That's why Sona's actions really annoy me. Someone not being a good husband to you does NOT mean you get to take away the other person's right to be a parent. Sona didn't keep Dev and Ishwari happy either, so why is she exempt from being asked that question? I get that Sona was afraid of Dev taking away Soha. That's fine. She doesn't get to hold moral high ground because Dev couldn't keep her happy.

Honestly poor Soha. I really hope these two don't use her as a pawn. Dev has a justifiable right to be angry but I really hope he rises above that to do what is right for Soha.

Of-course, its not a fair question and kids never ask you fair questions. As a parent, its our responsibility to guide them towards asking fair questions or taking bold decisions. With my above statement, i am not trying to judge him or trying to take away his right as a dad. He was already a parent figure to his sisters then how can i question his capabilities as a father. I am only trying to say that can these 2 stop blaming each other and start introspecting about their contribution in this entire mess since both are equally responsible for this entire mess. Most importantly, Why the kid should pay the price for their mistakes? Can't he see Sona's hurt through Soha's question?

Then came the realisation that it was true and the disappointment. But then when I later thought about it, it is a smart move by the cvs.

Dev babu has realised that Suhana is no harry potter dreaming that his parents are alive somewhere and will rescue him from the Dursleys.

The near accident and impending death was the icing on the cake. Now Dev will think a thousand times before blindly following mataji's advice. He has now realised that if he wants his daughter he has to follow the proper channel that is Sonakshi.

He would soon also realise that forcefully taking his daughter from her mother will be very harmful to her. Ishwari obviously wants to hoard things and not cherish children so she would pressurise Dev to get Suhana at any cost.

I think cvs are preparing the ground work for
1. Dev standing up to Ishwari for his daughter and proving that howsoever lousy husband he might have been, he is a good father.

2. Dev and Sona reconciliation considering Dev's acts in point one above.

@payalj bang on point 1...I felt Dev is horrified by his mom's reaction regarding Soha's resemblance to Sona. My gut feeling is he will confront his mom and will ask" if I have inherited your looks then what's Your problem in Soha being like Sona". This Will be his chance to give an ultimatum to his Mom, You don't mess up my relationship with my daughter. Dev will say that (fingers crossed)

Hi guyes,
First of all sorry this the, first time before reading the post's related to yesterday's episode, I am posting my relay. Generaly my process was reverse. First I use to read the, previous post and then I used to put my replay but today I want pen down my thoughts first.

If you ask me what was happed yesterday and what is going to happen today is supposed to be happed and, some how, I am very happpy that what makers, are showing
If you ask me, the root cause, of what ever happed yesterday is the out come when dev and sona, both fail to learn the lesson and, repetion of there mistake. And there mistake, is, to fail to act as a team
Now, I will explain my point. In s1 also whenever that face any problems in there married life they never approach to that problem and try to sort out that problem by there own way. As, they are used to of this as they are the brade earners of there house. There decision was the last decisions. For dev it was the situation in business and before sona's entry and after that also at certain point at home also. And in bose family sona has bare the burdon and her decision was considered as final decision. Now this was the case as their decisions was influnened by there parents, in case by sona by bijoy and for dev it was ishu. There marriage or there relationship was the first decision which was against there parents, will ofcource there parents not openly oppose there decision
So when there married life get stared the problems, they face they are expected to work as team . but instade of that they always try to slove the, problem as, individual. And, this, allows the external factors to harm there relationship .and there honest opinion can create the displeasure to to each other that way they follow the way to not to communicate

Now in the soha's case, same is happening again for yesterday I am going to blame, dev and sona both. Honestly how, sona think that dev will never come into the picture of they both are in same, city. But she assumed this, to aviod her fear of loose soha. To allow, to make the decision that she, want to meet her father or not was also the outcome of the same process. I am not saying at her place her fear is true but. This situation was, bound to happened. Once agin bose family fail to give the environment to soha in which she can express her thoughts, openly and, I am sure she will never tell sona that she want to meet dev because, of her love and the environment against the dev. For that thanks, to bijoy. And here dev is also making the same mistake instade of going and have a communication with sona in his happiness and carving for her daugther's acknowledgement he forgot to have a communication with sona as soha's mother and understand the situation. They both are not thinking from future point of view.and thinking as an individual mother and father but in that they are not understanding that soha is going to suffer
As she is a mixture of both. She is, having a brain of sona but the heart of dev. So they required to understand that for soha they are expected to act as a team. And for that they need to see soha suffer. Sona need to understand as she is not friendly with the dev she is stoping soha from going close to her father which she want
And dev also need to understand to becomeca good father he required the help of sona by which he can understand his daughter. And in this case jatin can play the imp role. As he is the person who can be consider as outsider but the friend to soha. This the same way dev and sona's, friendship get started.
I hope I am making some sence
So now I am waiting for there fight by which there pain , anger will come out. And for one more thing I am happy that they are fighting in private not I frount of there family. So what ever is going on is correct let them see how soha get suffered because of ther fight. Then and only then they will learn the lessoon how to be a team.

