Geena , that was a beautiful write up dear and I pretty much agree to everything what you have mentioned .

I am also worried what it would take for Ishwari to move past this denial . I don't think Dev's words will work on her since she firmly believes he is lost , and all his words are mere words of anger due to the situation , and ultimately he would find out she was right . I think a third person view needs to be heard here , especially Sona's who was the victim in this . I know she blames her for all the ill happenings in her life , but deep down she still has a soft corner for her .

Now regarding the comment on Sona's new look, I know I would be the only one who would have this opinion 😉, but I do think it was a natural response , not a distraction technique. That line , took me back to one of my childhood incident . There was a family feud happening between our family n my mother's sisters family, I still don't remember the reason, but remember my mother was really mad at her and was furious at the situation. It was kind of cold-war situation and our families didn't meet up for long time , and one day I saw her unexpectedly , and went and talked to her . I wasn't sure if I tell my mother that I met her , how she would react . Still I thought I would tell her expecting her to be mad at me , but the first thing she asked me was how she looked , I was confused , but later on realized how much my mom was missing her and wanted to see her . As much as Ishwari blames Sonakshi, from the time she heard the news of Sona in Delhi , I think she kind of had the curiosity to meet her . If you take Dev out of the equation they both shared a good bond and genuinely liked each other. If you remember Sona's exit from Dixit house , it was not to Dev , but to Ishwari , she told "I'm really leaving ", there was a kind of trust and expectation from Sona that she would stop her . Which is exactly why I'm hoping Sona would not be really happy knowing the estranged relationship between her so called "mamma's boy" and his mother now. And I hope Ishwari have enough strength to withstand the day she realizes her mistakes.

Today Dev reminded me so much of a parent in his behaviour with Ishwari. She did something she wasn't supposed to and he scolded her for it and remained mad at her for the rest of the day. When she came and confronted him, he tried to exercise authority and claim that he didn't want to talk about Sona... the topic was off limits, but Ishwari dropped her doozie of a one-liner and left. Later he went to check on Ishwari and make sure she was warm and comfortable. It was so like a parent who has punished thier child very severely during the day, and they know it's the right thing to stay strong and stick to their conviction, but their heart melts seeing their kid upset and they go to check on them when the kid is asleep. Dev believed he had said and done the right things, because Ishwari really did upset his equilibrium with her childish plea to Asha, but that doesn't mean he doesn't love her. He just wants what is best for their whole family, and he no longer sees Ishwari as capable of those decisions; he sees her (accurately to a large extent) as a naive child who understands the world in a very limited way, and who can't see past her own sheltered point of view. He sees her as someone who has to be protected from herself.

Oh legit I have fallen for this guys named Dev dixit..Inspite of all the flaws Ishwari has inspite of all the indifference and complaints..He still came and showed his concern to Ishwari putting blanket on her..She might have failed him as mothr to an extent but he never failed her as son !!

Agree with u Sam on dev treating ishwari like kid ...but i feel dev had always respected Ishwari but treated her like a kid ...Dev was like a father to Ishwari who loves to pamper n spoil his daughter n give into all her demands irrespective of d fact whether dey r right or wrong ...

PS dev is capable of giving so much love and care dat ot amazes me at tyms

Question is Why are Sona and Dev Angry and not indifferent to each other?

Haven't watched the episode but wanted to pose this question if anyone has answers

I can understand Sona's anger but why is Dev Angry?
