Shaavi, excellent analysis dear. 👏

After seeing Soha in that messed up state, Sona realised her folly in delaying the truth to Dev. But she had already lost the edge and was forced to be on the defensive. She had to make Dev back off at all cost before he did something impulsive again and upset Soha and before she had time to sort out the issues that he had already created. Her guilt regarding Soha and her failure as a mother in preventing this drove her to accept his ultimatums.

The Dev she saw was the ruthless version the one she always feared who might snatch her daughter from her. But she was also able to see the extent of hurt that this news had caused in him. It was so similar to their Shimla trip where she opened up to him and showed how hurt she was. Her fear, guilt and hurt on seeing him like that put her on her defensive.

The moment he called her cruel and compassion less drove her to confront him with the truth of her coming there with Suhana. His comment that he would have forgiven and forgotten everything pierced her heart when she was wronged so much and he had turned a blind eye. She knew he didn't know about her visit or the baby but deliberately told he refused to meet since she wanted to hurt him as he had hurt her.

She had always believed that she had an edge over him since she had taken the first step and was turned away. So it was his turn to make the step. They both never believed in involving anyone else in these matters because they themselves wanted to deal with it and also it was the interference from their families that played a part in their separation.

I loved three things he said 1) he would not snatch Soha 2) he had let her do her way until now and will not from here on 3) their relationship is now stronger. Also both said they will not leave Soha. Also he said he will not let her leave. He wouldn't have involved the court but would have made her life a living hell.

GKB and Vicki beware. You won't know what will hit you if you try to harm Soha. I will not say anything about Ishwari today because she just drove me to the edge yesterday. I always thought it was GKB who turned them away.

I didn't feel any sympathy towards Sonakshi. She had to be prepared for this, else why would she bother to take the risk of relocating to Delhi and then sharing office space with Dev! Living in the same City and residing just a few blocks away from Dixit mansion showed her over-confidence that things would go exactly as planned. She forgot Kismet and Dev's ruthlessness.

I enjoyed the manner in which Dev made her go in circles to find him. If she couldn't handle 6 minutes of nonsensical behaviour from Dev, how would she handle Dev if he decides to snatch Suhana from the Boses? She looked helpless yesterday and probably regretted having hidden Suhana from Dev all these years. Sonakshi won the battle but is all set to lose the war! 😃

But, there was a catch. Dev revealed that he had no intentions of snatching away Suhana from her, because he knows Sonakshi would die if he did so. Dev is still a bad husband? But his shrewdness came alive when he said with a smirk that Suhana would willingly come into his arms. Sonakshi cannot do anything here. Her money, her status, the Boses, Jotin etc would be useless if Suhana willingly goes with Dev!!!

I was happy that finally Dev-Sonakshi talked to each other and Sonakshi kept her pride aside and told Dev that she had come to introduce his daughter to him but was denied entry in the Dixit home. It was clear that all these years Sonakshi believed that Dev turned her away! And her ego didn't find it suitable to clarify with him through a phone call, despite knowing the family that he lived with! What about Elena? Couldn't she talk to Elena since she came all the way? But you are so smart, Sonakshi, just like Bijoy! You don't need advice!

XGKB and Vicky were clueless about Suhana so it has to be Ishwari! How Dev handles this if they reveal the culprit or woukd Ishwari lie and then overcome by guilt confess to Dev? Would Sonskshi feel guilty about punishing Dev and depriving Suhana of Dev's love, because of her wrong assessment of a situation? Dev was clear when he said 'humari beti". Dev has not accepted his mistake of blind love towards Ishwari and believing everything she says. This incident could help open his eyes and become shrewd. He has to find a way to make Ishwari vulnerable and only listen to him!! Role reversal!

If Vicky decides to do something drastic, I want him to pay for this sin in a cruel manner. Maybe become handicap. I want him to confess and break down about his wayward ways and criminal mind. Then, XGKB would be shredded to pieces. And Dev must forgive -again. And then Vicky goes on to win the Businessman of the year award!! 😆 Kuch zyaada hi ho gaya na!

