Great post once again gravity( sorry don't know you name).
Today I felt pity for Dev. He has sunk so much that how he gets out of this stage of life is unimaginable. I also feel pity that there is no one to tell him he's wrong. He needs help. From where that is going to come is the big question. Who is going to pick up the pieces?

How can anybody help a person who thinks he's done no wrong? We thought separation will be the trigger for introspection but the anger has increased manifold.

All this reminds of a Bollywood superstar & his obsession with an actor. He seems to have turned around & probably his family had a big hand in it. Who should Dev turn to to help him help himself?

Thanks Preethik !! (even Ii dont know ur name😆)

I am Akanksha, btw.

When you say this, I do feel pity for him. I feel sorry that he lost out on such a great human being, someone who could've actually lifted him off the darkness entrenched in his selfish, distrustful family. The one person who could correct him wherever her faltered...appreciate him when he did right...help him to rise higher and become a better person.

I did think the leap would bring about some positive changes in Dev. Yahan toh yeh aur adiyal ho gaya hai

And his hapless, disillusioned, spiteful mother is in no position to help/guide him coz she herself is in some La La Land where there's a perpetual board in front of her eyes that says, "SONAKSHI NE MERA GHAR BIKHER DIYA". Am telling you she is gonna lose her marbles one day, if she keeps going Sona Sona day in and day out.

He clearly still thinks about Sona..the flashback proved it...his harkatein prove it.

But what's the use? He orchestrates his own ruin. Why?

My only hope is Mamaji, or one of his younger sisters.

Speaking of the sisters, where are they?? And Neha? Did she die or finally go back to her patidev's house because Dev had had enuff of her. Or maybe Dev nihaboed his "zimmedari" by getting her married off to someone as rich and swanky as him taki ek baar mein uski Neha wali zimmedari khatam hi ho jaye.😆

Bang on post!! You said it all and in real life strong and independent girls like Sona behaved exactly the same way and guys like Dev behave Dev like. CVS are keeping them true to their characters. Sona was shown little on dumber side when she was madly in love but reality is all girls even smart ones behave like Sona when in love but once they rise back, they truly does. Dev can never move on. He holds so much anger and hurt and is not ready to accept his mistake and analyze all the circumstances. He is still very immature.

I'm Preethi.

Well this is serial ki duniya log mar jate, gayab ho jaate hai. Logic nahi chalta yahan.

His only beacon in his life has been Sona. None of family have been of any help. So I'm guessing probably suhana is the wild card here.

Cv of this show have been so unpredictable that I laugh when people sometimes compare this to an EK show.

We had so many predictions a day after the leap sab pe raita phail gaya. Ab yeh thriller ban gaya hai.

I agree to every word. Even the smartest of women act different in love. Have seen it with my own eyes...a couple of my friends are going thru this "blind in love" shit everyday...happened to me too 😆😆

But yes, once we women are done, we are done. Chapter closed.

Yes, most guys in real life behave like Dev. Its just particularly shocking that Dev would transform to this extent (read: degrade to lower levels)...

I didnt expect him to be so bitter and revengeful. I thought he would atleast put up a good front in front of the media.

Yes, there is some weird, sadistic kinda love there, the kind that will just not draw a woman like Sona in anymore😲

Hey there Preeti!!

Suhana?? Maybe yes. But it is highly unlikely Sona will let her daughter hover around this DevDixit😲 He will get the biggest shock of his life though, once he gets to know Soha exists. Phir toh aaj sirf "gf" ka haath jhatak diya, kal toh use gaadi se fenk hi dega agar Soha dikhi toh😆

Hahahaha! EK show toh body-twisters jaise lagte hain. Kabhi bhi, kahin bhi, KUCH BHI HO SAKTA HAI. Logic jaaye tel lene.

speaking of serial ke log - Saurav kahan hai?
I really want to see what happened to Neha...😆😆😆

Beautiful analysis once again!

What a contrast. Ishwari prefers blaming Sona over and over again for Dev's condition and her present equation with her son. "Is mein Dev ki koi galti nai hai" she says. Neither is it her fault, nor is it Dev's..only if they could get together and bitch about Sona and blame her for all the mess, then they'd bond again like before naeen??😡😡

This is so true: The CVs are very good at portraying the contrasting parenting styles since the beginning of the show...This is what has stood out for me in the whole episode..

One end there is Dev and Ish, who dont want to move an inch since 7 years...and blame only Sona...Dev though his character has drastically changed...he is still hung up on "How could Sona ditch him after all the love he had for her"...I would have loved this changed distant, aloof Dev, if only he was not shown having casual relationships,...but its just me...I cant take such relationships...thats my very personal choice...if only he would have realized the wrongs that he and his mom have done to Sona...

and on the other end its Sona...who is far away from where she started 7 years ago...independent, confident, brave, self made...and absolutely love the way she interacts with Soha...she is teaching that little girl how to be by setting an example!
