Tia ppl are worst than this I want to share this horrific story which occurred to my cousin sister my fathers brother daughter .
My cousin sister was sweetest of all in my family
In the village they got her married at the age of 17 u know how's it was back 25 yrs back
There was no such law for minors marriage.
She got married to a greedy fellow who only tortured her she had 3 kids in short span of 5 yrs 2 girls 1 boy .
That man was worst person and u know worst were her parents who didn't care and used to send her back beating her red and blue both ways she was tortured and when my father and other brothers sat with him and advised him my fathers brother was just hopeless my cousin stayed with us for few days till whole family try to mend her husband even he was ok with it .
Later we don't know what happened after 3 months she again with kids return to the village irony is my brother was traveling in the same bus when he asked her any problem she just smiled and went to her house but later ppl found her dead body along with kids in the well then when we enquired about to my uncle he said we sent her back and asked her not to return and she took a drastic step and village ppl hit my uncle black and blue and from on we never saw his face .
Just imagine her own parents didn't support her leave her hubby he is happily married he married with in a month 😭
Her face flashes her now also she was my big sister she was so intelligent my uncle didn't allow her to study because she is a women such losers do exist in all families .
Irony is her own sister was again married to drunk greedy man again ( uncle didn't learn lesson from first tragedy )but her sister is strong she came out leaving her hubby she is in village feeding her kids with the help of village ppl earning working in the fields of others .
Women should be independent
Happy women's day to all be strong more power to womenhood

OMG... Such a horrific way to treat a woman as if she was just a vessel carrying the baby. Now her broken carcass can be thrown out and her entire identity can be wiped out. But while that is an extreme case, isn't that mentality shown on screen?

I haven't seen Ishwari apologize to Sona or Dev for turning Sona away, but for turning away Soha who happened to be on her mother's arms. Or Dev apologizing to Sonakshi for his mother's manipulation. Nope. Instead all is forgotten and forgiven between the duo even though the wronged party is still Sonakshi and Soha.

And I yet to see Dev giving Sonakshi her due respect as the mother who raised this amazing little girl who is charming everyone with her manners and behaviour. Nope, he is taking credit there which he doesn't deserve while insulting her mother.

Not once he asked Sonakshi how she coped being in debt, homeless, pregnant and jobless with her whole family's responsibility on her shoulder. But he wanted to ask Soha her 0-6 years experience. She says that she doesn't remember 0-2, but that part Dev doesn't want to know. Why would he? Then he will have to hear Sonakshi's struggle for seven years which will then give her also a hard past just like his. Which means he can't use his past as extra brownie points anymore for him and his mother to justify their actions.

hi all! i have read tia's thread before but i just wanna say this thread is always awesome. the humour and the analysis is SO on point. everything about yesterday's bit at the dixits' minus golu and soha pricked me like rolling in a shrub of poison ivy. everytime dev opens his mouth i feel like hes still drunk but just handles his drink better like a seasoned pro instead of the newb he was. starting from his status of faith- theres nothing wrong in not believing in God. my father doesnt and neither does my husband. but prancing between belief and disbelief according to your mood, to convey your daard and angst is just silly and kind of mocks people who dont believe- like you have to emotionally unstable to be an atheist. 😕 red gold red k daddy and crack addict k bare mein no discussion, just that ive come to an understanding that Ish needs sadness in her life like crack addicts need crack. and she starts spasming and creating 'alternative facts', as it is fashionably known, in her head when she doesnt get her fix. dev's only job in life is to reaffirm the "facts" through silence cos apparently, unlike what history has shown us time and again in the past, silence is apparently equivocal to dissent now. the only bareable parts were outside the dixit home. other than bijoy's demented screaming. hes just an old crabby man nowadays. i dont understand his issue with dada. it was cute teasing thats turned into an ugly issue now. he seems more desperate for dada's wedding than dada himself. i like ronita but agar they deny rishta, will that mean dada will never get a girl? this is india, when has it been difficult for a fat guy to get a wife? 😕
after yesterday's episode, I have come to a somewhat sad conclusion. when i was young and broke up with a boyfriend i had cared about, my azoba who was a great fan of urdu and farsi sufi poetry and often tried to make poetry as such, said to me- sahiban har ishq muqammal saath se nahi, par saath muqammal ishq se hota hain. mohabbat jis roop mein karo, usi roop mein pura hota hain. dev and sona remind me of that. they love each other and thats beautiful. but that does not mean they need to be or should be together for their love to be complete. its already complete in the beautiful form of soha. and maybe thats what the color of their love has changed to. honestly, i want dev to find the culmination of his love in soha and for sona to move on, date, find love, marry and start another family. i dont need soha to get another dad, she has one. but sona is honestly too perfect for dev and dev is too perfect for everyone- no normal person can understand such perfection. so its perhaps better if he continues his single and ready to minglehood and who knows maybe he find someone of his takkar who'll remind ishu of her nani. just sona who is basically a simple clean soul is not that person. and i dont say that with sarcasm or resentment. i genuinely want them to be happy. but dev will never be the person who can keep sona happy and sona will never be able to satisfy dev. their expectations from partners and life are misaligned. and not every love story's happily ever after is in being with each other. maybe krpkab will live upto its reputation of being different and end with dev and sona happy in their own lives with soha being part of both families. thats also a color of love- moving onto a friendship of mutual respect and camaraderie in parenthood. at this stage a rekindling will be childish and typically hindi serial. ish's punishment and redemption will be in sona's 'complete' family and dev's 'incomplete' one.

You people make me laugh, bring tears in my eyes with your courage and make me feel proud to belong the category of women. When I hear stories of women being mistreated, my heart cries. I can't imagine why the people who bring us into the world are treated so horribly.
My aunt shared something today with me I'd like to share with you.

"If we must celebrate a day for women, let us celebrate freedom from stereotypes, from expectations, from idolisation, from sacrifice...

Stop congratulating women for being the secret behind a successful man... Start saluting them for being successful!

Stop saying the mother is sacred for all the sacrifices she makes...Try to reduce those sacrifices!

Stop telling women they are beautiful... Try telling them it's not important to be beautiful!

Stop praising her roles as mother, wife, daughter, sister...Celebrate her as an individual, a person, independent of relationships.

Stop justifying her necessity to multi task... Give her a chance not to!

Stop these constructs which are aimed at making her strive for an impossible balance... Let her be inadequate and happy!

Stop making her look at herself through a conveniently male viewpoint. Let her be imperfect, whimsical, irresponsible, boorish, lazy, fierce, opinionated, loud, flabby, ungroomed, adventurous, unpredictable, unprepared, impractical...

Be bold, be happy, be free, be You!"

We don't need to be celebrated or patronised for this one day in the year. Let us be ourselves in our imperfect insane emotional self throughout the year. That's all!!!

Happy Women's Day!

@bold: 👍🏼 All of this!! Yes..
Dev should continue his single and ready to mingle status 😎 and Sona can choose her lovelife if she finds her love again.. 😳

I agree rekindling Dev-Sona is only fantasy and to satisfy the innocent girls/boys out there believing in happily ever after fairy tales 😆
