@sjain/mahua - I am so with you on the romance in front of a 6 year old. The fact that Dev & Sonakshi were not even embarrassed makes me very uncomfortable. Many 6 year olds sleep with their parents, some do not... However, I am sure the "man on top" never happens with the 6 year old watching/catching them.

Thanks Drama Queen <3 ..I understand what you are saying and partly agree to it too..Well in this scene I give them benefit of doubt they didn't realize that she woke up..and honestly I dont have much problem if parents share some lovey dovey sweet moments in front of kids..ermm how do I explain as in more like display of affection..kids should know how to be expressive of their feelings emotions towards their loved ones..so thoda bohot is fine and is good too..Kids see their parents so caring loving and affectionate so they understand the importance of it but the constant eyeing of the private moments between her parents is churning the wheels of her brain more and on rapid pace..and I dread this might result in to something very difficult for Dev Sonakshi SIGH..What if she asks for sibling because apparently for her ..Dev Sonakshi share special connection and are fulfilling her desires also they are now cordial with each other..Now if Golu too come to stay with them these 2 are gonna formulate much more scary plans putting Dev Sonkashi on tight spot. and It does worries me

And yes as an adult and women I would want to keep a certain section of my feelings emotions just a bit private and between me and my partner..I am sure you can understand..that :D

What a beautiful episode yet again!

Like it has been discussed much in detail in this thread ...Season 2 is about focusing on Sona's flaws as well!

Sonakshi has been brought up with an idealist upbringing where Bijoy heavily influenced her morals. Asha has played more of a role of a supporter, in the background.

With Bijoy's ideals and a place at which Asha was once, Sonakshi failed to balance. How Sona looks at the world is through Bijoy's eyes, White or Black. You either are happy or devastated. Bijoy though is a very good person, he strongly believes in sticking to his thoughts and is very rigid about those. . whereas Asha, being a mother and a wife, is automatically much more aware of the compromises and the reality of the situation.

It was wonderful how they talked about Bijoy being the best husband! How Sona could not see him from Asha's eyes because she never witnessed how Bijoy as a husband was- good or bad. It is upto Asha to decide. Sonakshi has always seen him as a father...and her parents as a couple.

Every couple has to go through highs and lows and the little amount of compromise involved is often unnoticed by others.

Asha has a soft corner for Dev and better understands him more than anyone else because She knows Sonakshi, with her rigid ideals inherited from Bijoy is partly responsible for the breakup.

She knows Dev was at fault, but she sees Sonakshi faltering as well. Today she calmly made Sonakshi understand that everything is NOT PERFECT! You have to make it perfect..

Like a child who is unaware of the world , Sona was shocked and a bit shaken that everything wasn't as rosy as she thought. Hopefully it will help her see their past in a new light.

I didn't personally like Dev raising his hand first before folding them together. It was overdone to add dramatic effects but negated how Dev is genuinely trying to respect Boses.

I haven't watched the episode yet, but I read the WU.

Asha once again proves to be the most sensible character on the show...the one who truly understands her family and knows how to value ad balance her relationships.

Sonakshi has grown up idolizing her Baba, and not noticing how Asha compensates for Bijoy's flaws and shortcomings. I truly hope this isn't a direct result of Bijoy's excessive pride in and praise for Sona. (Lesson in parenting? support and be proud of your children, but don't encourage arrogance? ).

Sonakshi dear, you may have a good Baba, but you actually have the world's best mother in Asha...(and possibly she is also the best wife to Bijoy, and best mother to both Sourabh and you...and the best MIL to Dev as well)

Time for Sona to start introspection?😊

Looking forward to reading the analyses from the brilliant writers on this thread!!

Did Dev genuinely raise hand to hit bijoy and then turned it into a pranam? Or was he from the first trying to fold his hands and due to past history they all got scared?

If Dev even for a moment thought about hitting bijoy then he is irredeemable in my opinion. Whatsoever the provocation might have been, Dev had no business even thinking about it. Yelling, shouting everything is OK considering the provocation but not hitting

I think Dev was trying to display he was angry, he did intentionally raise his hands to scare Bijoy maybe. Either this, or he was mad angry and controlled himself later. It could not be that the family assumed because he raised only only hand that time, had he intended to fold his hands and was being restricte dby the past, he would bring both his hands up

Whatever it was, it disappointed me.

Whatever it was, it disappointed me.

Is this the hero we are supposed to root for? How about if Sonakshi shows one slap to Ishwari and then folds hands later? After all Ishwari has done doctorate in provoking. Will Dev be expected to understand Sona?

Why are the cvs trying to make the Devakshi love story repulsive and abhorrent for the audience?

PS: I know it might be said that Dev ultimately learnt to control his anger but in my opinion this execuse would have worked if he had tried to raise his hand on Sona or Soha.

Not a father figure. Not done. It should be ingrained in your dna that such acts are unthinkable. Especially for a guy who comes from a so called conservative family.

Asha stopping Sona from calling out Dev was pathetic in my opinion. The message and lesson was right but at this point of time with Dev's latest stunt in picture it was just not done.

I absolutely loved Asha- Sona convo today. Firstly Sona vented out what she had inside her all these years, about maami n ishwari and she is not gonna take any nonsense in Ishwari niwas i feel. Then how Asha explained her the meaning of relationships. Its upto her to decide whether Bijoy is best husband or not. Every relationship has many faces and a person is a daughter, wife, mother, mother in law etc etc at the same time. And its not good to judge a person from a single relationship. Doesn't we do in Dev's case everytime? He is a bad husband over shadows everything else. N to what extent he was a bad husband. Few incidents can prove whether a person is good or bad husband? What i like about Asha is she herself also took the onus of the relationship. She mentioned about Bijoy's anger issues and her silence but said that they both adjusted and no human is perfect. I just the dialogues of that scene. So real, subtle with an essence of lessons for life. Just loved it.

Personally, i don't have very rosy or amazing thoughts about marriage but after watching this show i have at least tried to look at the other side of the coin and how we cannot just look only at the one dimension only. :)

I think Dev reacted too harshly. He shouldn't have said that to Asha and also that hand folding scene was dramatic. But he was not trying to hit Bijoy but was folding his hands in anger, like bahut ho gya ab types. I hope Sona or Asha will make him understand that his family did the same thing with Boses 7 years back.

N baba toh -_- Golu ko bahar bhijva diya. 😭

Lastly, y do i feel custody track is on its way. With the rate GKB n her red are instigating Ishwari, no doubt she will go for it. N then prenup will come out.

If at all, Ishwari files a custody case..it will end up making things worse for her. Sonakshi already has the cards on her side, legally. Thank God, she made Dev sign those papers..Soha will be cut off from Dev forcefully ( :-( ) and emotional outburst will be seen between Dev and Ish.

Ishwari's grounds will shaken once again..

I think all this will happen once Dev and Sona are in better terms, at the end of their stay in Dixit house. And they will be back to square one again

I still think Dev overreacted...it wasnt a big thing to get offended about..Bijoy had voiced worst earlier n this is nothing in comparison...Why was the scene of handfolding bought in...I didnt like the way it was shown or picturised recalling thee bad times...When earlier slap was accidential...this one luked like a reminder...If not!!...Please someone throw a light what was the motive of Dev there...i despised it...The makers knew what they were actually intending to point to the audience here..which left a bad taste...

N Prenup n custody is on the way i believe. .
