If I did , I genuinely apologise. I don't judge any real person by what they feel for the character. Mostly, its difficult to separate the actor from the character and hence sometimes in TV, we merge them both.

When I see a show, I try my best to think on the characters sans the actors...just like when I read novels. But at the end of the day, even I want the good looking couple to reunite , if not for anything else , for pure entertainment value.

I think if my memory does not fail me, in TV world there is one couple which was repeated successfully by the same PH...hiten-gauri. May be bcoz they are a real life couple too. In Kutumb and then in KSBKBT and in some other horror show too(don't remember the name but related to vampires...yaad aaya 'Kya haadsaa kya haqeeqat')...all of those are Ekta shows. She repeated her favourite pair thrice...even now I think she brought them together in one show on Colors.

So, if the pair is good enough, they do get repeated. 😃

Even I admit I had fangurl crush on Mr. Bajaj and still do. 😳

Hey it was not directed at you. It was just a general observation. Am quite judgmental in real life which is something I hate about myself. Which is why I make it a point not to judge anyone atleast online. Atleast a start so I can hope I can somehow stop judging in real life too 😆 I remember I had this argument with my friend about Shahid and Meera. I told her its appalling that the girl despite being from an affluent family and educated got married so young and also has a baby. And I was judging Shahid too 😆 And then my friend told me thats probably what she wants. She was probably never ambitious to begin with and she extremely happy with the way her life is going. And we may not relate to it cos we would personally never do something similar but whats there to judge so long as she is happy? Thats when I realised perception makes such a huge difference. I still judge though. Cant help it 😆

About repeating pairs, it rarely happens these days. Most actors get typecast and Indian TV has this pathetic obsession with young girls 🤢 16 and 18 year olds working in daily soaps as female leads. The age keeps decreasing with time. Oh wait, am again judging 😆

To answer this - there is a story 'Shaashti' by Rabindranath Tagore in bengali, which emphasizes the fact that if wife dies, one gets another wife, but if 'brother' dies, then one cannot have another. This was extensively used by 90's hero Chiranjit (In Bengali film industry) replacing 'brother' with 'mother' which was so popular and triggered so many emotions in the mass. This is what is wrong with us. Such mentality 😆.

No doubt that Dev would save Ishwari but there is a high chance that he will jump into the ocean and die with Sonakshi there too. 😆

This isn't an easy question and the answer should only be whom its easier to save as both of them should be equally important in a man's life. I can't decide between the two if its between my dad and my future hubby. No person is not worthy to live even if he/she is the worst person on earth, they just have to get punished for their deeds while still living and I don't believe in afterlife.

In addition to your list, I had Manav-Archana, Yudi-Mukti, Sumit-Kumkum, Karan-Nandini and of course Rishabh-Prerna. 😆

Manav-Archana had a wonderful story, very balanced one, the guy did a lot there for a change and was the sacrificial lamb 😆

Yes I know you did not direct it at me. That was just me wondering out loud 😆 😆 in my post if I mocked anyone.

You see I have quite a few emotional streaks in me and in the heat of watching the show, I flow away in emotions...for the characters I stay invested in. Hence, I was wondering that during any such adventures did I mock anyone...even though not intentional, it could have come across as such...so I apologized.

Annihilation- Gul shows usually have the worst redemption arch. If we compare this show with hers, Dev has suffered and Sona is not a doormat (not yet 😆). Which is still better than what Gul usually shows. The male leads threaten, blackmail, manhandle, forcibly get married and there is not a single scene where they feel bad. Compared to all that, QH had the best redemption track for a male lead. Asad's fatal flaw was that he was conservative and judgmental. But that show made him go from ' you are not worthy of me Zoya' to 'am not worthy of you Zoya' with a wonderful realization track for the male lead. Of course it was all eventually ruined when he forced her to live with his brother but the writers atleast tried 😆

Talk about Manav-Archana 😆 ...I was hyperactive in Pavitra Rishta forum. Fifi knows me from there.

I think both were sacrificial lambs and hence theirs was a balanced love story. 😆 Both would compete with each other as to how much can he/she can sacrifice for the other 😆 . My DP pic is still them 😆
