Love your quirky sense of humour with that touch of sarcasm Tia.
There is one thing that I felt. Two actually.

1. So far, neither Dev nor Sonakshi have been able to stay on their word / promise / decision - for whatever reasons. Considering how much CVs LOVE the concept of REPEAT, I am guessing we will be seeing one or BOTH of them will be changing their minds - for whatever reason. After all, the fourth angle is a confirmed news, right?

2. In last night's episode, they showed the bond that Jatin and Suhana share. He is not in the outer spectrum of her life. He is pretty involved and attached to the kid and vice versa. So Suhana now has a dotting father figure in Jatin, a doting mama in Saurav and a grand father in Bijoy. Logically and realistically, a six year old who has never seen or met her father wouldn't miss him. If the teacher is insensitive enough to ask the kids to write about ONLY the father, she would write about Jatin and how close he is to her (considering that he has attended the sports day with her and teachers over there mistook him for her dad). She MAY get curious about her biological father once she hits her teenage years but not at this point. At least not to the point where she starts writing how much she wants to meet etc... But then again... makers want drama, melodrama and sentiment. *sigh*

Me off in a bit to buy popcorn and 7Up for tonight's episode. 😆

Thank you, Suvika. You should check out the laughter riot the ladies squad have released on this post. They were absolutely hilarious.

In my experience in TV Land, the more vehemently people deny of doing something, the more likely they will end up doing it.

Example: I hate love. I will never fall in love. > Falls in love

I love you. I will never leave you. > Dumps the lover

I want to spend my entire life with only one person. Hum jeete hain ek baar, marte hain ek baar, pyaar bhi ek hi baar hota hain aur shaadi bhi. > Falls in love again and/or marries again.

So I won't put much stock on those words. CVs love smokescreen to make fool out of audiences. Gosh, how I wish CVs had plagiarized your and Divya's story. Sorry Suvika. That is a much better script.

Yes, Soha was no way deprived of male figures. But as we saw Bijoy and also the rest of the family, made sure that Soha didn't start to think Jatin is her father. He was more of a friendly uncle for her.

So for her, her father was not a need or necessity but more of a curiosity. She wanted to see how he looks like and how he is like. But since her father is not an immediate need for her, she is not showing visible signs of desperation to her family or even asking to see her dad urgently. She knows that Sonakshi won't stop her. But in her little mind, meeting her father wasn't urgent enough or necessity enough to approach her mother and may be having to spend time with a strange man without her mother because she also knows that her mother won't be with her if she goes to her father.

This situation will change if and when Soha finds out WHO is her father. Now that she has formed a bond with Dev, if she finds out that Dev is her father, she'd like to reveal who she is. Because then he won't be a stranger. It will be interesting to see who finds out first - Dev or Soha and how they reveal the truth to other.

Liked quite a few things in the episode...
1. Sona's strong stand against re-marriage and asking for their support... But not sure how long she will have this stand... Because if she's not honest about her own feelings and get provoked by Dev again, she may do stupid things again... 😆 Just don't want her to play with her friend's feelings this time... Jatin appears to be a good guy and why is it every guy coming for Sona are very good... 😳 But yeah, Sona being Sona has her own love story and doesn't want to rewrite it unless drama says otherwise... 😆

2. Vicky & Radharani - These two, ignoring the fact that they are cunning and evils, never fail to trigger a laughter dose every time they appear onscreen together...😆 Vicky being the red-black one and Radharani all obsessed with gold... 🤣

3. Golu... oh chubby sweetiepie... 🤗 He has a way to win hearts.. Be it with Dev or any other character in the show... He brings the charm very beautifully filling the screen with all his innocence and cuteness... Looking forward to his presence with the Bose family... Especially him and Daada... Competition for who's more chubby and cutie... 😳🥳

4. Jatin 😊- Let him just be the good friend that he is... It's nice to see some form of real men being reflected onscreen... Not always glorifying the darker shade of grey ones... Jatin could have his own human flaws but he sure can be on the lighter side..

5. The trio - Sona-Soha-Jatin... Soha having the super comfort with Jatin and happily chirping in her own form as a happy family... What Golu said was right... They looked one nice happy family together... If only the CVs intend to show them for themselves and not for Dev to become jealous... 😆

@Bold -I feel Soha might find out that this strange man (new friend) is her father first. I think she is smarter than her dad based on yesterday's Dev's IQ which is empty.

Even if Soha finds out and introduces herself as daughter to Dev, Dev will still be saying "No my dear friend... You are not my daughter because your mother can't become a mother" 😆

What if Sona had adopted the kid and hasn't revealed the kid the truth that she's been adopted... 😉

Dev anyway has married Sonakshi out of love irrelevant of whether she could become a mother or not... And it doesn't matter to him that she can't be a mother... So it shouldn't matter to him if she has become a mother now... Is my logic sounding like a complicated mathematics? 😆

The best points of the episode for me have been:
1. Dev's emotional unraveling and his denial in believing that Suhana can be Sonakshi's own daughter. I do think proper execution with monologues can be better in helping us understand Dev's predicament. Over all, I am loving the realization dawning over Dev slowly.
2. Sona's lack of need for validation. I think it was one of your posts where I mentioned that Sona's bitterness has changed her relationship dynamic with her father. Today we saw an outburst of that. The old Sona couldn't have borne the fact that her Dad isn't happy with her decision.

3. Soha and Jatin relationship compared with Dev and Soha's relationship. The bonding between the Jatin and Soha shows that Soha never lacked the need for a father figure in her life but it's also evident that Soha was reminded that Jatin isn't her father. he is only mama's friend. A sensitive child like Soha would pick up on that aspect especially witnessing her grandfather doting on her mom every now and then. Dev and Soha's relationship is now just beginning. Soha doesn't lack a proper ideal figure but she lacks a listener. Two parents provide a balance of one down the talking and another listening. That dynamic shifting as per parents chose to parent there kid. Soha had a father and mother in Sonakshi and with Sona being a working mother, Soha lacks the parent who would be there to just coddle her. The child has everything. But she lacks this one thing which also has it's importance and that cannot be denied just because others have it worst.

4. Golu's pointing at Dev at his attention to the new girl. Golu will force Dev to not just realize but finally FIX his ways in balancing relationships. Dev inability to balance relationships comes from the fact he never had a relationship at a time with more then one person. Before it was him and his mother. and now it's him and Golu. Relationships aren't a list of priority. It's a shelf of books. Each one holding an important place and each one brining something new to the table. Golu and Suhana's places in Dev's life will finally push Dev to create a balance in his lifestyle that will lead for Sonakshi to come back into his life eventually.

Overall, I loved the episode. and obviously love your commentary!

The three men talking and teasing each other... That special moment I missed to call out in my list...
Daada's lack of skill in counting... 😆
Baaba's inevitable counting stuck at zero 🤣
Jatin's special bond sharing with Soha and his dreams about it...

And just thought of posting this here though I wouldn't want to give much thought about Dev-Ish emotional turmoil... 😆
Dev knows that Ishu doesn't like Sonakshi and has complaints against her... And may be he doesn't think that Ishu has played a major role in their separation but at least he must be knowing that she wasn't happy with Sonakshi being in his life and now gone from his life midway...

And he opening up to his mother emotionally makes no sense to me... Is he still looking for his mother's support in his decisions and will be running back to his mother asking her to look for a beautiful and understanding bride for himself, when Sona hurts him more and more with her taunts... 😆
