DQ n Sam.. Great effort to keep the serenity of this thread 👍🏼

I liked the episode . Since i believe in forgetting n forgiving, felt bad seeing a teary eyed dev & the same time got angry for the attitude wala dev in the precap 😆 After all this is a fiction but people can relate that to their day today life hence this much dissections n post mortems, then subsequent anger n frustrations.

Btw, "bottle truce " worked. I always luvd DEJOY bonding. I liked it wen papa bose said that dev discouraged him from drinking . Also the pleasantries they exchanged. Had everything went well, they wud've been a great sasur -damad duo. But alas ! It's never too late ..God knows ( actually CVs 😛 ) wen !

Sona's anger outburst & accusations on dev made him speechless n sad but dev connected that with their past experience & understood it. Sona said sorry but it didn wrkd . Dev told sona that they tend to blame each other very easily but takes time in understanding each other. Actually both sona n dev need to work on that . For understanding each other, they need to communicate. Nt with their usual tu tu mein mein but they need to wrk as a team , even if that's for their daughter suhana.

I wanted dev to giv some befitting reply to mami.. it's high time. Dev did that to ronita's mom but y can't he do the same with his family esp in front of people like mamiji ? He did said that he 've no issues with boses n he's going bak too . I really liked dev in season 1 wen mami poured some water in the kitchen & asked sona to clean but dev interfered saying it's nt her duty . i want similar scenes wer dev taking stand wen sona n soha land in dixit house. Hope this time CVs won't disappoint us.

Dev returned to dixit house without informing even soha which was nt right & he didn picked the calls. I think bcoz of him, jatin too distances from soha to allow dev more time with her. Dev is good in making promises but he again failed in fulfilling the same . So typical of him 🤔

The highs n lows of the characters r still bit confusing.. it's like ohh yeahh voh sudhar gaya/ gayi hai...but nahiii...nt yet 😆 Cvs, bas bhi karo yaar, bahot ho gaya hai !

P.S. Is n't it punishable to ride under the influence of alcohol ? Dev cud've used the car , the left front seat was empty. Anyways 😛

Yes. Dev made a promise to Soha but failed to keep it up. But not intentionally I feel. Sometimes that which man supposes,God disposes.

The symbolism part of this incident,I fail to fathom. Actually I am poor at decoding such symbolic scenes. Shaavi,Sam,DQ and others are good at that. I could look at it as the way it happened only.

Another reason as to why I don't connect it to future like you mentioned is I am scared to even think of Dev drifting apart from Soha. He got ultimate bliss after such a traumatic past and I want him to be peaceful till eternity.

Bolded - Lakshmi...even I agree with you...Magar kya he na? CVs ka tho koi bharosa hi nahin...When yesterday we felt everything will start falling into place, yesterday's precap & today's spoiler is giving feelings...I was confident that thought Dev had threatened Sona about her stay in Ishwari Nivas, nothing of that sort was going to happen and then comes today's spoiler. lagtha hai deeps ki banging your head on the wall waala smiley lend kar lena hoga.

Segments r uff.. ☺️She said" i love sona just how i loved u unconditionally"...The word love from her after so many years n tat too DECLARATION... is just enough to make Dev go weak n insane 😆...im waiting n waiting for his reactions...Bechare he wont know what hit him...He was firing her n she fired him with Pyar Bhara Andaz!...Ek teer se Do Nishaan..😳...Sona is surely reigniting the flames in him😉

Looking at current segment

It looks like Dev wants Sona to give undivided attention to Soha and be by her side constantly also ot reminded me of the sequence when Dev fell ill and Ishwari didnt want to leave his side even for a second..So Dev too probably wants the same from Sona as Soha is ill

Also As Dev said she doesnt love Soha enough and Sona replies saying I love her unconditionally like I loved you..This too indicates that just because she isnt sitting with her dosnt mean she doesn't love her enogh similar to the moment when Sona left Dev's side for few seconds and he was shiviring in cold and Ishwari scolds her how did she go leaving him alone ..She indcated niether her love was insuffitient at that time for Dev and nor for Soha this time

Ok ai am just making my assumptions ..This could be another parallel

I watched the segments. In one of them, Dev (i.e., Shaheer) says that Dev is acting out because he's tense for Soha, but also because he is insecure about Sonakshi, and jealous inside of Sona meeting other people (Jatin and suitors?)...but he doesn't feel he has the right on Sona now, so his irrational behaviour in the segment is a combo of worry for Soha and wanting Sona to be there for both Soha and himself. I guess we are reminded how Dev is selfish but only for his loved ones ("I need you only for myself.")

