She did a lot of special things for him and barring stalking him, she did go the whole deewangi mode with crying , sulking, etc when Dev got engaged to Natasha.

Dev has shown deewangi type love not to Sona but more to his mother earlier.

While Sona was the one to plan special outings like resort night, scooty ride, birthday night... Unless she actually physically took Dev along, Dev would just ditch her

I don't think people use similar ways to express love. Sona's love was more matured and something that actually helped in betterment of Dev. I really do not wish to see Sona behaving as stupidly as Dev just so that they become similar and then can get back.

If the makers want them to get back they will, but for once I want Dev to actually think of Sonakshi's happiness. Even if Sonakshi does not see it, but I want those vibes from him. Enough of him being selfish for his own self. Enough of him being so egoistic, "Me Dev Dixit... bla bla "Enough of him being childish after fathering a child...

I want a sweet court scene like the one between Kamal's character and his daughter in Chachi 420. Dev-Sohana already have their own special sign language.

I want him to at least once elevate himself rather than us wanting Sonakshi to falter, Sonakshi to be vulnerable, Sonakshi to be proven bad mom...

I believe a couple can never be equal to each other in everything. But they must have at least something special where there partners lack.
Here I felt a lot of hard work was done by Sonakshi with very little reciprocation from Dev. May be now is his chance? will he so something special for her now, after knowing how she has raised such an awesome child all alone. How she might have carried through her pregnancy all alone...
I hope Jatin turns out to be good guy who in a way shows mirror to Dev.

I also hope the new entry is a bubbly sweet girl who shows a mirror to Sonakshi to not be so giving that in the end nothing is left for you.

BTW, Soha looks really good with Shaheer. such awesome chemistry

I would not like to talk about what Dev will think or not, because i have already churned up my brain cells thinking about it too much. 😆 So i will accept whatever he will think (there is no other option actually).

There are lots of ifs and buts in this situation.

1) If Dev will think that Soha is Jatin's daughter, then how come she is Suhana BOSE.

2) If Soha is Jatin and Sona's daughter then why are they not married.

3) If Soha is Saurabh's daughter then why Sona and Jatin came to pick her up. I am not sure that Dev will be able to conclude from Soha's story that she doesn't have father and it was her own story. Soha never mentioned it as her story and it can seen only as a story. May be when Dev babu will go into FB then he will try to understand it. But immediately i don't think so.

4) If Soha is Jatin and Sona's daughter and Dev will agree to get married just bcz Sona moved on. Its not like Dev.

5) If Soha is Dev and Sona's daughter and Dev will agree to get married to get Soha's custody. But why any lawyer suggest re marriage as an option or any judge will give him the custody just because he is providing soha another mother when her own biological mother is alive. It seems so OTT. But then how will third angle in Dev's case will be justified.

6) If Dev thinks Soha is adopted, this can be a scenario.

PS- Is it only me who hasn't found any similarity between the new girl and Erica. 😕 They don't look similar to me.

I think you confused my posts with someone else. I have never said that Sona loved Dev less. They both loved each other to the power of infinity.

In fact I always maintained that the share of faults was much much greater in the case of Dev. I only said once that Sona should have taken it slow with the Dixit family which were a bag full of issues.

In my previous post I also mentioned option 5. This will be the most dramatic track n hence probability of this happening is really high.

Other options -

Either Dev will deduce Soha as his daughter coz really all signs point to that and without informing anyone continue to build bond with Soha. If true...this wud be a very messy track but a good way for Dev to understand what Sona went thru. N Soha wud tell Sona everything abt Golu's Bigcha ..n Sona wud understand Soha needs to knw abt Dev.

Or Dev wud assume Soha is adopted by Sona. Here also he wud continue to bond with Soha without Sona's knowledge. I wud like to see this track.

@Rekha and @Preethi. Dev might have an IQ of 200, but his EQ is near zero. He is not someone who will think that way especially after Sonakshi's sunflower story and the details provided by his PA. He will figure it out later(like 15 - 20) episodes down the line, but for now he will not figure it out (my POV).

I feel that this time for figuring it out is needed for the story --

1) Dev and Soha bond needs to happen and strengthen without them being aware of their real relationship. Cause till now Soha has not really heard much nice things about Dev. When Soha finds that he is her dad, she will have questions. These questions are necessary for the story to move forward. We should be seeing Soha struggle with what she heard about her father to what she has experienced with him(I am not a sadist, but trying to be real).

2) Till date both Bijoy and Sonakshi claim the moral high ground. They constantly say that any type of lie or secrecy is bad. That it was wrong of Dev to hide her infertility, fake pregnancy and lot more. But for Sonakshi to be able to forgive Dev, she needs to be in the same place as Dev. Torn between the right thing and love and happiness for her loved one. Kind of walking a mile in each other's shoes.

3) From the time of realization of love by Dev till date we have seen his depth of love. We have seen his passion, his feeling of pain when Sonakshi is hurt, in short we have seen Dev's deewangi. But we have not seen any of this from Sonakshi. She never really displayed the depth of her live(just my view), not the way Dev displayed. Right now she is very much in control of her emotions and compared to Dev her mask is still very much intact. She needs to acknowledge her true feelings and accept it. Only then there will be Sonakshi. The fire cannot just be on one side, it has to be on both sides(am a hopeless romantic 😆 😆 ).

Looking forward to the unfolding of new drama... 😊

Shavi ji loved your analysis.Yes. It is interesting to see Sona's mask slip off and help her exhibit her true emotions. I wish the CVs for once try to unleash her emotions and true feelings. I agree she did not display the depth of her love like Dev did.

Hello everyone !! This is a great thread I must say for it is so conducive for peaceful analysis.Anyways I had a question.It has nothing to do with the current track but is just a general question.How many of you really think that Dev has slept around with women in these 7 years.A guy who is still so ultra-possesive about Sonakshi-I really find it hard to believe that he would have opened up himself with some other lady.He could have casually dated women,but people often do that to garner emotional support when they are going through a turbulent phase mentally.Also I feel it is too much for the creatives of an Indian show to highlight a male lead sleeping around and then re-uniting with the love of his life.Also his behaviour with Shruti clearly showed that he was miffed even if a female other than Sona touched him.His conversation with Golu regarding Sona after the earthquake and also the way he defended Sona in front of Ishwari after the goons attack episode just makes it incredibly difficult for me atleast to even think of him even cozily touching another girl forget being physical with her.I just want a uniform consensus on this matter so that there is no unnecessary debate regarding Dev's character.I would really love it if at the time of re-union Sona questions Dev whether he has ever been physical with some other girl considering that she knows about him having many girlfriends.Please reply everyone if you could.
