They didnt need to end Fridays episode the way they did, it was in the makers power.

They didn't need to destroy Devs character the way they did .. They had the luxury of telling a different story without losing popularity of the show due to the love of sharia and their fan following. They were just too incompetent or lazy to do this. This is what is making me feel betrayed and cheated.

I agree.They could have shown Dev differently not like this.May be they want this Phase 2 to be sold as new love story of Dev N Sona.So they took the high voltage drama route.

If many r seeing this as new season.One should understand .That If Sona said the truth before.Then what will CV's show.Just to build the curiosity factor for leap.Suhana N Dev meeting.They took this route of making Sona hiding the truth.Honestly I don't wanted to compare Dev N Sona.Also be so critical reg phase 2.But reading some comments.I felt defending Sona.Like some defending Dev.

2 wrong do not make a right. Technically dev should have been told about suhana.

But imagine you're in sonas place. She has been asked to get out, sign a prenup that denies their child anything from dev, blamed by her own husband that she will never be a mother or a good one etc. She must have been so scared that if dev found out about the kid he could have used his money & crooked ways to snatch the kid from sona. Maybe that's why she chose not to inform him.Now she is has the money to fight them if it ever comes to her custody.

I think this has been devs biggest punishment. For all that he put sona through (yes I agree he loved her ) I think it's king of payback. Feel sorry for him but understand why sona did what she did.

Had Sona informed Dev about her pregnancy, Dev would have used his power to snatch the child from Sona as his Mommy would want a kid, and Dev would be like 'Jab baat maa ki aati hai toh mujhe sahi ghalat samajh nahi aata', then Sona for the sake of the kid might had to go back to the poisonous place and continue with those tortures/mental abuse/physical abuse by Dev and his family and till now might have been a dead case.

Considering the profile of Dev Dixit the great momma's boy, Sona did the right thing. She was a baby making machine in that house, why should she disclose this thing which would have led her to nowhere !

Why should she really inform him that he has a daughter ? His mother made it clear through the prenup that Sonakshi will be responsible for the children if divorce happens .

I feel it is unfair of Sona to not let Dev know about his daughter. No child should be denied a relationship with either parent. I feel sad for the child more than I do for Dev.

However, if Sona had indeed informed Dev, the Dixits in all probability would have snatched the child away from her. Hence, I think Sona did what she did to protect her daughter.

Thank god Sona did not tell him abt child. Even now I was feeling why Sona telling about dev?? Dixit house does not need baby girl..They need boy. If dev was ok with eshwari, do you think eshwari allow dev to get baby girl home?? If at all girl is taken to Dixit house. The child would have suffered with discrimination. Dixit house don't believe in equality.

If she had informed also..what would have happened. He will humiliate her that she need money. .so informing him. At least I am happy child is in safe hand.

I kind of disagree here. I am ok with her telling now. What she did was because of her circumstances. Now she has money she knows she can fight dev if he decides to contest.

The child needs to know & I am happy she keeps her daughters needs first.

Indeed an interesting topic. I have been a silent reader of this forum and have not seen the show for the past 2 weeks. My answer is based on what I read on the forum.

The Topic Maker I guess is attributing Parental Alienation. But do we know for sure that Dev is the father? I mean in the serial paternity has not been proven to say Dev is the father of the child. Did she have an IVF done after the divorce? Was Sona pregnant during the divorce? I am not sure how long divorces take in India but I presume they are never quick so that the spouse could hide visible signs of being pregnant.

From the little I know of the law, in these day and age, courts do not grant custody to one parent - laws have been revised. To get full custody the other parent should be proven incapable of good parenting. Courts today give custody to both unless parties agree to have sole custody with visiting right to the other parent.

If the matter reaches the court, there will be also questions regarding alimony and child maintenance. do we know the struggles Sona had to go through in the past 6 years to raise her child? Why did Dev agree on alimony during the divorce or was there a settlement?

Not sure if CVs are going to explore into the legal aspects. Most serials never portray reality. Shows like these are intended to tug the emotions of the audience and get the audience riled up.

From what I read Sona was unceremoniously thrown out with no support or alimony. I am not sure if they have been legally divorced or are they just separated?

Both are equally guilty.

No reason will justify Sonakshi's decision of keeping the child away from Dev but again she is Sonakshi Bose who can never be wrong .Her every action will be justified .

Let's see if the makers have the guts to show Miss Sonakshi Bose was wrong .

Was it really between husband and wife in case of Dev and Sonakshi. For all we have seen till date, it was Ishwari all over their marriage. Who cared what Deva or Sona wanted, when it came to Dev only thing mattered was Ishwari's wishes, final word. What If Sona the thief and gold digger would have informed about the child, Ishwari would have demanded to bring to child to her but not wanting to bring Sona back. Is that even fair after so much humiliation of Sona (wife) and Bose's by Dev and Dixit's. Or is it a wife should always need to be understanding irrespective of how much humiliation she suffered at the hands of her husband and her in laws.