You have hit the nail on the head with the last question... 😊 Today's episode is the prelude to what is to come. If Suhana is not quite the way she is, how will Sonakshi stop herself to think and listen to Soha's perspective and thoughts even if it means ignoring Bijoy. If Dev did not see the way Soha reacted and ask that question, he wouldn't push Sonakshi to reveal her anger.

Sonakshi as we have seen reveals her true feelings only when she is pushed or coaxed. In the segment Dev calls her 'bereham' making her so angry that she ends up telling about her visit to IN after Soha's birth and the subsequent rejection she received for that. Dev might have taken time to investigate as to how the scam in his office happened or when did he tell Vickky to evict the Boses, but he will definitely investigate this(well it is my hope 😳 ).

I feel this would be the first truth that comes out in the list of truths are are waiting to be unveiled... 😊 😃

Lets hope for the best Shaavi, that the only thing which we can do.
Honestly speaking, If these 2 keep their fake guards down and have a heart to heart conversation then it wont take more than one episode to clear this entire mess. Its as simple as that yaar.

Awesome post Sam and Latha... and it is spot on. But in a way this is needed for Sonakshi. She has too much bottled up emotions with no one to share. She is so busy trying to act strong all the time that she is drained. Also every time a little of her strength drains, her anger regarding Dev increases as she holds him completely responsible for her suffering while also feels guilty of causing pain to her family.

I feel this may be the reason she came back to Delhi, to unleash her anger. She wants to confront Dev and say "look what you did. How could you hurt me when you said you loved me". But being who she is she does not want to be the first person to start that conversation. The talk about what happened between them.

Today when she saw Soha her anger bubbled over and it is like dam breaking. She could somehow tolerate her hurt, but not Soha's especially when she knows it is caused by Dev. When she saw Soha, Sonakshi just lost control of herself. At that time she did not feel she could do or say anything.

She needs to get rid of all that stagnant pain to be able to see clearly. Also this is the perfect recipe where Sonakshi will finally open up about her true feelings...

@bold: ahh ok. I misunderstood your comment. There were some posts that do truly feel it questions his right as a father.

I think its fine for Soha to ask that question... but I wouldn't expect Dev to introspect based on that because he knows its a biased comment. At its core its hasn't come from Soha but from Sona/Bijoy. There is nothing new in hearing about Sona's hurt. From's Dev's perspective he wasn't given a chance to prove his mettle as a father so its not going to hit him.

But I didn't really see Dev "blame" Sonakshi in this sequence. I was actually waiting for it. I certainly thought there would be anger somewhere. For me it was a man trying to explain to his daughter why he wasn't there for her and reassure her that he would be in the future. Was he hasty in telling Soha about him being her father? Maybe... I don't think I am truly convinced on that score that it wasn't a 'reasonable' thing to do given the circumstances. I think tomorrow we can really start to judge whether he can put his child above the blame game-- but I think it will still be a process. I think the real shift in perspective is going to come from the prenup. That's when he is going to be forced to introspect on his mistakes.

For me the real person I needed to see put Soha above the blame game is Sona because she's had 6 years to introspect on the needs of a living breathing child. I feel the same as you that a kid should never pay the price for their parent's mistakes and the person who had more control over that scenario was Sonakshi. Sona's a good person and I honestly don't know how she is going to reconcile her mistakes because once this is all resolved there is no escaping the fact that Soha lost something precious. Even if her parent's weren't together she still could've had both parents in her life. I just don't know that her 'hurt' feelings are enough for Soha to pay that price.

So finally Sona realized that Dev is Sona's bigcha. I was thinking, they will say Golu is Elena's son. No one said any thing 😆

Soha is such a cutiepie. She thought she was dreaming about Golu's Bigcha. Dev was so emotional, wanted to tell her that he is her dad. I know that he should have thought about disclosing this big news will be shocking for 6 year old kid. I think, he was so emotional, he just couldn't control his emotions told her he is her dad. I really loved this scene. How beautiful/emotional it was. ❤️

Sona was so scared of loosing Soha/with anger, she didn't realize that she needs to talk to her daughter first before confronting Dev.

