Yes, most guys in real life behave like Dev. Its just particularly shocking that Dev would transform to this extent (read: degrade to lower levels)...

I didnt expect him to be so bitter and revengeful. I thought he would atleast put up a good front in front of the media.

Yes, there is some weird, sadistic kinda love there, the kind that will just not draw a woman like Sona in anymore😲

Ya so true. But I guess Dev is still struck in 5 stages of grief yet. Since we dont know what happened after prenup drama, we are assuming they were never in contact. That's why he is still going thru those 5 stages whereas Sona have passed those 5 stages and have reached to acceptance.
Dev was pretty naive in handling the relationships anyway. Our parents teach us how to handle and balance all the relationships whereas Ishwari did not teach him any and that's why he tried to keep everyone happy and thus he failed. Sona tried to keep lot of patience but they had lot of things against them and Sona could have never erase those 28 years of training of Ishwari. He is a guy with troubled childhood and can never have normal life. He got that chance with Sona but his surroundings made it so harder for him and thus he flipped and went to other extreme end and became this version

👏👏👏 LOVED your fiery analysis of ice queen vs. sore abusive loser!

Boses are the BEST of parenting, Ishwari is the WORST of parenting!

Ishu and her son are suffering from NPD, they are never at fault, its always Sona's fault!

Dev questioned Ishu abt the prenup 7 yrs ago, now he has forgotten all abt it? Wasnt the prenup the final nail on the coffin?

As for turning the ML into a shameless casanova, a mean bully, what can we expect?

The show has a MALE writer, MALE producer/director.

They love to show the ML as abusive, mean, even vicious!

But that is supposed to be LOUWE in their dictionary! 🤢

Yeah, Right! Abuse= Love? In what world? In their male fantasy?

FL is supposed to tolerate/digest all the accusations, insults, abuse, at the hands of ML and still have love for him deep in her heart?

Yeah, you wish, MALE CVs...any woman with self respect cannot love such a man who repeatedly insults her and her parents, accuses her wrongly, never defends her against insulting relatives, throws her out of his house and then blames her for leaving him! 😲

In my dictionary, if there is no respect then there is no Love! Period!

However I do think Sona made a blunder at the awards ceremony. She shd not have thanked her ex husband, she shd have just ignored him!
By mentioning him she gave importance to him and that gave him a chance to retaliate and be nasty/ mean, snatching away her trophy.

This whole trophy matter is so immature, nasty, washing dirty linen in public, Dev is behaving like a juvenile delinquent. 🤢

Bang on ! Brilliant post !

You know from the beginning I have always felt this that the Boses gives us serious family goals... Sona is indeed very lucky to have parents like Bijoy and Asha and now a mature daughter Soha... Bijoy was trying to keep an eye on Sonakshi, but when Asha explained her as to why he was wrong, he immediately apologized.. This understanding is what makes them the best...

Regarding Sonakshi, I agree with you. I was very happy when she didn't pay attention to any of Dev's actions today.. If it was difficult for Dev these 7 years, it was even more difficult for Sona... She had to achieve success, make her parents proud, pay the loan and also look after her daughter.. She accomplished everything and beat all odds..

Regarding Dev, ab kya kahu, you said it all... Most probably, 99.9 %, we know that Dev and Sona will reunite eventually... But after seeing Dev's actions, I really wonder how it's going to happen.. Coz in real life, I am damn sure no one would want this.. It's going to take something very very big for Dev to win back Sona now.. Can't even imagine...

I really don't know how this two will reunite or should reunite?Sona has clearly far away from this.Soha might bring peace in Dev's life. But I don't know how Sonakshi fits in the angle or can she love him again ever the way she used too 😕 And don't talk about DD he is one egoistic man in Sadda Haq Randhir was 😕 but he was not sleeping with other women but yaha pe toh Dev is degraded in all ways 😕 And he doesn't want to commit after doing the deed 😕 what can be worst than that 😕

Of course I do!

This is a TV soap, and the show is nothing without the leads. So yes, eventually theywill reunite but then I dont want the "coming together" to happen in a slipshod manner, Hindi film wali deewangi types, with Sona thinking that all the shit he has been doing since the time he saw her is just an expression of his true love or something.

That would defeat the woman she was, is and has become.

If they do get back together (which they will) then it needs to happen because Dev realized where he f**ed up, and stand up to his mother, call her and his family members out for what ass***** they all are and consider his marriage vows and love to Sona as his topmost priority. Hold his relationship ABOVE all that sanskaari zimmedari din.

They should not reunite, considering Dev has just gotten a notch worse than he already was.

But they will reunite, because this is the CVs vision and this kinda push-me-pull-me love story sells.

I can see Dev changing for Suhana, but honestly, I really dont see how Sona fits in all this. And I dont want him to be with Sona because he wants Suhana in his life.

They are two separate entities, his equation different with both of them, so if he needs them both in his life he needs to man up in two diff ways, be a good father who sets the right example, be a good husband and a companion to Sona in the truest sense. Otherwise zabardasti ka rishta is painful and undignified to endure and watch.

