Seriously, @deepsel. Thank God, writers like you exist. 😃 Viewers have taken sides with characters and perhaps want to see what their mind says! But, Creatives have their own team. Their own thoughts, their own story. I agree with one of the writers here that 'feminism' is getting wrongly defined in this show, while intelligence has gone for a walk in slow motion. I liked Sonakshi's character post leap, but now I think she is very whimsical and dumb. I liked Dev pre-leap and still trying to figure out what are the Creatives trying to do with him now!! The arguement would continue...till the show ends. And if it's ends abruptly, the forum would become silent! I am enjoying the comments... 😃

At 0.70 TRP, this show is doing pretty well as per Sony TV standards, thou I wonder how long this show would last. I wait for some good poignant moments next week.

Mr Das : Enjoy while it lasts.

In sync with most or the comments here
Was wondering about the direction the story is going as atleast after the goon attack i expectee them to soften up to each other. If they don't want each other's presence in their lives why sona is insisting on the office space .. may be she can work from home. And why does dev ask her to go away when he keeps looking ands following her...questions are we more confused or the cvs more confused?

Proudly disagree with you .

Dev Dixit and Sonakshi Bose - for me is realistic characters. Characters with faults. and l loved those characters.
I repeat I love both characters. I don't belong to any camp like you all guys- Team Sona or Team Dev.

I like Kuch rang pyar ke aise bhi because characters are like me. I am not prefect person. I am person with a lots of faults. May be you guys are so prefect almost like God or goddess. But I am human😕 and so i liked human characters 😳

Saying the above line I would also like to clarify that neither I am person who will look for my life inside characters as well. These serial and characters are made for enjoyments. I watch, enjoy and I forget is my principle.

Points you have mentioned is so shocking 😲 for me that I don't want to give any explanation considering you and me are standing at opposite ends.

Failure of marriage of Devakshi - Both Dev and sonakshi are responsible. ALso Ishwari and Bose papa are equally responsible for creating the mess in their life. Ishwari never accepted Sonakshi as her bahu and Bose never accepted Dev as son in law.

How their life changed after breakup? What happens after their divorce? How destiny plays its role ?Their journey is still incomplete.

One thing is very much clear after reading your post - You don't like this serial and as per your analysis nothing is left in the serial and it should end.
But for me

Famous SRK LINE - is baat ka bhi yakeen ho gaya, ki humari filmon ki tarah humari zindagi mein bhi end mein sab theek ho jaata hai.
Happys Endings. Aur agar, aur agar theek na ho to woh the end nahin hai dosto, picture abhi baaki hai.

So am positive person unlike feminist groups and wants to see positive end of this serial. For me picture abhi baaki hai.

Also like to mention- Only forumwaais is criticising this leap. I can give you 10000000000000000000000 shots of twitter where people are requesting everyone not to go to forum . Forum is full of negative people and their so called intelligent analysis of pov post.

Now am proudly agreeing with twitterwaais .Indeed forum is full of negative post( except- Sam analysis and Jyoti, Soni, Survi, Fero, Monal, Abi, Mishti, Krystle, few more.)

P.S No intention to disrepect anyone's feeling .😊 I am too stress out reading over negative post. Enough of it for my little tiny miny brain cells😳

You have missed the whole point dear, and it looks very conveniently too. Initially, i thought i will explain to you what i wrote but on second thoughts decided against it. It is easy to talk to people who can take views gracefully. You do this forum a great injustice by comparing it to twitter. I am on twitter and see all that is going on there. The less i talk of it the better. Then you also take some names as reference as if what they write is the gospel truth. Yes, i do like what they write too and also click the "like" button many times. But this forum is not a political party where names matter. it is views that matter. Also, you do not make a better point by writing in bigger letters or colorful letters. The substance remains the same.

It is clear that you are enjoying the show so i am actually jealous that you do. I am trying hard but.. there is no connect with my heart and my simple mind.

finally, why is my post affecting your state of mind? it only shows that there must be some element of truth in what i have said. Finally, please do enjoy the show in whichever state it is.. My views hardly matter.

To be honest, some of the post leap episodes were well written and were loved by audience including me.. But even after this, I still somewhere feel that this show did not require leap at all.. Of course, we all have accepted the leap, but I feel the story would have been brilliant had they continued with the separation and not leap..

As for Dev, there's one improvement in him that we all like.. That he no longer falls for his mother's emotional blackmail.. He has become a different person.. That's a good point... But still, even after this improvement, I don't see a reason why Dev and Sona should reunite again..

