Today I felt Ishwari was made a scapegoat by CVs .I know there is lot of dislike for Ishwari and I totally get it but can we really blame her for what she did ..,

Let's see from her PoV ...she had seen her son suffer because of breakup and was recovering a bit because of Golu then she sees his ex wife come back. .From her PoV she feels they should be away from each other for their good so she restricts Sonakshi from contacting Dev .I could only see a over possessive concerned mother dear not a manipulative mother .Was she really aware that Sonakshi came here for introducing Soha to them ? Is it fair to blame her completely and punish her for entire life for one mistake which she was not aware of .

Did CVs try to cash on the hate viewers have for Ishwari ..this scene definitely looks forced .Not a planned one in my opinion ...

Can I dare say that Sonakshi had a role too .. I agree any women would be humiliated when she is asked not to enter and I feel for her but again her agenda was not to go back to the home but to introduce her daughter to his father for her daughter's sake ... ..why didn't she try to contact Dev again when she knew Dev was not aware of Soha's existence (the first scene after leap confirms ) .Unlike Dev all along she knew how Dixit family was and also she knew Dev's attachment for kids .Why didn't she trust her husband and let others control their life ...atleast she could have let him know when he was dying ..Dev had a point when he said he would have died without knowing about his daughter. Was it right to punish him for others mistake just because they happened to be his relatives ...did her insecurity play a role too as she had numerous opportunity to let Dev know after she came to Mumbai

I know many won't agree but among the three I felt more for Dev because unknowingly both the women let him down ...one in the name of protecting him .

P.S This is just my POV if you don't agree I completely understand but if you want to get personal then I would like to add thanks for your time but not interested in fighting with you guys so I will not be responding to your post but feel free to post .

Ishwari isn't entirely wrong. It is unfortunate that she who forced her son to choose then ended up asking Sona not to come back.

Didn't Sona say she sent messages to Dev and he labelled that as a lie today? Didn't she do her best? Why is her best not good enough? We all are just mediocre aren't we? Why do we expect perfection from her? That said, wasn't she dignified in her response to Dev today?

Both Dixit and Bose families are very different - in their beliefs, values and upbringing. That shows in both Sona and Dev.

Unfortunate for Dev He is impulsive and jumps to conclusion. I am not entirely sure how Sona let him down though. To me, she has done better than what I would have done in her shoes. I would have been an emotional wreck.

Watching Dev is watching an accident happening in slow-mo. Other than say a prayer, one can do nothing about it.

Who says dev is getting punished for others mistake?
Its his mistakes that he is getting punished for...
He himself let his god to control his life...now the duffer should suffer

But i agree sona should have kept calling kept coming to dixit house everyday and get insulted so that she is accepted by family some day for giving their waaris...

I agree with the later part of your post.
But how is ishwari right? She is the only person behind Devakshi separation, then breakup and finally divorce. And even today I don't understand the reason for disliking Sonakshi.and after watching tonight's episode ,I m hating her more.
She was not aware of Sona coming to Dixit house with Soha.So what? Sona was once a part of that family and kya use dev ke pyar ke bare mein nahi pata? Ishwari ek pathar dil lady hai.

I completely agree with you here... Ishwari was being true to her character and wasn't totally wrong...
However, Sona wasn't true to her character really... When she took all the effort to come from Kolkata with a 6 month old child, then why did she not call Dev in the first place? Why did she not try to speak to Elena at least to tell her intentions... It was really contrasting to her nature to just return from the door on the instructions given by someone on phone without even confirming that the message had come from Dev!
In the past, she had always confronted Dev directly in office so many times for small issues.. This was such a big thing then why did she let it go without any confrontation...

PS: Lekin agar aisa ho jata toh post leap story kaise banti 😆😆

Ishwari ne pehle Dev ka pyar cheena and then beti😡 So, she is the culprit and not Sonakshi.
All expectations of reaching out, calling Dev, understanding him, not leaving when kicked out, not hiding Soha's truth, forgiving him for keeping truth of her own health, forgiving him when he secretly tried to get fertility treatments done to her, bullying her into fertility treatments cause mom will throw a tantrum otherwise.. etc. etc. etc... from Sonakshi. but none from overbearing, greedy, selfish, self absorbed, abnormal mother.. Ishwari. Ishwari.. who single handedly ruined her spineless maatra bhakt's life!!!! And, let's not forget.. she is the one who raised him to be who he is as a grown man who should be making his own decisions and honoring the vows of love and marriage he took with a woman who forsake everything for him!!!!

