The show has a MALE writer, MALE producer/director.
They love to show the ML as abusive, mean, even vicious! I have read the concerned author's books (a couple of them). It totally riled me up. Women are used as pawns in the storyline, expected to shrivel up and tolerate the mean, worthless, absolutely irresponsible idiots in the book and make a lead-up to happily-ever-after.
But that is supposed to be LOUWE in their dictionary! 🤢 It's high time people changed the narratives around "louuu". Why do you think these days there are so many hate and revenge crimes against women? Mostly, due to failed relationships. Men just cant take no for an ans, even when they have been the d***heads.😡

However I do think Sona made a blunder at the awards ceremony. She shd not have thanked her ex husband, she shd have just ignored him!
By mentioning him she gave importance to him and that gave him a chance to retaliate and be nasty/ mean, snatching away her trophy.
