Suppose I order a mobile from Amazon - cash on delivery. When they deliver the mobile, they obviously ask for cash which I refuse to give, but keep on crying that they had promised to give me that mobile, that they are not respecting their end of the bargain.
What I fail to realise is - am I keeping my end of the bargain? A contract is complete when both the parties fulfil their responsibilities, else it is null and void.

If Sonakshi had promised to be with Dev always, he had also promised to care for her, to cherish and respect her and to ensure that she was respected by his family. Dev has realised a lot of his errors and corrected them. But has he realised that he himself through his actions freed her of all her promises?

If he has, then why the anger? Why not a resigned acceptance?

Now coming to my lovely Ishwari and her bhaiyaj. - daayan bhi saat ghar chod deti hai. I would love Dev to say this once to her.

I can understand her and mamajis concern. Being myself born and brought up in a North Indian family I know how important it is for them to know where you are or how you can be contacted at any point of time - else your family will get a heart attack.

What irritated me was her complete refusal to understand Dev's feelings. Your son runs to save his ex wife putting his own life in danger and instead of realising how much he still pines for her, you keep ranting about yourself.

I think in her quest to be God, Ishwari forgot to be a mother. It's plain and simple. The only thing she wants is devotion of a devotee not the happiness of her child.

She forgot that a mother only gives, selflessly, all the time as as her child's happiness automatically becomes her happiness.

Ishwari in her desire to become God has ended up becoming a monster.

In today's episode what stuck out was that sona can still read Dev accurately. She saw anger and he expressed it later on too. Asha I think has clued into that
Dev actually explained why he feels anger among other emotions. The fuzion article tonight covers the same. He wanted her to stick to him despite the odds. The anger is not only will sonakshi. It's with himself, his circumstances and even his mother. He himself says the decision he took for himself was wrong. He doesn't say the person he chose was wrong.

Another brilliant episode today , I have to give todays episode to writers , some awesome dialogues . 👏👏👏 My favourite one being Ishwari's .

"Whether it was of hatred or not , that was the only relationship you kept in all these years ..."

It was the ultimate truth , which Dev didn't want to face yet . I am not sure if Dev was angry for listening to the ugly truth ,or for the fact that his mother is still as insecure as before .

I loved Golu-Dev conversation, for the first time in these 7 years Dev might have put down his guards .

Its amazing that innocent Golu asked the question directly, which elders were scared to ask . And Dev's words "I don't know about now , but when I did , I loved her so much ... " post leap for the first time my heart went out for him.

Sona was really taken aback, by Dev's actions and first time we saw a vulnerable Sona , she could take on Mr.Abhodru but not this Dev . I'm happy that Asha could see how Dev still affects her even when she repeatedly says it doesn't matter now .

Now the interesting thing is both Sona and Dev projects what they wanted to see in each other. Dev blames her for giving upon their relationship and moving on so easily and Sona's indifference/arrogance helps him to prove his theory. Now Sona thinks she saw anger in his eyes - anger comes from the guilt that he separated her from his life . Now I think that's what exactly she wanted to see, because that's the Dev she knew, who loved her immensely and became crazy when the first time the separation happened. But not even once they think that maybe they have some contribution towards that anger.

In a way they are protecting themselves. Because this anger is the only thing that gets him going all these years. In the previous separation, he had convinced himself he had a valid reason, which is his mother and he was doing the right thing. But this time if he admits he was responsible, and count his mistakes, he would be shattered beyond repair . Likewise if Sona thinks she is the reason behind this soul less arrogant Dev who doesn't care for anything and anyone, who would go to any length to hurt someone , her conscious would eat her peace of mind . Because Sona very well knew Soha was her driving force and her strength to move on in her life . And by hiding the truth of Soha from Dev , she took away the only thing that might have given him a purpose in his lost life .

I am really looking forward to see some honest conversation tomorrow in the car where they might see each other beyond that mask .

The look on Sona's face when she saw Dev lying in that blood pool , gave me chills , and that BGM in that final scene it was so emotional . Not even in her dreams she wouldn't have imagined she might go through these strong emotions again specially for the person whom she thinks she hates the most in this world . Erica was just brilliant !!! I am happy that we are getting some really good episodes in this week , TBH last week pace was so slow .

@Sam The invisble ink - one brilliant piece of writing - no other words 👏👏👏

Exactly this the the point Its a long long back Ishu has forgotten that she is the mother of dev . She was so happy with his god status. That why she never understood his own son.

But after 7 years of separation also sona still have that connect with dev. I feel no one should get the family like diixit to any one.

Three more episodes left this week, which would throw more light on the emotional connect between the leads and how they actually affect each other. 😃 I was happy that the continuity in script is being maintained and the pace has picked up. Vicky beating Dev was expected as it was clear that he wanted Dev away from the office. This was the only way.