As you said, there would be no difference between this and Neha's case.. I am still in doubt whether they will show any proper redemption and realization of Dev's love or just do it in a flash..😕

it is not about leap anymore. it is about connect. I just am unable to connect with my heart and mind. The extremes they have shown about Dev does not make sense to me, because at the end of the day, they would have to show Sona and Dev back together isn't it? ( unless they do not want to). I am also sick and tired of Dev bashing ( even i am guilty of doing it many times and justifiably so).. Then they bring in a new entry to be Mr Perfect.. this is not going well at all.

We all know that Dev is actually a good guy ( lot of instances shown in V1.0). why is it that they do not show anything good in him in V2.0, beats me. They better show Dev doing some good things at least so that the characterization is balanced. I feel this balance is completely lost and that is why there is no connect. Yes, apparently some people are enjoying this but i am unable to.. right now i am just going through the motions.

You feel show has become one sided in favour of Sona but let me show you how the other side feels -

1. Sona has become arrongant and rude post leap. Her anger n mean words towards Dev has also been termed bitchy
2. She never really loved Dev n never understood his POV whereas Dev's love was selfless n unconditional
3. She complained abt being outsider in Dev's house but never confided anything abt Bose fam to Dev
4. Dev was so worried in S1 Sona's accident scene but Sona didn't even shed one tear for Dev post goons attack. She is that cold and indifferent now
5. Sona was the sole reason of separation. She left Dev even when he chose Sona over his family
6. Returning that 5cr was not bcoz of family's self respect but bcoz of her ego. She was wrong in returning that money
7. Dev was right to tell her Get out bcoz she held his collar infront of his family
8. She accused him of everything going wrong in their marriage
9. She didn't trust Dev n believed only Vicky
10. She hid Soha from Dev for her selfish reasons, to punish Dev
11. Sona should have realised that all those harsh words Dev said was bcoz he was angry n hurt..how can she believe those words
12. Sona's parenting has been questioned...she can't even see how much Soha miss her Dad. Soha is so boring n unhappy bcoz of Sona's parenting
13. Sona badmouths Dev infront of Soha
14. She neglects Soha and is only worried about her business n insulting Dev
15. Sona never stops Bijoy from badmouthing Dev
16. She was so desperate to become a good bahu that she never tried to become good wife n hence the separation
17. She acts just like Bijoy...hot headed irrational
18. She is just like Ishwari...insecure
19. Sona mocks abt Dev's business n achievements
20. She calls Dev mumma's boy n spineless
21. She shud be blamed for trying to help out Ish in kitchen or managing Dev's wardrobe - this resulted in Ish's insecurities
22. She put that ghastly jhula in room n didn't remove it even after Dev got hurt
23. She moved on...earlier also she was ready to get married to Rithwik n now happy with Jatin
24. Sona became successful only bcoz of Dev's harsh words motivated her

N the list continues...
So maybe Dev n Sona are actually on a level playing field n they truly deserve each other.

Rival camps? i think you have missed the whole point. at least i do not belong to any rival camp. I belong to only one camp and that is to watch a sensible KRPKAB, for my favorite two stars. What you have said only affirms the basis for what i wrote but misses the whole point of what i have said. With Sona having successfully accomplished and proven so many things, now what is left? will any girl in Sona's place ever dream of going back to Dev? if they want us to believe it, then they better show some real hard virtues of Dev.. and i would love seeing it in him rather than in any other Mr Perfect.

Dev was considerate and loving - Who behaves like an inconsiderate husband who can't even see his wife's suffering.

Sonakshi was confident, straight shooter - Who becomes a complete doormat who was willing to have a baby to gain approval of her mother-in-law who made it clear that she is nothing more than a means to an end.

How? Why?

But that's what is being showed.

Only one question Tia. Are there reasons being shown that Sona would want to get back with Dev, other than the biological fact that Soha is his daughter? is that enough? I want them to show the virtues of Dev now.. it has been more than 240 odd episodes and all we get is a bad, terrible, going worse Dev. Come on man, he is much better than that otherwise Sona would not have fallen in love with him in the first place.

Post leap, both Dev and Sona have changed a lot - and at least for now, what I see is that CVs are probably highlighting their role reversal. I wrote this in another post and repeating it now.

