its a shampoo that his secretary buys him... I might try and slide into his bathroom and send you guys a photo later tonight 😳

@DQ I agree neha wanted acknowledgment bcoz she was fed up of ish's constant dev rant...her sacrifices should also b counted thats what she wanted..ish always had put herself on pedestal that she sacrificed n her dev rant...

this imp she got from ranveer that some1 can like her so she fell for him...

ish though manipulated dev by giving property n all like she said to sona dev k prop pe sabka aur jyada neha ka haq h...sacrifices neha did just to stop him 4m HM

I really miss neha she was 1 character whom I liked amongst devs sisters..as she was upfront spoke her mind no sugar coated...however her charac was also butchered later

You made me get back to Mahabharata days. When asked about the secret of his gorgeous hair ( it was droolworthy just like Epic Arjun had as per Vyasa) Shaheer said he got it from his mother who has such silky long hair. He said he need not bother to maintain it . Like DO mentioned he said he uses normal shampoos only suggested by his secretary.
