Lol... So you braved it today. I agree with all of your points. The thing is that Dev was always easily manipulated by Ishwari every single time she uses Sonakshi. The irony is that despite the fact that she hates Sonakshi and hopes she drops dead, she continuously brings her out to keep on striking at Dev.
If Dev falls for his mother's manipulation again and agrees for marriage, I don't think he will have any chance of redemption left. I will think the same for Sonakshi if she falls for Bijoy's manipulation like before. Why? Two reasons.
1. Say Dev agrees for engagement and then finds out about Soha and breaks it if the spoiler is to be believed. Then how would Sonakshi believe that Dev, this time, is not around her because of Soha? After all he has a track record. Last time he behaved the exact same way, but did not approach her until his mother gave permission. This time he is behaving the same, but did not approach her until he finds out about Soha. How is that situation any different? And why would any rational person would expect the outcome to be any different?
2. The person Dev will agree to get engaged too, I am sure he will say the same line of he is complicated man and difficult past etc etc. Most women, I am sorry to say stupid enough to think that they can fix complication while say the same thing to a man, they will run faster than you can blink because men don't want to marry fixer uppers.
But why Dev won't be able to continue with his engagement after finding out about Soha? Sonakshi is his ex-wife. He can spend time with Soha. But if he can get as far as engagement with a girl, and she is okay with him having a child with his ex-wife, why can't he just marry her? The fact that he can't get over Sonakshi exists even now. So at that time it won't be any new addition of feelings.
So I think, if CVs try to show the cliched way where a man leaves his engagement after finding out about his daughter and the daughter's mother even remotely considers getting back together with him, then I am sorry I have not seen a more idiot person than Sonakshi Bose who repeats the same mistake the third time.

Dev as usual misunderstood nothing new here. Sona told him during his accident he closes his eyes when she speaks..maybe he closes his ears too. But he is building a strong bond with Suhana
Mamiji and Vicky want Golu to be the heir
But Easwari wants Dev to move on ..purely evil reasons wants him away from Sona so what does she do tell him Sona is getting married to Jatin
Here Sona very clearly tells no marriage..btw I am beginning to like the character of Jatin more and more. He seems a good friend and decent guy and seems to care for Soha too.
Easwari by hook or crook will find a girl for Dev enter the new girl. So she will want to rub it in Sona face and use Elena for it. But mamiji and Vicky want Dev to remain devdas why because he will ignore work, make Golu his heir..so they will not want Dev to get married...because that is an unknown
Dev will probably accuse Sona of moving on with Jatin and Sona taunts Easwari because Easwari knows she is not..of course Dev thinks she is..in the meantime the Buddhu Dev will maybe say yes to the girl..or circumstances will show Sona that he is..I think Jatin is a good guy and may tell about Soha inadvertently to Dev who will then know Sona has really not moved on..
These are all predictions but I think Easwari will manipulate Dev for the last time and she will not even have her allies with her this time Vicky and mamiji because their agenda is something else
Until that time the makers will make Dev do stupid stuff.with Sona ...but bond with Soha so he will be connected to Sona thru Soha.I think the story is crawling towards a finale..unless of course you experts know the Indian serial trend and both these idiots get remarried..I don't think they will show this because a child is involved..but I am no expert.
