😆 True PP and astrix.

One Bose family scene, and my emotional attachment bounces back like crazy 😆

Btw, PP - Who would say that Elena is not a direct relative of Dadi but Dadi's DIL's niece. 😳 I cannot, in my sane mind, imagine Ishwari having such selfless loving bond with even Sona's sibling Saurabh, forget about first cousin woh cheez kya hai ? 😆

The way Dadi got excited in last episode seeing Elena, made my so emotional. Dadi is a #DadiGoal. 😳😳

And even after all these, I wonder if still people would think that Dev's decision to choose Sona over his Maa was not a drunkard hangover decision but a serious one. 😆 Give the guy his stability or lifeline back, he would come running to his mother. If next morning after the hangover was gone, Dev had found out that Sona is not gone and still they are having a happy life, again his running to his 'Maa' would start with a series of 'Sorry' for choosing Sona over her and that 'this Raja Beta' has failed in his duty blah blah. 😆

I always say that Dev Dixit is rude and detached from Ishwari maata ONLY because of his separation from his lifeline - Sonakshi. Dev 2.0 is emotionally void. But if we want an ALIVE Dev Dixit (which can happen only with reunion with Sona, and now may be with Soha), then he would be back being the same old shadow of Ishwari Dixit. Dev and Sona can never have a life of their own, because Dev is never going to cut-off on his umbilical cord when in sense and not in torn jeans. 😆

But that doesn't mean supporting wrong characters or deeds like locking women up in an empty office, or coming in an award show and doing tamasha in drunken state, or banging doors at midnight or throwing a woman out of the hotel room at midnight without shoes on - etc are acceptable.

If you see this thread, almost everyone of us still waiting to see Dev and Sona reunion, why we criticize Dev 24x7, because we expect CVs to read even 10% of our expectations and mould Dev's character in a way so that he becomes worthy of Sona. At the end of the day, if you see, 80% of us are actually pining for Devakshi reunion. But justifying wrong acts, blaming wrong persons to facilitate the process of what we want - I cannot do that anymore. I am ready to admit even I am hopeless when I expect Dev babu to change after all these and show ending with a happy note, but that will never prompt me to write something in support of Dev. It's not about being shallow. But today's virtual world DO reflect the Mob Mentality in a whole, and Twitter is a big proof of that. 😕 Yes they are faceless figures behind the curtain of a laptop screen, but still they exist right ? Wanting for a fantasy is not wrong, but it's the journey that counts, not destination. 😛

Hey I have absolutely no issues with Dev bashing or Sona bashing or any character bashing for that matter. For the simple reason that they are not real ppl. They are just fictional characters and I never get why any of us should get hurt over criticism or even name calling so long as its confined to fictional characters. My only point was that right and wrong depends on perception. And perception to a large extent depends on the circumstances and life experiences of a person. So why judge real people over their perception of fictional characters is all I was saying. Like I said, some probably just watch for entertainment while some may love Dev and some may relate to Sona. IMO, I just think its okay mainly because I feel everyone from the cast to the makers are busy making money (am pretty sure they care a damn about social responsibility or what they make their characters do on screen) while we are busy judging each other for something which is essentially fiction.

They will show anything so long as they get money out of it. This show is no different and I realized it the moment they dealt with the infertility track in the most insensitive manner possible. I have already mentioned a million times that the only reason I want Dev-Sona together is because its fiction and am shallow 😆 I cant speak for others, can I? What if ppl actually relate to Dev? What if they think its okay to understand him and support him? Which is probably why they analyze and relate it to real life incidents. In which case they are not consciously misleading any teen on the forum cos they believe in it themselves. And I believe its unfair to judge them. Cos its their opinion at the end of the day. We may disagree, we may debate but why judge is all I was saying. Cos again, like I said, its a fictional show and I think its just futile judging real people over their opinions on fictional characters. And opinions are highly subjective at the end of the day. Some watch for entertainment, some watch out of habit, some watch cos they relate to Dev, some watch cos they love Sona- so be it. Thats all am saying. Again, we can agree to disagree 😆

Exactly let everyone relate to the characters whichever they want to and open up their own emotions, criticize or justify the characters and their situations... Yes, let's not judge each other based on that... We will just share our thoughts and opinions... And everyone is opinionated and take pride in their own way of analyzing the show... No two way about it... I'm neither on twitter nor reading other posts (filtered based on the topic title itself 😉😆)... So I don't give much thought about the other side... But can feel the general pulse of the forum based on the dynamics shared here and there... As always being the matured ones, ignoring is the best way😉... And giving emphasis on our opinion without mocking others - I'm up for it! 👍🏼

I guess I'm not the only one who would never want Dev-Sona to be together, I knew right from the start that they're not meant for each other and this isn't going to work. If it were me, I would have never ever married Dev even in my wildest dream and this is even if I loved him as much as Sona did. I'm a practical person and I do know that love alone cannot equate all other important factors like respect, trust and honesty in a relationship. I know that this is a tellyshow and the leads have to unite in the end but I don't want any real girl to accept such a relationship. Its taxing and we forget our self-worth in no time while compromising becomes our lifestyle.