And, definitely looks no expectations from Dev. All pains, all hurts, all sorrows are his. He only sees his pain, what happened to him cause of Sonakshi. What about sonakshi's pain, her hurt, her self esteem? Her being alone, penniless in the world, with burdens of her own parents, and then finding out she is pregnant.

ha... and what if Sonakshi died in childbirth? then what? did Dev ever look for her, find out what happened to her? Did he care if she lived or died? No, he didn't cause he was busy being alcoholic, womanizing and letting his cheat brother run his company to the ground wearing fashionable clothes, driving fast bikes, flirting with nephew's teachers.. while Sonakshi was rebuilding herself, her family, giving birth to his child, raising his daughter with truth and diginity👏

I can't believe this that you can defend Dev indirectly as well...
And for doing that, you can defend Ishwari as well if required...

I will.give you my POV:
Sona thought that its Dev who asked her to leave and never turn back...But she also knew that he was not told abt the baby so the same was shown in the first episode post leap...

So it should be clear that why Sona did not called him...or if still she should have thought ki it was not Dev..then also after hearing that she is not allowed to meet Dev, its fine for her to assume that nothing has changed in Dixit house and she will still not be accepted...(Note: She did not knew that Dev has changed)...

It takes loads of courage and will.power for anyone to get back to a person who asked you (keeping myself at Sona's place):

* to " GET OUT
* you married me for money
* tum to ek achi bahu bhi nahi ban payi..tod diya mera ghar
* ek aur responsibility puri nahi kar payi..maa nahi ban paayi..acha hua...kyunki agar banti to ek achi maa nahi banti..
*Apne bhai ki life set karne ke liye shaadi ki

If you say he was drunked and did not meant any of above then why Sona should have trusted him when he said that he has not made those prenup papers.
In drunken state he accepted tht he asked Vicky to throw her family out...and you want Sona to still believe him...

Coming to present scenario..

What did he do today.???

Did not trusted Sona when she said that she came back.

Did not shouted at Ish for not letting Sona meet him..Not even once said that even if Sona was alone..who gave her the right to send her back.

Not once thought about Sona's struggle..( I knw him, he will do that in future) but I don't go blind on my favourite character...

I will ask you one thing...Pre leap...post the seperation thing, when the next day he came to his senses, did he even once thought of where boses are and in what condition.???He loved Sonakshi...This was the least expected from him..

P.S...I have always supported Dev..but not at stake of others pain...I have always been neutral...and today also...but agar kisi ka fault hain to we should voice it out...

Totally my POV...

@bold. I am happy that Sona tried. And she was definitely dignified in her response today. But I do not think she did her best. It was important she do better than mediocre because this was about the well being of her daughter. Sona can assume Dev didn't want to see her ever again but she didn't have the right to assume that Dev didn't want to know about his daughter.

Personally it felt like a very half hearted attempt. She shows up when she doesn't even know if Dev is home and hears from the watchman and just leaves. C'mon, you made a decision to say that your daughter deserves to have the love of a father-- you have to find a way to tell the father. In this day and age its not believable the she didn't have the ability to get a message to Dev. Surely Dev didn't change his phone number.

I think the point that Sona made to Jatin that she was afraid of Dev taking Soha away was the main one. She didn't really want them to meet and the moment the Dixits gave her an opening she took it. If she really believed her motivation for taking Soha to Dev, then there would've been no reason to hide Soha from Dev when she moved back. Especially when he almost died without knowing about Soha.

A parent isn't the owner of a child, they are its guardian or trustee. They have a responsibility to do what is in the best interests of the child even if its against their own best interests. I cannot explain to you how much I loved Dev today when he said that if need be he would keep himself away from Soha for her well being.

Nitu I have felt the same and expressed my view in Sam and DQ's thread. I thought Sona should have reached Dev personally or called him rather than visiting Dixit mansion. And I feel bad for Supriya who has to swallow so much negativity due to the Charecter she is playing. For CVs it became a habit to show her in such a way.
Yes. Dev suffered a lot stayed away from his daughter for no fault of his. How painful it is to know that his daughter came to his doorstep but can not reach him!