Sonakshi reaching there was quite startling. That's where the Creatives scored. Sonakshi replayed the previous night's scene in her mind and it's clear that she was affected. The fact that Dev reached out to her during a crisis wasn't expected, so she was amazed. She hid her emotions when speaking with Asha. But, Asha knows better. 😳

Dev reaches home, upset and when questioned is angry. Rightly so. He prefers being indifferent to Sonakshi. At least behaves that way and even told Ishwari that the only feeling left for him is hatred. Really Dev? His anger stems from the fact that he is concerned for her safety and when he carried her out to safety, did he feel something more!! 😳 His confession to Golu that he loved Bigchi, once upon a time, is revelation enough!! He is worried about loving her again. Is he falling in love with her, again, after she left him and broke her promise? The fact that he called Sonakshi by mistake, proves that she was still playing on his mind!! You can only feel intense anger towards a person whom you love selflessly. I have to conclude that Dev loves Sonakshi - even after 7 years. 👏

This is moreso with Ishwari's one liner,"Tumne saat saalon ek hi toh rishta rakha hain!!" It was like showing Dev a mirror. If all he did was hate Sonakshi since she walked away, it's clear that Dev never got her out of his system and his reason for spending time and dating other women was to try and get her out of his mind!! Dev walking to Ishwari's bedroom to cover her with a blanket is giving ample proof that his caring side is on its way back. How the Creatives would twist this remains to be seen. 😃

Sonakshi rushes to save Dev? Why? The concern was apparent. True, she has revealed her humanitarian side to viewers, but the anxiety, the calling out, the frantic way of searching points to only one thing - the mask is peeling and how?? 😳 Else, as a good citizen, she could have just called the police? 😃

Interesting episodes ahead.

Edits : I read in the forum about a new character being introduced in the show. If that's how it's going forward, I would like the Creatives to show Dev in a different light. The saying goes,"If you love someone fiercely, let go. If the person loves you back, he would come back to you, forever!" Dev should not start acting like the lover pre-leap who insulted Ritwik, ruined their dinner date etc. He should act like Ajay Devgn in Hum Dil... 😃 Sonakshi needs to reflect whether she still wants Dev to be a part of her life forever. The choice should entirely be hers.

Just wanted to apologise. I wanted to write Ishwari and her bhaiya in my previous post but autocorrect made it Ishwari and her bharwa. I have corrected the post and am really sorry if someone found it offensive

Happy to see the story moving ahead of petty office fights. More than trust and respect the main issue with these two is lack of communication. Instead of bakwaas promises like I will do anything to keep you in my life OR I will not leave you even if you leave me, these two needs to have a honest heart to heart talk regarding their terms and conditions of their relationship.

Sona, I thought your love is unconditional and you just need your Prince charming but looks like you too have conditions apply tag. I thought you married him since you love him but I never knew that you also wanted a life time driver. I was rolling on the floor after seeing Dev's what the expression in the precap. Sona, don't give him shocks like this yaar.😆

Another great episode from the makers, and great pacing of the story as well. I liked that ishwari made Dev realize even in hatred she is the only one he is attached to. And loved the Asha and Sona convo, very similar to something Ish-Dev would have had in Season 1. As the episodes progress, we really get to see how much Sona 2.0 is similar to Dev1.0. And vice versa. Very important for the pending reconciliation , because they both need to walk a mile in the other perosn's shoes. Sona needs to feel what's it's like t shoulder responsibility of a family, always be the strong one, even when you feel weak, be the upbeat one when you just want to slump down, pretty much like Dev 1.0 and Dev needs to experience freedom of thought, expression and action, something Sona was used to. I think this is where their marriage failed, their inability to empathize with each other's personalities, though they claimed to understand and love each other.
Loved the ,moments between Dev and Golu. Showd how perceptive that little one is. Sees and Feels the tension in the house and runs to see if his BigCha was ok. I feel Dev has had a huge role in his upbringing so far, and like Devm Golu is such an emotional, perceptive and warm hearted child. Reminds me of Dev in his formative years would have been. That takes me to a discussion that I had, that though society dictated which child would "invest" the most in, I don't think even she anticipated how much Dev as a child would respond to emotions and go above and beyond the call of school/studying and securing a future for himself. I believe Ishu as a single mom pressured Dev to study ad work hard, but prob never expected him to take on the role of care giver and that made her to emotionally dependent on him. That lead to her thinking of them as a team and her rock.Beneath her insecurities also lies a strong emotional depencpdency on Dev, that she just cannot shake off. Anyways, enough ramblings, good night y'all. But I will say, Ishu has to be one of the most fascinating characters I have had the pleasure to watch. Hats off to the actress for beautifully curating an imperfect ishwari.

@sam, the invisible ink piece was a masterpiece 👏
@Danseuse, I really liked what you wrote.

These two are playing juvenile games. 😆 . There is a song too - talkin' 'bout you and me and the games people play' 😳 this is exactly what these two are playing at. Unless they set aside their ego and thrash it out they'll still be on the merry go-round not going anywhere - just round and round. I'm glad too that the story is moving forward. I can't wait for the confrontation to happen - between Dev and Sona. That would be one hell of a scene to watch. Actually in my heart of hearts I want a maha episode for resolving - don't want to wait for a staggered episode 😆 . With Sona's friend coming in the picture - I too don't want Dev to be totally stalkerish a la Rithwick scenario. I want him to be cool and collected and though he feels jealous should not let it get the better of him especially in front of Sona and I want Sona to be really surprised about Dev 2.0. Sigh... these CVs are totally unpredictable and after all it's their story to tell.

P.S : I googled the actor supposedly playing 'Jatin' 😆. He is good looking but definitely not a match for our handsome hottie, Dev Dixit 😳 .
