Is it only me or someone also felt that dev may realize suhana is his daughter ...and for the custody he may agree to marry dis new girl ...although d marriage will never happen coz last moment dev ll realize dat wlhe wont separate sona n soha so no point of marriage

If Dev manages to assume that Jatin is Soha's father it means he is suffering from Ishwaritis , an offshoot of elephatisis, in which instead of the leg the brain cells swell and a person starts putting on others the onus of everything he does .

Jokes apart, I know we all (including me) are developing a headache courtesy the fifth and sixth angle (third and fourth position being permanently occupied by Ishwari and Bijoy respectively) but then we should all consider the following points:

1. This is an Indian show and Indian audience is not going to accept such popular leads staying happy with two separate spouses inspite of having such a beautiful daughter. (Remember the sony show in which the Hero was a brain dead misogynist and heroine was a bit too egoistic - they still gave them a happy ending)

2. Suhana can never be happy in such a scenario and India is a totally child centred society. Audience will throw chappals on parents who can't sacrifice their egos and misunderstandings for their child's benefit.

3. There is too much love between the leads to let them be happy with anyone else at any point of time. Unless the CVs want to show a path breaking story of leads marrying others then getting divorced and then marrying each other. The marriages of these two people with any third person can never succeed.

4. If they don't introduce these catalysts or problems, then the story will either get stuck in limbo or get over in a few weeks and then how will the channel make money? (I know the TRPs are low but then there are various other ways of cashing the online popularity of a show like getting a share everytime the episode is downloaded or viewed on internet. The show would have been axed a longtime ago if it didn't get a return on investment, this is business not creative satisfaction).

I am not suggesting that Dev and Sonakshi marry different people. But as they are now, it is not possible for them to even see each other without the baggage of their past. Anytime Dev and Sonakshi have a conversation, it is with taunts and hidden anger. They are still blaming the other person completely without realizing their own contributions to the breakup.

Only when Soha is seen struggling will Sonakshi stop with her 'I left the decision to Soha and she did not want to meet her dad' chant. Only when Dev sees Sonakshi's struggle through Soha's eyes will he realize the pain endured by her and how he was responsible for it. Jatin and the new girl is for Dev and Sonakshi to realize that they are hurting other people in their quest of ego and one upmanship. It is not just enough that Dev and Sonakshi love one another, they need to accept it too. Not for others, but themselves. That they cannot live without the other.

This time when Dev and Sonakshi come together, it should be on their terms irrespective of what Bijoy or Ishwari think. For that they need to have a sane conversation setting aside their egos and clear the misunderstandings. Soha will be the reason for them to do so.

I was thinking the same...what if Dev thinks Suhana is adopted.. and confronts Sonakshi about this?

some points from you caught my attention. Wondering why you say Sona did not love enough or is less caring or more egoistic than Dev.
She did a lot of special things for him and barring stalking him, she did go the whole deewangi mode with crying , sulking, etc when Dev got engaged to Natasha.

It was Sona's deewangi when she ran in a whole auditorium full of people to escort a talli Dev from her engagement party.

She was the one who pinned for him when he fell ill(once when she was his GF and 2nd time when she was is wife) . Dev infact , almost left her to her devices when she needed support during infertility treatment..
Yeah he cared for her when she hurt her foot during Diwali.

Dev has shown deewangi type love not to Sona but more to his mother earlier.

While Sona was the one to plan special outings like resort night, scooty ride, birthday night... Unless she actually physically took Dev along, Dev would just ditch her

I don't think people use similar ways to express love. Sona's love was more matured and something that actually helped in betterment of Dev. I really do not wish to see Sona behaving as stupidly as Dev just so that they become similar and then can get back.

If the makers want them to get back they will, but for once I want Dev to actually think of Sonakshi's happiness. Even if Sonakshi does not see it, but I want those vibes from him. Enough of him being selfish for his own self. Enough of him being so egoistic, "Me Dev Dixit... bla bla "Enough of him being childish after fathering a child...

I want a sweet court scene like the one between Kamal's character and his daughter in Chachi 420. Dev-Sohana already have their own special sign language.

I want him to at least once elevate himself rather than us wanting Sonakshi to falter, Sonakshi to be vulnerable, Sonakshi to be proven bad mom...

I believe a couple can never be equal to each other in everything. But they must have at least something special where there partners lack.
Here I felt a lot of hard work was done by Sonakshi with very little reciprocation from Dev. May be now is his chance? will he so something special for her now, after knowing how she has raised such an awesome child all alone. How she might have carried through her pregnancy all alone...
I hope Jatin turns out to be good guy who in a way shows mirror to Dev.

I also hope the new entry is a bubbly sweet girl who shows a mirror to Sonakshi to not be so giving that in the end nothing is left for you.

BTW, Soha looks really good with Shaheer. such awesome chemistry