While everyone is mentioning about their crushes, I too have some and my only bad-boy crush ever is on Prem of KZK. I've watched many regressive shows and I've always admired only the FL's who were strong enough to sustain crap in the name of love, my eyes won't even catch those ML's who are themselves nothing but crap. My crush has always been gentlemen like Adi of PKDH, Viren & Virat of EHMMBH, Suraj of DABH, Sid of JR, Mayank of MJHT and we have many more examples of gentlemen. I personally find men who are tender at heart as more attractive and cool.

@Guddi @astrix

Good discussion.
I am not sure if I mocked anyone. Don't remember. I usually generalize the posts regd a topic or thought.

If I did , I genuinely apologise. I don't judge any real person by what they feel for the character. Mostly, its difficult to separate the actor from the character and hence sometimes in TV, we merge them both.

When I see a show, I try my best to think on the characters sans the actors...just like when I read novels. But at the end of the day, even I want the good looking couple to reunite , if not for anything else , for pure entertainment value.

I think if my memory does not fail me, in TV world there is one couple which was repeated successfully by the same PH...hiten-gauri. May be bcoz they are a real life couple too. In Kutumb and then in KSBKBT and in some other horror show too(don't remember the name but related to vampires...yaad aaya 'Kya haadsaa kya haqeeqat')...all of those are Ekta shows. She repeated her favourite pair thrice...even now I think she brought them together in one show on Colors.

So, if the pair is good enough, they do get repeated. 😃

Even I admit I had fangurl crush on Mr. Bajaj and still do. 😳

Ok to summarize - We all agree that mocking and judging real people is not accepted.
Also, let some of us hope that women finally learn to know their rights and fight for it instead of succumbing to fate and tolerate tortures - emotional or physical 😊

Okay guys,I have a question for you all.
Ishwari and Sonakshi are drowning in the Pacific Ocean and Dev can save only one of them.
Whom would he choose??😉😆

Oooh, are we discussing the old shows aka Ekta ka zamana? *jumps onto the ship* I think I need not emphasize on the craze there was for Sujal-Kashish, Angad-Kripa, Anurag-Prerna/Rishab-Prerna, Jai-Bani, etc back then. Taking the following cases into consideration because these were the one's I followed, more or less. 😆

Mihir-Tulsi.
Pratham-Gauri.
Sujal-Kashish.
Angad-Kripa.
Jai-Bani.
Anurag-Prerna.

I was legit crazy for Pratham-Gauri, Sujal-Kashish and Angad-Kripa out of the lot mentioned. Watched the rest without any emotional investment and didn't follow them religiously like I did these three couples. In both cases, both male leads and female leads have been such certified *beeps* throughout the show, at many many instances. After a point, I transformed into a completely male-lead pro-lead activist from a shipper because of one sole reason. Both Sujal and Angad did not love any other woman except their respective love interests till the last episode of the show. That is one thing that remained constant as long as the show lasted. Everything they both did, good, bad, ugly and all of it was because of and for just one person alone. Both shows reached a point where I only stuck by to watch Kashish and Kripa rot because tbh, their characters had turned into such 🤬 that I can't even begin to describe. 😳 I knew they'd get together in the end but I only watched for the sadistic pleasure (yes, that again 😆) I received on having seen both of them suffer so bad for having wronged Sujal/Angad at levels that requires me to curse and cuss badly even now. Pratham, Sujal, Angad (specifically) paid heavy prices for their screw ups and redeemed themselves out of love and for their love.

If we're to compare these couples with the one's we have got in this era. Say, Arnav-Khushi, Rudra-Paro, Maan-Geet, Armaan-Riddhima, Asad-Zoya, Ishaan/Rizwan-Preet, Shravan-Sumo, Dev-Sonakshi, they're far better examples because their respective shows in totality weren't AS SHITTY as Ekta's were and are. Sure though, Gul comes right at the second position after Ekta when it comes to dishing out crap. In that sense of comparison, I think Dev's track record is still pretty clean. My biggest and perhaps only issue with him is that he's shown me no redeeming qualities while all of the other male leads (despite the shit they caused and suffered themselves) had gone through redemption and repentance phases. My personal favourites out of these recent ones would have to be Armaan-Riddhima, Rudra-Paro and Asad-Zoya because no matter the shittiness, the screw ups, the everything ugly, their love spoke VOLUMES more than anything else.

Edited.

I realized I forgot one insanely popular couple in today's times.

Atharv and Vividha.

Haven't followed the show or them right from the start till today but from what I have seen, these would should go down in the list of best love stories ever on Indian tv. The best part? These two have never wronged each other but the people, society and the world around them is just deadly against the union of these two and just won't let them have any peace in their lives, individually or when together. Bechare bas milne hi waale hote hain ki duniya inki waat laga deti hai. :(