Wow... I''m awed with all the posts.. too much going on here:)

What I absolutely loved about today episode was .. Dev stopping Ishwari to go to see his daughter.. he clearly said 'when she comes to me .. i'lol bring her to you' but till then we have to wait... this is not the same Dev seven yrs ago, that would give in to everything his mother wanted.. I see so much hope for his marriage to work now!!

I found a lot of subtle messages today..
Like hamara rishta aur gehra ho Gaya...
Also this time I won't let you go...
When he said Soha will come to me.. is like I will win you back

PS: I feel it's time for redemption to start soon... Dev already has warned Ishwari , no one will go to meet Soha and this time he was angry... the lies, the deceit.. it's all getting too much for him

@deepa ditto...I luvvvd yesterday's epi...@DQ Dev has cornered Sona hence she knows it's not the right time to show her arrogance which will bring more casualties for Soha...the biggest truth which Sona is well aware of is...a loving, caring, Dev is more dangerous than an arrogant, angry Dev...who else than Sona knows this better...she let all her guard down, broke her engagement and ran to him when she saw the completely shattered Dev...A charmer Dev is incorrigible and non-resistant...soha has Sona's genes, so she knows eventually she will be the looser...and her fears are proved correct here also...he confided that he will not snatch her, soha will come to her...in one of the earlier epi he affirmed to Sona that now she can't leave him which is proved correct time and again... I felt really sorry for Sona yesterday and my heart went with her...why can't she tell him "look the problem is not you but your family, will not like my daughter to live in that toxic environment"...if she emphasizes on the first part, Dev will kill himself to do what she wants...in the first separation when she said , she is equally affected and tormented to see the shattered dev...he was so moved by that and decided to stay apart from her...but eventually that will happen today...the moment he realizes the manipulations of his family, again he will transform himself to the generous Dev and forsake his happiness for the 2 most important women of his life, sona and Soha...

That's not what sonakshi is doing though is it - not showing attitude. She IS showing him half baked attitude because she knows she is guilty of bringing herself, dev and soha at this point now. Like Rekha said (awesome post by the way rekha), Sonakshi wasn't prepared to deal with this

Repeatedly referring to Suhana as meri beti will aggravate the situation. And not once has sonakshi asked Dev what did he tell Soha (which was the reason she rushed to see him leaving her 6 year old alone in her room with a drawing of a young man who looks like Dev). Instead Sonakshi is getting defensive and Dev is trying to wind her up more and more. These two are just as bad as each other.

Sonakshi doenst know what we know. She for example doesn't know Dev didn't prepare the prenup let alone know the terms of the document. She doesn't also know that Dev doesn't know that she brought soha to see him 6 years ago (let's see what exactly was it that she did 6 yrs ago tonight). So she cannot ask Dev to leave stop suhana from meeting his family. In her mind she tried to arrange for a coparenting arrangement 5.5 years ago. In his mind, she fled to kolkotta with their daughter. (I loved it that Dev didn't refer to Suhana as meri bhi beti)

What I am however saying is pretty much what rekha said. Either face the circumstances or avoid them altogether

As usual I again found Sonakshi keep her ego in the front. Seriously if she is coming to Delhi to show Soha to Dev six years back,is that the way to reach him? Doesn't she feel it better to inform him by a call or atleast leave a message that she is arriving with their daughter? I bet if she did so Dev would have run to the airport to receive them both. I stress here both. Already great critics of our forum maintained that Dev is only interested in his daughter. He bothers least about Sona. I disagree. For Dev Sona comes first then follows Soha. If Sonakshi takes one step towards him he would reach her without letting her step further.

Coming to the point,I felt Sonakshi standing outside Dixit mansion just wierd and unnatural. She would have checked into a hotel and just call Dev I don't need to say how fast he would have reached her. May be faster than the wind.

So why did she stand outside the house instead of opting for easier ways to reach Dev? She is well aware of the occupants of Iswari mansion. So again she believed Dev doesn't want to meet her.

I feel Sonakshi's wrong assumptions and lack of trust in Dev made Soha and Dev live in ignorance about each other's existence. I believe Sonakshi genuinely did not try to make it happen. If she really wished she would have tried again. Where there is a will there is a way.

The episode was fast paced and well directed and performed. Ofcourse I won't sign off without hailing his performance. Awesome,wonderful mind blowing.Loved Shaheer as Dev.
