Today's episode starts with Bose family because all actions are happening there. Who wants to see Dixit family's whiny drama anyway? Not me.
Bijoy guesses absolutely right why Elena was "allowed" to come there after seven years. Sonakshi first doesn't think so. But later agrees that Bijoy is right. She says that Soha doesn't want to meet Dev. But if Dev finds out he will come in front of Soha. Soha is not prepared for this.
Me: You have no idea darling, what your daughter is prepared for. She can handle anything. After all, she is your daughter. But can't blame you there. She is also her secretive father's secretive daughter.
Dev constantly calls Elena and keeps on texting her. Elena tells him that not yet. It will take time.
Elena tells everyone that she has a son. Sona is surprised to hear that Elena became mother so soon. Elena tries to show Golu's pic but the cell phone battery goes off. Sona can't see Golu's pic.
Me: Darling, aap to iss baare mein kuch bolo hi mat. Aapne kaun sa saalbhar wait kiya tha bachhe paida karne mein? Kam se kam Elena ki to majboori thi ki uske saas ne uski pill badal di. Aap to apne saas se brownie points kamane ke chakkar mein maa banna chahti thi.
Sourabh and Ronita comes down and both agrees for marriage. Bose and Mondol family hug.
Me: You know meri hamesha ki pet peeve hain ki jab main movie dekhne jaati hoon to movie se pehle itna ad aata hain ki meri three quarter extra-buttered popcorn aur pepsi movie shuru hone se pehle hi khatam ho jaata hain. Yahan bhi yehin problem hain. Interesting portion ka wait karte karte meri pepsi aur patience dono khatam ho rahee hain. Waise bhi supply to mere paas dono ka kam hain. Stalker bhaiya kidhar hain?
Bijoy was looking at Golu's pic when Dev sends Elena sms which shows up on top of the pic. Bijoy reads Dev's sms before battery goes off. He doesn't say anything until Mondols leave. But after they leave, he blasts Elena for coming to their house after so many years as Dixit's spy and tells Asha, Sona and Dida what Elena did. He tells Elena to go and never return. Elena leaves crying.
Dev sees Elena coming out crying and asks her what did she find out. Elena tells him what happened. Dev tells her is she a little girl? She should have made some excuse. Elena requests him to let them be today. But Dev tells that he gave her a "chance" to join them in their happiness. Now he will have to do something. He tells her to stop crying and go home and he will come after he finds about Soha. Elena leaves weeping.
Me: Elena, I wish I could feel for you. But just like Bhaiya, you are paying the price of the choices you made. You had been taking Bose family's unconditional love and trust for granted too many times. How many free pass did you expect to get? You ran away with Vicky without informing them, they forgave you. You cut all relationship with them for seven years when they lost everything, they still welcomed you. But when you agreed to spy on your own family? That's the lowest you could fall. Now you have lost the family who would have been there when you needed them without asking anything in return for the family who only kept asking you to do their bidding. You don't know your husband's reality yet. Where will you go when you find out that? You also, just like Bhaiya, threw away Diamonds for glass pieces. You can put a broken glass together. But once trust is broken, it never comes back together the same unmarked way.
And Bhaiya, what a way to treat a pawn. Now that she is no longer useful for you obviously her tears are not even worth noticing. Kudos. What upbringing you got from your mother. So obviously you can use people for your own end to get to the daughter you may or may not have. But God forbid, Bijoy Bose does the same for the daughter he has. The whole world won't stop blaming him.
Elena comes home still crying and everyone asks her what happened. She says that her family was so lovingly hugged her but she messed up. Ishwari asks her what she found out about Dev. Elena says that she was thrown out because Dev asked her to spy on them about a little girl and she got caught. Ishwari is shocked hearing about the girl.
Me: Elena, you have lived with the Dixits for so long, you have become like them Dev asked you to spy on your family and you agreed? Dev never had any loyalty to anyone but his family, so he will ask you to spy on them is not surprising. But you? You are the one who agreed to betray your own family. So don't blame Dev here for your shitty nature.
And Ishwari, what a lovely way to console a weeping girl. You and Dev no one gives a damn about your pawns, do you? She is crying so hard and both of you are thinking how soon she can tell you if she got the job done or not. She might be a disloyal daughter. But you two have no loyalty to the girl who picked your family over hers either. That's the price I guess Elena has to pay for choosing the ungrateful family like yours.
Bhaiya gets frustrated and jumps into Sona's room and sees Soha and Sona's pictures. But nope. The two dots are still not getting connected. He starts going through documents. He finds their wedding album and the proof he needed to connect the two dots. He remembers the relevant information now that he knows the spoiler (P.S. Suhana was born in Kolkata. But that also means Sonakshi came to Delhi to tell Dev about Suhana. Think about it before blaming her). He gets very happy to find that he has a daughter. But even more happy to know that Sonakshi was pregnant with his child.
But he gets caught. Soha finds him there (told you, Soha got her mother's detective skills). He gets teary eyed and waves at her. But hides when he hears Sonakshi coming.
Me: Bhaiya, I understand what you are feeling. Just imagine, this strong, independent, compassionate bundle of joy is yours. How lucky you are Bhaiya that Sonakshi raised your daughter, eh? What an incredible daughter to claim as your own, no?
Soha promptly reports back to her mother that Golu's BigCha was in her room. But Sona says that is he BigCha or Bigfoot that she sees everywhere. So Soha tries to piece back how did he came from window. Sona thinks may be he is superman but doesn't want to meet her.
Me: *Snort* if only you knew Sonakshi.
Anyways, guess what Bhaiya does next?
Yep.
He goes back home practically twirling in the air and he emotionally hugs his mother. He says that he is no longer a son, a brother, failed husband but also a father.
Me: Bhaiya, got enlightened. He admitted that he is a failed husband. This is truly a miracle.
He tells Ishwari that he has a daughter and she is the cutest thing in the world. Ishwari is happy seeing her son happy. Radha and Vicky fumes.
Me: It is very emotional scene. But since I am a realist and I know Ishwari. Why do I have the feeling that Ishwari got a new toy for her son to lure him back under her thumb. After all Sonakshi toy is useless now because she knows Ishwari's reality. Now Bhaiya handed over another innocent weapon to the psycho lady to use as a pawn.
Bhaiya, you could not control your mother from constantly interfering, lying and going behind your back to harass Asha and Sona despite your repeated warning. How will you control the situation, Bhaiya when you couldn't control her after a million insults?
Do you think she is going to sit still waiting for you to handle the situation? This is the tool she was waiting for seven years to get you back in her control. Now she doesn't even need to share you with another woman because as long as she dangles the toy in front of you, you will dance to her tune again. And you handed it to her.
This is the time I wish you had a friend like Jatin to go to. Your family is not the family with whom you share information without thinking about what they might use against you.
Wait until Vicky unleashes on your unsuspecting daughter.
Precap: Dev asked Soha what she knew about her father. Soha tells him that she never met him. But her mother said he is a good man. Dev is pleasantly surprised. Dev asks Soha if she knows who her father is. Soha tells him Dev Dixit. Dev is surprised. He asks if she doesn't want to meet her father.
Me: Now you know, why it was a great idea for Sonakshi to tell Soha everything? Honesty is underrated in today's world. But it is the best policy every single time.
