Not that the show is some great Chanakya jaap but it was total BS today.

If dev came down wearing nothing people would laugh at whom him or Sona? then why she needed to go to him? and then he fussed like the small baby he is and when she gave up he had the audacity to show aukat. like what attitude he keeps throwing around where does this come from??? As a bengali myself this show has made a mockery. of us I don't like to link media with a community or religion (i preached about this to tanhaiyyan thread not too long ago 😆) cause media dont do representation good and one character dont represent an entire community. but when the characters utter stuffs like you bangalee (gkb all the damn time), bengalees pagal hai and all that is disrespectful. I wish sony was a bit responsible as to what they telecast and do some editing. a lot of things can be cut from final footage which wont hamper the progress of story or the final product, so why show it? Just to rile viewers? Is there no such thing as responsibility? This is not about the two morons who would end up together eventually but about some communities. If we can be sensitive about religion why not geographical communities?

And dev was talking about soha got ready all by herself without a single help from him and yet he couldnt tone down his sarcasm, as opposed to sona who beamed proudly. just like he still make his mom wear his chaddi he wants his kid to hold his pinkie throughout life and never become older. Independent? Thats a cuss in front of him.

I blame it on Dev more than Ishwari and gkb.Sona was his choice.He brought her into his house.It was his responsibility to take care of her in a place which is alien to her.Rather dev was blinded by his mother's love and couldn't see Sona.Even if someone manipulates you, you must have enough trust on your partner.Was his love so weak that he couldn't protect her.I sometimes feel that Dev never liked Sona.It was just a fascination for him.He could be manipulated so easily.Whom he actually loves is Ishwari.

Even now he can't see his fault, and justifies his bad deeds as what Bijoy deserved.He can't see his mother's wrongdoings.I can't enjoy their love as Dev is still a cribber and Sona deserves a better person in her life.

The only good people i can find in this show are sona,asha,dida,elena and maybe sourabh...