I am not sure if Dev has "done the deed"

Maybe he has? Khair, abhi toh he is single, toh woh apne mann ka kar sakta. But to expect Sona to accept him after this great "transformation" would be too much.

Sorry but I think Randhir too was dating some woman in b/w to get back at Sanyukta...he would deliberately get touchy-feely with her and all that...show off he is in a relationship. Dunno what kind of "strategy" is this to win the woman back???

Bijoy was trying to keep an eye on Sonakshi, but when Asha explained her as to why he was wrong, he immediately apologized.. This understanding is what makes them the best... Absolutely!! And the contrast has been portrayed in such subtle ways...I love the subtlety and the fluidity of it all...

If the makers really are keen on showing scenes "close to reality" then they should realize that NO woman (Sona, No Sona) will agree to give a man like Dev Dixit a second chance. In real life, women will have had enuff and prefer to die unmarried the rest of their lives but put up with the exact same shit years later. So if, Dev wants Sona back, then he better clean up his act, and CHANGE, for real...show some solid progress as a human being, his ability to actually stand by Sona is this game called life. Nai toh it will be the same recycled pagal premi crap which will totally take this show down the drain.

Boses are the BEST of parenting, Ishwari is the WORST of parenting! Yes, and the contrast shows up in almost EVERY single episode. So effortlessly.

Ishu and her son are suffering from NPD, they are never at fault, its always Sona's fault! Oh yes, this is a classic case of NDP. Ishwari cannot see beyond herself and her useless son. All the problems in their lives are coz of Sona. Somehow, in some strange way, Sona ruined them all and went on to have a fantastic life. Boohoo. Do thappad maarne ko mann karta hai aise logon ko😡

Dev questioned Ishu abt the prenup 7 yrs ago, now he has forgotten all abt it? Wasnt the prenup the final nail on the coffin? Yes, like mother, like son. Maa bhool chuki hai ki SHE was the one who asked Sona to leave Dev and walk away from his life. It's like, that scene in Ishwari's "script" never got written. Beta bhool chuka hai Maa ke saare siyappe.😡

As for turning the ML into a shameless casanova, a mean bully, what can we expect?

The show has a MALE writer, MALE producer/director.

They love to show the ML as abusive, mean, even vicious! I have read the concerned author's books (a couple of them). It totally riled me up. Women are used as pawns in the storyline, expected to shrivel up and tolerate the mean, worthless, absolutely irresponsible idiots in the book and make a lead-up to happily-ever-after.

But that is supposed to be LOUWE in their dictionary! 🤢 It's high time people changed the narratives around "louuu". Why do you think these days there are so many hate and revenge crimes against women? Mostly, due to failed relationships. Men just cant take no for an ans, even when they have been the d***heads.😡

Yeah, Right! Abuse= Love? In what world? In their male fantasy?

FL is supposed to tolerate/digest all the accusations, insults, abuse, at the hands of ML and still have love for him deep in her heart? I know!! How the hell is this even humanly possible?? would men be able to do what they expect of women?

Yeah, you wish, MALE CVs...any woman with self respect cannot love such a man who repeatedly insults her and her parents, accuses her wrongly, never defends her against insulting relatives, throws her out of his house and then blames her for leaving him! 😲 Ditto!

In my dictionary, if there is no respect then there is no Love! Period! Absoutely. And in this show, they need to start portraying this to send the right message across.

🤢 Oh yes, she shouldn't have. But wohi naa, she couldn't control. And plus, the impact of meeting this man after so many yrs and have him behave like a moron must have shaken her up a lil bit. But I have to credit her for the awesome damage control she did later. .. wohi main sochun...Dev ko yeh drama karke kya mila?? I mean, minutes ago, the anchor was lauding their post-separation "equation" and how they are setting such a gr88 example. And dev couldn't shut his impulsive mouth and shot off and showed the world what a miserable, vindictive, jealous and arrogant ex-husband he is. Awesome Dev. People will louu u for this. 👏

Yeh nai dekh rahe ki kaise, INDIVIDUALLY aur COLLECTIVELY, Sona ki life jhand kar rakhi thi 7 saal pehle.

And look at Ishwari man, the way she talks! "Sonakshi toh zindagi mein aage badh gayi hai, kamyaab hai, main...main toh wahin hun"

toh kisne kaha tha prenup wale stunt maarne ko...kisne kaha tha Sona ko ki Dev ko chhod de??
is she effin jealous that Sona isnt as miserable as her and her son??

Yeh kya ajeeb "competition" hai bhai!😆

Exactly.. By blaming others they can stay guilt free and make themselves feel better because they want to be the victim.. And not be on the receiving end..🥱

Imagine what all Soha would be hearing about her mother if she's put amidst these people.. If only Dev is not playing I-am-the-victim role here will he be able to save this girl from that suffocating environment.. May be Soha herself will take care of her by giving back left and right to anyone bad-mouthing her mother.. 😉

I'm sure Dev will rush to show his newfound daughter to his mother "Maa, look what I have got for you.. Please be the guiding light for my daughter like you are for me" 😆
