Post leap, because of Soha and golu even my son started watching this show regularly because of which his sleeping time also got shifted from 9 to 10pm permanently. Y'day while watching the episode in the second add break he started asking me some Q's. I thought of sharing with you all here since even though he is just 8yrs, he really surprised me with his observations and understanding. Below is the Convo.

My son: why is Sonakshi and her father are always angry on Dev?

Me: they are hurt because of him in the past.

My son: even he is hurt right then why he won't shout or fight with them always.

Me: in any family when there is a difference of opinion then these kind of arguments happen. Even your dad and me also fight and argue sometimes. Isn't it?

My son: that's true. But you both listen to each other and you also respect dad's opinion. Then why Sonakshi never listen to Dev and doesn't respect him.

Me: may be she thinks she is right and that's why she is not listening to him. But why you think she is not respecting him?

My son: just now every one accused him of a robbery, when she got to know the truth then she didn't even apologize to him and started shouting and fighting with him. Isn't it bad manners? Why she thinks she is only right always?

Luckily his father came back from office and my son got busy with his avengers game on his dad's phone which literally saved me since I don't have any answer for his last question. Sometimes kids truly show us mirror with their thought provoking questions.

Today's episode was so much lighter then yesterday.. thank heavens.. Ronita spoke up and was transparent to Saurabh.. I see a couple who will communicate to each other.. DevAkshi could learn from them..and the cutest was how she apologized to Dev jiju..I think I like the way she said it... was the best scene today... along with that hug Dev was giving to Golu entering the kitchen!

And of course what Asha said to Dev and Sona ..

👏 they better start acting like a team and respecting each other in front of Suhana..otherwise the child looses respect for them.. sooner or later!

Coming to Jatin ... I think he already is a part of their family and Dev was the outsider .. I felt bad for him. Dev is trying hard I see his efforts but it's going to take time... 6 yrs is a lot to make up for and I know Dev will win Soha heart eventually he is a very amazing doting Father, it's hard for him surely, but then again he has to deal with this..it's a part of life! Soha has an uncle she likes and there's nothing wrong with that! In fact Dev should become friends with Jatin that would be a good start :)

Yes.. I agree! Sonakshi is in complete denial..Asha is too good she's going to see both sides here!

Today's episode was all about Dev trying to fit into a Bong family and his insecurities when he see Jotin-Suhana bonding? And I kept asking myself irritatedly,"What is the role of Jotin in Sonakshi's life"? I wrote on another thread regrading this too.

Bijoy lost his face today while Dev gained respect in the eyes of Ronita-Saurabh-Asha. One, for saving the couple from separation and second, for cooking a non-veg dish for his daughter. Bijoy fell hard today when after constant lame criticism, he found that the fish curry was indeed lip-smacking!!

Sonakshi has to learn to listen, Asha is trying to teach her that too.

Its only weeks since Dev has come into Suhana's life so he needs to accept the fact that Jotin is likely to have an upper hand here as Jotin has been with Suhana for six years (or a little less!). He is scared of losing his father status. What if Jotin and Sonakshi gets hitched. Then Suhana may start calling Jotin -papa- as she bonds so well with him. This makes Dev insecure and the pre-cap is all about it. He is keen to know how much is Sonakshi invested in the relationship. I also felt it's an important question that Sonakshi needs to ask herself. What does Jotin mean to her? A good friend? Nah...Then who is her ex-husband Dev, with whom she is having innumerable eye-locks and even shares a bedroom????

Would Asha step in to resolve this also?

Post leap in bose house during meals i have see dev is generally sitting on the chair of head of the family . It is the place which was never offered him pre leap also . Is this any kind of symbolism ?

I can understand Dev's feelings in today's episode but somewhere I feel he is overthinking and hurting himself in this process .My heart went out for him to see him so insecure.Is this Karama for loving his mom and wife unconditionally that he has no say in Soha's upbringing.

Dev needs to trust his love and Soha's love for him .Jatin is Soha's uncle and there will be uncles in our life who will be close to us but can anyone replace Dev in Soha's life .Soha was ready to leave her mom and everything so that she can stay with her dad .If Jain was so important to her she would have asked her mom to stay with Jatin just like she demanded Sona and Dev .

One more thing I noticed is Is Soha really close to Jatin .Dev is Golu's uncle too but he considers him more than Vicky and is ready to leave his parents for his BigCha but does Soha think like that about Jatin ?

Can Dev just accept the fact that Sonakshi is not in right frame of mind to understand his fears and she is not gonna assure him to make him feel better .Her words are gonna hurt him more .He needs someone who can understand him and unfortunately he had none on his life .He needs a friend in his life .I think talking to Jatin would have been a better idea than sharing his fears with Sona .

Can they bring back Bunty or any of his old friends who can provide him assurance without being biased

Uhh Though I throughly enjoyed episode but it left me with unsttelling feeling

I may be the odd one out here, but I remember having put forth these views when the post-leap episodes were being aired. I had debated at that time that just because a man and woman are sharing a room /hotel room, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are indulging in a physical relationship. This was basically at thetime of Shruti -Sonakshi confrontation. Its possible that Dev was lonely at that time and heartbroken, so found solace in alcoholand had indulged in serious flirtations with many willing and clinging girls!!

The Creatives have not gone any further and have left this to the viewers discretion. 😃
When a man indulges in such open flirtations leaving the rest to a persons imagination, an ex-wife has no reason to forgive him. If Sonakshi thought the worst of him in those encounters, she cannot be blamed for it. The fact remains that such actions are not forgettable and a high percentage of marriages end in divorces because of infidelity.

The reason I brought this up is that Sonakshi has allowed Dev to live in the Bose home for Suhana, so I have to presume that she has forgiven Dev. Secondly, Asha has now put Dev-Sonakshi in a room to clear their dofferences. Would Sonakshi question Dev's flirtatious or philandering ways and the effect it could have on Suhana, if any of his ex-girlfriends pop up again in his life? Just a thought. Would the Creatives clear the air about Dev's character? Because, if I would be in Sonakshi's place, I would never allow him to enter my life again - no matter what the emergency may be!!!!

This has been highly debated in the forum. Dev and Sona are both divorced and have the rights to move on , whether it's a steady relationship or one night stands is up to the person. Dev was still in love with Sona entire 7 years , he couldn't have any steady relationship with anyone else. Whether he had physical relationship is up for debate, yes he was in hotel rooms with girls but looking at the depth of his feelings for Sona even now, I find that unlikely. Sona on the other hand is completely disassociated from Dev and his feelings. Deep inside she would have been hurt when she saw Dev entering the hotel room. But she was fine , I don't think it affected her that much .
Since they are divorced, it cannot be called philandering . I am sure it will come up in the future, let's see how Dev justifies it

If bijoy is acting like a kid, he is being treated like a kid. A bomb to be handled with care. Why didn't even saurabh take the trouble of informing bijoy about the truth. Because they all know how immature and impulsive he can be.