I always held the view that sona was always right until yesterday. But no, she had hher flaws which need introspection. Everything in life is so overrated. Pride, self respect, ego, love everything takes a backseat with time. After 7 years of separation, both Dev and Sona are incomplete and their daughter is devoid of her father's love. Had they communicated, Sona would have pulled strings and not become a scapegoat in the hands of toxic Dixits, their married life would have turned into a bliss.

In the end, Dev lost everything because of his flaws and one person who could have lifted him from his misfortune left him and started off afresh. I fail to understand what kept Dev reaching out to Sona in all these years - itna kya gussa, he is a fuss pot, that's it. He learnt the hard way which has changed him fundamentally.

Sona should now share Soha with Dev - enough of staying separate. Reconcile and share love, away from Dixits and Boses! Wonder how that will happen.

But I also feel that Sona is over Dev and her love or romance is nonexistent. May be when a woman becomes a mother, wife or romance takes a backseat. And in Sona's case, her Dev died when soha was born.

well said Sia. i completely agree.. there is only one wish remaining and that is to show the good side of Dev now.. We have seen enough now. Like what gauri said and i think she is very optimistic, maybe somethings will be revealed in the upcoming episodes.. But please, i just want to see a better Dev now.. the old sensitive, quick to realise dev, well behaved Dev, respectful Dev..

I agree with you. I wanted to see a positive change in Dev's character in season 2, but other than growing a spine in front of his mother, there's absolutely no virtue in that guy in this season. In fact all the virtue he had in season 1, he lost. Now to answer your question, as of how things stand, no. There's absolutely no reason for Sonakshi to go back to Dev, and certainly not for Soha.

They are still very much incompatible and now they no longer even respect each other. So even if somewhere deep deep deep down any love still remain, what good is that love at this stage without respect and compatibility?

However, CVs are not showing any redemption for Dev. I don't see how they can justify this constant degradation of one of the most beloved characters?

What I don't want to happen though is for them to degrade Sonakshi's character to bring them on the same level. Instead I'd like to see for them to raise Dev's character to match Sonakshi's character which the have raised to a certain high standard.

I honestly feel that the makers and writers have failed to understand the audience of this show.

From what I have understood there are a few types of viewers of this show:
1. People who were attracted by the simplicity and freshness of this story
2. People who watch the show for the leads regardless of the actual story
3. People who watch to analyze the nuances of the dialogs and scenes hoping for a great story
4. People who watch just for all the tashan and romance and to some extent now in season 2 the "girl power" of Sona, regardless of how illogical it is or how ridiculously out of the realm of reality the situations are, or how it takes away from the actual story.

I really hope that the makers visit this forum to read the threads that show them that there are far more people in groups 1,2,3 than there are in group 4.
I feel however that they pay more attention to the people on twitter who seem to be praising the show and in my opinion appear to belong more to group 4 than the other 3 groups. I dont believe group 4 is a large part of their actual audience/viewership they are just more vocal on a more visible platform.
I have seen people who bring up valid complaints about the story on twitter being shutdown in the most brutal of ways.

The shows trp will never be above 0.7 regardless of what they do so I wish they would just get on with telling the story they intended to or gracefully end it. This show was never meant to be a trp star because I really do believe it was aired at the wrong time slot and was pitted against the wrong type of shows on the other channels.

Also it bothers me that people seem to think taunting, screaming in public and in front of their employees is seen as entertaining tashan ... Isn't this just saas-Bahutu drama of the new generation where the leads fight over really petty issues in very public ways? Season 1 also had tashan between the leads but it was far more subtle and added to the story, the season 2 tashan is just noise to me and doesn't move the story forward.

Also, and this is only my opinion I dont believe what Sona is doing represents girl power or feminism, she is being dramatic for drama. Girl power and feminism does not mean stooping to the other persons level it means rising above and proving your worth through your actions and accomplishments.

Edited: I felt that the writers had a plot twist but seem to be taking too long to introduce it

Completely agree and well said. There are far more people in categories 1,2 and 3 that they can imagine. If it was only 4 category audience, I would not be a fan of the show or even be in this forum.

Girl power and feminism is a lot more than what is shown... not trying to do things tit for tat. apparently the CV's have a different view...

You think rehab will happen the way we want it?😊😊😊 At least they can show him leaving the office and rebuilding his life brick by brick with good memories, not bad ones! He is capable and he can do it. Maybe starting a company called Sona Communications! An orphanage in her name, a ward in a hospital by her name! 😊😊