When Dev asked Soha that he needs to know everything that happened between the age 0 -6. It reminded me the scene when Dev told Sona he wants to know everything about Sona that happened in 27 years. Also, when he was addressing Soha as "Aap", reminded me Dev addressing Sona "Aap" all the time.

Dev may have showed his anger towards Sona whenever they met..But Dev is always respected Sona. He was happy when Soha said she loves her mom the most. He was happy to know that Sona said he is a good man. When Soha said Sourav is getting married, how happily he smiled. Dev is still the Dev he was before.

I really liked the the way Dev told Ishwari that "Soha toh mini Sonakshi hai"...that showed how much he loves/respects her.

When Soha came to know that her superman friend is her dad, she didn't know how to react. I thought, she thought she is dreaming and she kept looking at Dev. I think, suddenly remembered the promise she made to Sona that she will never go to her dad. That is when she started running.

Dev was so scared seeing Soha running outside, Dev won't do anything that makes Soha to feel bad.

There will be Sourav and Ronita's marriage I am thinking, somehow Dev will end up staying in Bose house. May be through law order (custody) or he will forcefully live in Bose house.

Or Sona will ask Soha whether she wants to stay with her dad. Soha is just like Dev, so she will say she doesn't want to stay. What is the role of Jatin? I don't think Sona will ever think of getting engaged to Jatin especially after Soha knowing Dev is her father.

All posts as always are absolutely amazing...im still trying to figure out if it was ok for Dev to just directly go and bombard all the information on Soha...it was definitely not fair on Soha...to take a 6 yr old with such surprise is gng a bit to ahead...but aa an audience it did give us Soha's unbiased and immediate reaction which would hv been very difficult if Sona had prepared her for the meeting or evenif Sona was just present their...ans as someone mentioned the almost accident thing would definitely stay with Dev before he does anything and dis would not hv happened if Sona was their...wat i fail to understand is was it Dev being insensitive, implulsive or just pure excited wen he sprung the info on Soha...why did the thought of gng through Sona not cross his mind...

Another thing which many of u hv already discussed is wen Soha says to Dev that if her father couldn't keep her mom happy how will he keep her... I don't k know if its fair to Dev or if its right or wrong but I do see it as the most natural thing coming from a 6 year old kid...As a kid I believe (or I can atleast say for myself and people around me) that many of our choices, perceptions, pov are coloured by those of our friends and family.. ..if my friend is not friends with someone, had a fight or doesn't like you, I don't want to talk to you... Its only wen I became a bit older and understood that relationships can be individually maintained and no one gets upset on you if you talk to someone they don't like (well they do get upset but they understand) and then you slowly grow up and form your individual opinions of ppl...
A very common example is the relationship kids (specially girls in my observation purely) share with their paternal grandmother...bcz mil and dil often (or not so often ;) share an unpleasant relationship it does rub of on kids and then dadi becomes the villian in momies life... Plenty of kids don't share the same relationship with their paternal grandmother that they do with their maternal one...though it's now changing given that everyone is working and den u take help from wherever u get...but ya the point being its take time to realize that Dadi loves u alot and if mom and her hv an issue its got nthn to do with u and u stay out of it ( obviously im not referring to extreme cases where the anger is valid)...
Soha is just being a 6 yr old...who is picking up on things she sees...her dida dadu are such a lovely couple and her dad just left mom (for whatever reasons it might be) she doesn't need someone to tell her he was wrong, she just feels it in the environment...and we can't really blame the boses if der displeasure just shows how much they would try not to...

And its not the same thing as Dev being being happy in Ishwari happiness, he was 28...he shld hv better learnt how to maintain individual relationships but well that's what the show is abt so its ohkay...we need to have to hv one year running show ...
U definitely felt bad for him...maybe no one deserves to hear that from their kid but anything else would have felt unnatural to me...

Im not the best at articulation... Hope i did make some sense...

Great posts.. analysis everyone!

I got one thing out from today's episode that I would like to point out..

Dev will not do anything against Soha's wishes.. Ishwari can beg him to bring Soha home but till Soha is not ready he will not do anything against her wish!

One other thing .. both Dev and Sona said that they will never leave Soha .. come what may.. that's a sign of compromise from them both! Both parents will give up anything for their daughter .. their ego .. pride ..everything to make her happy!

This will be a big eye opener for Ishwari and Bijoy.. I see the track moving in that direction!