I couldn't understand what was he thinking? Ignored or just observing Big cha- chi fights.

Hi every one. First of all I like the yesterday's episode. It was good one. Dev and sona's realization has been stared. Dev is now able to relate his mistakes and able to feel how sonahas felt. And yesterday he hit the bulls eye. that they first blame each other instead of understanding each other. They are always late while understanding each other . Another important aspect is some where bijoy's introspection has started about him as a husband and father. Because Bijoy is also have his own limitations but he is a good man. And when bijoy will understand his flows then he will help him to understand dev and sona will understand that she and her baba is not perfect. And this will happen when bijoy will understand it. And there is one more difference in bijoy and Ishu is Bijoy will accept his fault and try to correct it and at this moment Ishu is not in the state and I think not in near

future.Like I have said in my very previous post dev's god image about his mother will be get broken when the prenup will come out and Sona's perfect father image will come out when bijoy will understand and accept his flows.

For another thing I am happy that dev is known that Golu is depend on the him. so he come to meet dev. I really hope sona get connected to dev and Golu get the love from there bigchi like he get from his bigcha. So if this happens then mami cannot use the golu against dev.

Now about the today's segment I will ok if they fight with each other and the understand their mistake unless and until ishu is not in the picture and according to the segment she is not there. Dev is having a image of a mother and sona is the different kind of mother and as per the segment maybe he feels that she has gone to meet jatin or talking to jatin so his jealousy and and care for soha is gave the affect but I am sure when he will see how sona is handling soha he will understand his mistake and she is a good mother. This is important because when Ishu will try to prove that sona is not a good mother because he doesn't feet in her definition I think and hope dev will take a stand in the favor of sona.

I am happy that they are fighting and some were understanding because there is no magic and they will start understating each other this the continuous process and it will happened gradually step by step and yesterday they first step is done.

I believe come what may he will never move away from Soha. He won't take it to heart even if Sona crosses the line in accusing him for anything and everything.

Grace, Chaaru and Itelidevara, Dev not picking up the call is more to do with what Sonakshi told him than his promise. When Dev made the promise, it was just he and Suhana there. Sonakshi is not aware of this promise. Dev as shown is insecure regarding his place in Suhaana's life. When he asked regarding Jothin's place in Suhaana's life, what Sonakshi told him was that Jothin was integral part of Suhaan's life, but he is not. That he is disposable.

Before he could come to terms with that, again in yesterday's episode, Sonakshi said that Dev was not good for anything, if he did one thing right, he would do the next thing wrong and ended by saying that Suhaana would never forgive him if anything happened to her baaba, who according to her is the best baaba. But when Dev was introduced to Suhaana by Sonakshi, Suhaana said that father for her meant someone like baaba. Here Sonakshi said that he is not like him, which Bijoy too said during haldi ceremony, that he cannot be a good father to Suhaana. Suhaana also has said multiple times that "her paapa is better than her imagination, but her mumma is the best".

All this has created a fear in Dev's mind. He feels as much as he needs Soha, she doesn't need him. That she doesn't miss him. Hence he came back to Golu whom he knew would need him. When Sonakshi said those things she was being BD rather than SM. There is one dialogue from the movie ghajini that I like. Amir Khan says it in the speech to his employees. It goes something like this -- "main karsaktha hoon is confidence, main hi karsaktha hoon is over confidence". Right now Sonakshi is going by "main hi karsakthi hoon" that is why I am the best mom over confidence.

I think this is where Bijoy asking Asha if he was a good husband and father and Suhaana calling Sonakshi world's best mother comes to play. Also Bijoy asking if he made any mistakes as a father is also very important as he feels he did not do anything wrong by separating Sonakshi from Dev nor he has done any mistake as a father.

It is Sonakshi who has been telling that Suhaana doesn't really need him in her life to Dev. Dev doesn't really know what Suhaana really feels about him or that she misses him. This is what is causing him to feel so insecure as he feels that Suhaana doesn't need him. That she is going to go away leaving him.

This is what needs to change and I think it will change. Till now Suhaana has questioned Dev, but not Sonakshi. Not really. But is Sonakshi prepared when Suhaana will say that her paapa is world's best paapa and she is not best mumma anymore. Will Sonakshi be able to answer the "whys" that Suhaana is going to ask regarding Dev in the future.

Hopefully I have conveyed what I wanted to say. Sorry if it is not structured. 😃
