At last finished reading entire thread. @Sam & Shaavi, wonderful write-up on ishwari. She may be having her reasons for each of her actions but I have lost connect with this character to empathize or sympathize. I refuse to address her as a mother since I can't accept parents using their kids as tools to achieve what they want or what they were not able to in their life.

@Sam, amazing write-up on invisible ink.

And also to all wonderful writers on this thread, it's a pleasure reading such different and unique perspectives which were presented without disrespecting others povs in a healthier way. This thread became my one stop destination in this forum and I don't even know what else is happening outside this thread now a days. Life became too peaceful and thanks to Sam and dq for coming up with this concept.

@Sjain, I don't have any complaints or disappointments wrt this show since I don't have any expectations. There was a time when I was emotionally invested in this show a bit too much but not anymore after their first break up since this is not the story I have signed up, so I have emotionally detached myself from this show long back and taking only one episode at a time as it's served.

though I never lost the connect with the story completely but yes bits and pieces disappointed me time to time..the ups and downs were their but in later stage with Neha's story left unfinished or Ria's chapter left abruptly
the quality of makers to subtly and emotinally handle tracks was somewhere lost..they left so many open ends..i wish like they shud have closed neha's chapter in 10 eposodes kerping it real mature nd interesting but it was dragged to no end

With Dev Sona theor char for me always stayed intact atleast the core of their tole was always their which I admire..relationships became complicated but these complications could have been introduced in a more..err..hmm..simplified subtle manner keeping emotional factor strong..though I understand they needed drama as its a TV show and it was required too but it could hav been done in a better way..well leap disappointed me to no end..thats were they failed me totally..
well I try to maintain safer distamce but Shaheer erica's exceptional talent pulls me back so many times sighh They bring Dev Sonakshi alive on screen..effortlessly

Its best to just stick to episode instead on looking at past episodes or thinking of future ones LOL

@sjain, Feel free to share your views anytime my friend and you don't have to agree with my thoughts to reply to my post and it's completely fine and I respect your POV irrespective of whether I agree with you or not till it's presented in a respectable way. Life is not same for all us so our perspective towards it also may not be same even if we consider same situation since life won't run on any rule book.

Yesterday's episode amazing

Sonakshi - Dev - Ishwari

Its always truly been about these three , from the time Dev and Sona dated they made everything about Ishwari then already Dev told Sona just how important his mother is to him and she did everything to please his mother even started calling her maa before (well I don't feel calling maa is wrong I take that as a sign of respect ) but strangely Sona never not once spoke about the importance of her parents so there was already two different expectations from each other Dev wanting Sona to love and respect his mother the same he does but as she never spoke about her parents he didn't feel their importance .

After marriage again whatever both did it was only to ensure Ishwari's happiness but in this Dev failed to let his mother know that she is loved by both her son and daughter in law

Ishwari saw her workaholic son changing due to his wife it frightened her

yet she did not want to let Dev know so it was best to taunt Sona while she too did not let Dev know

when their marriage broke yes it was due to themselves and family members pulling them apart

Now after seven years Sona still feels that Dev has not changed she sees his dress code changed and assume its his childish behavior but she has no idea about the Dev that changed personality wise , now when she confronts him its always about the talk seven years back and still today he has not changed telling his mother every detail about him

her taunts to him was almost as if saying stand on your own be independent stop getting your mother involved .

Ishwari on the other hand first had a problem with Sona as she was working for them so she had to maintain her professional persona and not pursue Dev , Ishwari later when she found out that Dev is in love with Sonakshi could not be happy no matter how hard she tried and that's because she and Dev has been a team always since her husband died

her love and care for him grew in an obsession one that made her happy

having someone else in Dev's life would mean he has to split his happiness his time and devotion this very thought killed Ishwari

that is the very reason she cannot understand Dev's outburst towards her

she blames either Sonakshi and now Asha its not that she is doing deliberately he certainly has a deep obsession that its her world with her son

Dq & Looneygirl : Hilarious ladies😆 ..add me to the "mature woman drool party"..I can be very valuable you see 😉

Mahua and Payal : Agree to your "Momma's boy and pappa's girl" discussion. I dont want to talk about feminism as that term hold a very skewed meaning nowadays😆. The only place where i found Sona differed from Dev is both listened to their respective parent but when it came to taking own decision Sona1.0 scored more. The moment she sees this Dev 2.0 she will have to eat her words for "Momma's boy" taunts. Moreover nowadays I have stopped taking anything serious these two lunatic lovers talk..another tsunami might wash it off😆

Sam: Beautiful beautiful analysis on "invisible Ink"👏 Though I envisioned your first reason, your abstract second reason was spot on and it didn't cross my mind at all!! I am feeling very pity for Suha nowadays seeing her alone without any friends , proved being self -righteous is not enough after all...she need that father figure fast to teach her the shrewd ways to tackle today's world.. !

Great going everyone..looks like I need to allocate separate timings to read the thread leisurely 😆

Episode was cracker

Need to see repeat before putting my thoughts properly

But quite an exciting one with Dev Sonakshi openning up tiny bit..their faces eyes spoke volumes ..maza aaya HAHA

"In 7 saalon mein tuney ek se hi rishta nibhaya hai Sonakshi se".. aaj kuch sahi boli Ishwari Dixit..he had actually maintained it, what ever he had even if its hate..

"woh shayad khud se gussa hai"..she reads him so nicely

Sonakshi looked uncomfy for the first time..Oh Asha's question was odd but brought a very amusing answer from Sonakshi and her face eyes had somerhing else oh lady

Dev Golu scene are legit cuteness but this time it had different emotions attached to it

All in all ..episode was like bag of emotions..whole lot of them ..very engaging

This is exactly my thoughts . I could not imagine Dev ,knowing Sona n her family being thrown out of their house , and assuming its his mistake , would not do anything about it . I mean the same day they had a fight over Sona's decision of taking loan , n he was concerned about her family .

I still think we are missing some parts of the puzzle . I mentioned in one of my post , post leap in each meeting Sona was pretty much direct about her anger . Her words to Sruthi , and taunts to Dev reflected all the things that hurt her the most . But thats not the case with Dev , he still has not revealed much .

Although I think he was using some situations to convey his thoughts . Like his taunt with "maintaining relationships " , he was hurt that she gave up so easily and didn't fight for them . Also his lines during "office-wall fiasco" about "how your queen will be enjoying the wine , when a fire is caught and you will be running for your life" , and "how easily you could lie in front of them that you care " pretty much describes what he feels . He hates that it was easy for her to move on when he is having a hard time to keep up the charade .

Love reading ur thoughts 👍🏼, havent finished the thread yet hope I 'l get enough time this week .

for a change ishwari was right today ...when she said dev ne itne saalon me sirf sona se hi rishta nibhaaya hai chahe nafrat ka hi sahi ...it tells how far dev has moved frm h8s family wid whom he shares his house n on d contrary is still attached to sona whom he has seen almost after 7 years ...
